This is a relatively new restaurant in limerick so there is a buzz about it and it did not disappoint. In the middle of a crazy Christmas rush outside it was an ideal time-out haven for a hearty and great value dinner. The prawns I had were divine and while the bangers and mash might sound ordinary, they were gourmet speciality sausages and the lightest and well whipped mash I have ever tasted. The descriptions on the menu belie the true gourmet taste and my partner had a steak which was cooked exactly to his liking. The staff were friendly, courteous and so welcoming and calm in what must have been a frantic time, it being a couple of days before Christmas. I can't wait to go back.

I have eaten in the Cornstore several times over the past few months and every time it has been excellent. The steak is to die for and the Thai curry is fantastic. I love the decor and atmosphere in there and the cocktails are fab. It is great for a celebration or just a dinner for two. Having tried most of the menu I suppose I would like to see a revamped menu at this stage.

Shannon Knights
Shannon Town Centre, Shannon, Clare

I was very pleasantly surprised when I went here for lunch, it was not somewhere I would normally think of going but teh location suited several of us meeting up. Great food, it was really fresh tasting cod and salad and a lovely cold glass of house white was perfect with it. The atmosphere is relaxed and very comfortable and felt like we were out at night instead of a lunch hour which is normally frantic everywhere else. Staff are great, attentive but not over the top. We didn't want to go back to work!

Town Hall Bistro
The Old Ground Hotel, O'Connell Street, Ennis, Clare

The Town Hall never fails to impress, I have eaten here a few times over the past year and it really is top notch quality food. If I am bring out anyone in Ennis I can be sure that this restaurant will deliver and never seems to have an 'off night'. The king prawns in beer batter for starter are gorgeous, the wine list is ace and the steaks are always perfect. It is not cheap but worth every cent in my book. Can't wait to go back!

Mocha Coffee Co.
Arthurs Row, Ennis, Clare

The coffee is great here in Mocha but there is very little room and every table is practically on top of the next. The food is nice but has been the same since it opened and badly needs a change of menu. The staff can be offish quite regularly which takes away from the experience. A take out coffee is probably the best option here.

Mogul Emperor - Ennis
Market Street, Ennis, Clare

I have been to the Mogul several times and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly. the only downside is the wine choice which is not great so I now usually just have a beer with my meal. Great food and great value.

Delish - Raheen
6 Courtfields SC, Raheen, Raheen, Limerick

I love this place for lunch and eat here about once a fortnight, the wraps are gorgeous and its the best pot of tea around. The coffee is great too. Sometimes it can get too busy and chaotic at lunchtime but the staff are always friendly and helpful.
