The Hen House

Popped in here for dinner and was well impressed. The service was swift and the food was delicious. Portion sizes I found were just perfect too. Well recommend this restaurant for a visit.

Bloom Brasserie & Wine Bar
11 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for a meal here on a friday evening. There was not that many people in the place but was only 6pm. Food was nice and filling perfect portion size. Had the steak and it was the best steak I've had in a while. The staff were attentive and friendly. Wine list is extensive and some expensive choices too. Went with a voucher but would definitely be returning again without a voucher

Milano (Grand Canal Harbour)
Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Booked in advance and when arrived, I noticed that my reservation (my name) had been crossed off the hosts list, which I noted as strange as we arrived at 6.10 pm and reservation was made for 6.30pm. Was easy to see that because we we’re in a pair that preference went to the larger groups. We we’re seated in an area with a wall in front of where I sat, with AC blowing down on top of us and my chair backed onto larger table with little room to move at all. Felt like I was sitting in the bad tables but I could understand this type of arrangement if I hadn’t of reserved the table but as I had made the reservation though Menupages.ie I was expecting a table which at least I could enjoy my food at. Not even an apology from the host as to why my name had been crossed off the list which I would have been a minimum gesture considering I had pointed to my name on his list. However all that being said, I can’t fault the food considering that it was a full house just the let down was the table provided. to us.

Tamarind (Salthill)
157 Upper Salthill, Salthill, Galway City, Galway

Although I only go to Galway infrequently to visit friends this place is always my number one spot for a meal. The atmosphere, the people and the food is fantastic. Even if we didn't go out at the weekend and decided to stay in then take-away from here is always a healthy tasty option. All in all I can't fault this place and this could easily become one of my favourite spots if I lived in Galway!

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Been meaning to experience this restaurant for a long time. First walked in very busy but seated in far section where it wasn't as noisy. Used menupoints for buy main meal get one free which was an added bonus. I had the beef which was so tasty I was embarrassed that not a scrap on my plate but it taste just too good. The staff were excellent and so polite but there if you needed them for anything. Totally recommend this restaurant and I definitely will be returning again.

Paparazzi
Unit 4 Old River House, Templeogue, Dublin

Been here a few times can never fault this place. This is a great little spot for family get togethers and big groups. It offers good and constant quality - not fine dining by any stretch but we never had a bad meal there. We part of a group and everything went well from service to food standard. Would recommend this restaurant but would probably choose other places first

The Blazin Grill Steakhouse and Seafood
Belgard Square, Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

Been meaning to try out this place for awhile, has been open since Oct 2010. Standard of food to staff is brilliant so friendly and willing to make you as comfortable as possible. We had 2 starters and 2 main's (one a fish special which was to die for so tasty) and a mouthwatering fillet steak all for 60 euro which is very reasonable. The steak is the best I've tasted for a long time. I definitely would recommend this restaurant. And I would definitely be going back even try something else on the substantial menu they have.

Marios (Terenure)
103 Terenure Road East, Dublin 6, Terenure, Dublin

Went for a meal with my friend, she had been several time before however this was my 1st time. We both decided to get the early bird which had a wide selectin of meals on it. I chose the pollo el pasta which was absolutely tasty. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only thing that I didn't like about my visit was when paying the bill the waitress took the money however instead of returning with the change (which is common courtesy) she placed it in the tip jar without even saying anything to us whcih I felt was very rude. All in all it was an enjoyable meal

The Old Mill Bar And Restaurant
Old Bawn Road, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

Have to say I love this place, whether its with a large group or in a couple. The food is always superb with large portions (which to some people is a good thing) they wrap it up to take home if you can manage it which is great. Really enjoy the atmosphere in this place and the decor is brilliant well worth a walk around looking at the different features on the walls. Definitely worth a Try it if in the area

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Was here last year and enjoyed my meal however was there few weeks ago and has gone down hill since then. We were seated at the door and of course the draght was very uncomfortable, moved table not to the liking of staff which I found somewhat rude Plenty of other places to eat and drink in Dublin with competivite prices these days but I was suprised at the differnce in what a year can make though.

The Cedar Tree
11a St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My first experience with Lebanese food in Ireland and I was suprised as the food was very fresh and extremely tasty. The hummus was delicious and was topped with some fantastic olive oil. The entrees were nice and I enjoyed the falafel quite a bit. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant and thought the restaurant was very well laid out. The staff were helpful, attentive, and friendly. All in all, a very satisfactory meal! Will totally going back again. Worth a shot if you have never tried Lebanese food before.

Wrights Anglers Rest
Strawberry Beds, West Dublin, Dublin 20, Chapelizod, Dublin

Went here on a Sunday (were there is a set Sunday menu) with my partner and I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, although the food is more expensive for what you recieve the presentation of the food was excellent. So I would have to say that it is a little gem tucked away and is well worth a visit.

Eddie Rockets (Tallaght)
The Square, Shopping Centre Tallaght, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

I have to say this place is not a good place. I was there and the service is very slow and the food is alright not up the standard I would expect from Eddie Rockets. The smell of burning was revolting and even our clothes were smelling of burning food even when we left. Not worth the money at all

The Porterhouse (Bray)
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

Went for a meal with a group from work and was very impressed with this place. Food was fabulous very impressed. Atmosphere great open log fire a really Christmas feeling. Recommend it to everyone

The Old Orchard Inn
76 Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham, Rathfarnham, Dublin

I love this place the best atmosphere and cosy surroundings always feel at home in this Pub. Food always changing so different variety for everyones taste. Even the soup is great for a light snack. Everyone is catered for here, have covered and heated area for smokers and big screens for all the great football and rugby action every week and of course a big circled bar so they have a quick service along with bar server's going around tables for extra convenience.

profile_review

Comans Rathgar
2 Terenure Road East, Rathgar, Dublin

Really like this pub, really good atmosphere especially if you want to catch the football/rugby. Food is typically pub grub but is very tasty. Well worth a visit if you have an evening free just to chill out in.

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This a great place for Christmas dinner with a group. Great atmosphere and there is a wide selection of food for everyone's taste. Right in the centre of town with all the hustle and bustle for christmas time enjoyment.

China House (Lucan)
7 & 8 Finnstown Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Great little take away with a wide selection of food, for those who like to try something different every time you will not be disappointed. Prices goos for the size of portion you get very filling and very tasty. Recommend this place to everyone.

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went here on Saturday night with a party of 4. All in all was not inpressed with the food very bland and service was bad. Had to ask for olive oil and pepper which should be supplied to every table. I certainly would not recommend this restuarant and would never return.

Lemongrass (Liffey Valley)
Arc Bar, Liffey Valley Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

This place is amazing love the food no matter you order the food is good and the kitchen is in full view for customers. The aroma coming from the kitchen is heaven. It's great also because have take away if want to dine at home with friends always garunteed fantastic food

profile_review

The Lord Lucan Pub
The Finnstown Shopping Centre, Newcastle Rd, Lucan, Dublin

As this is my local, for drinks and the football its grand but food does not live up to much at all you could make something better yourself at home. Set standard menu with not much choice at all.

profile_review

Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Tallaght)
Unit A3 Tallaght Cross Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

Love the atmosphere in this place, staff are friendly and attentive. Great place to chill out in or even just quick bite to eat.

profile_review

Brunos
Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

I have to admit this place has declined in just under a year. Went here last year and was raving about to everyone and all teh people who went agreed with me. But a recent visit completely changed my option. Reason people eat out is to enjoy there food but the food is just not up to standards that it was last year. Hopefully my next visit will change my option altogether.

profile_review

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

My all time favorite place to eat. I love everything about this place and a regular diner. Caters for so many people with so much to choose from one the menu. Ideal for rpmatic meal or in a large group. Right in the heart of the city so ideal for a starting point for a night out on the town.

The Gallery Restaurant at the Church
Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Went here with a group for my birthday and loved it. Atmosphere was brilliant and whole aura of being in a actually Church is excellent. Food was fabulous and staff were just great. Asked could reserve a table in the nightclub and this was all arranged as we enjoyed finishing off our dinner. Definitely would recommend it and will be going back again!!!!
