Went here before a show and it was exactly what we were after! Food is lovely and came quickly! Staff were really nice and very helpful! Table was a bit squished but fine! My only issue would be that the toilets (while very clean) are very weird!!

Darwins
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Organised a work night out here for 25. We were given a set menu that had a bit of everything to choose from. The food and wine were super tasty - I had prawns and fillet steak, then lemon cheesecake for dessert! Recommend them all! The lemon sorbet was amazing! The staff were so friendly and accommodating and got us all watered an fed with no issue!

Can't fault this place at all! Went for the Apres Work menu. Starter and mains come out together on the one plate which was cool! The fish cakes were delicious! Perfect for some cheap eats and cocktails with the girls! Cocktails are gorgeous and SO reasonable! Would definitely recommend this place and will be back!

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Me and my sister brought my Mam here for Mothers day. It was extremely busy when we got there but we had booked a table so we were fine! The menu us quite big and there is alot to chose including quite a good vegetarian section. For starters we went for pear and walnut salad which was fine, chicken wings which were quite spicy and very tasty and the hummus which came with olive tapanade. Was a bit disappointed with the hummus as it was a bit bland but the tapenade was full of flavour! For mains we ordered the lamb shank which was so tender it fell off the bone, the Farm burger (relish is yummy) and the fish pie. Two of us were not huge fish fans but the fish pie was gorgeous! Was quite jealous when it came! Overall the food did not disappoint and the freshness of the food really made the meal! The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff were lovely. My only issue would be that the toilets, in comparison to the rest of the restaurant, were a bit grubby. Besides that we were all very happy and will definitely be back.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here with some girlfriends for dinner. It was very busy so we were glad we booked a table in advance! The staff were friendly and the service was good if a little slow, understandably so... Food is very tasty and there is plenty to choose from. Was a little bit more expensive than I have paid for similar food in the past but it was a nice treat! Banana pancakes are SO yummy! They have a spanish guitar come on at about 10.30 and we were sitting right underneath the speaker which meant it was very hard for us to talk so we headed off a bit earlier than we probably would have!

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Liffey Valley)
Unit 40B, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Went here for a cheap and cheerful meal with three others. I had the Harbernero which was slightly hot but not too bad. It was tasty and are big so the 4oz burger was more than enough!! One of the girls had the chicken burger with camembert and cranberry which was quite nice too. The chips were not great - a little on the greasy side which was disappointing but the smoked chilli dip was yum! The strawberry milkshake is a nice treat! As burger places go its nice! Would definitely go again if I was after something quick and filling!

Marguaritte's Restaurant & Bakery
Newcastle West, Newcastle West, Limerick

Myself and my mother stopped here on out way from Dublin. We ate in the restaurant upstairs. You can see the chef cooking your food in front of you which was great! The food was so fresh and really tasty! I had the bruschetta and it was lovely. My mam had the spicy beef sandwich. The waitress, despite being extremely busy, was very attentive and friendly. It was quite resaonable too! Would definitely recommend it if your in that neck of the woods!

Toast
Rathmines Road Lower, Rathmines, Dublin

Have been to toast a few times for food. Good for laid back cheap eats and a catch up during the day. Food is good and the staff are friendly but not too in your face!

Tamara Restaurant
Unit 11/18 Belgard Square, Tallaght Town Centre, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

Food was good, the portions are HUGE! Good value. Staff were nice and our food came really quickly!! It was nice for a casual Sunday dinner. Its a big place and it was quite empty so there wasn't much in the way of atmosphere! Would eat here again

Diep le Shaker
55 Pembroke Lane, (Off Pembroke Street), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Was here for dinner with friends. Food was nice but no more special than any other Thai place I've eaten in which makes the prices a bit hard to swallow! The singapore noodles came with about three prawns!!! It was very quiet when I was there so the atmosphere wasn't great. Staff were fine.

Greedy Goose
15 Townyard Lane, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

This is a really nice place to eat! The food is different and really tasty! Love the idea of the tasting menu! I went with friends and we all ordered something different so sampled a fair bit of the menu. The duck rolls are so good. The only down side of the night was the steak with prawns. It was the one I was most looking forward to but to be honest it wasn't that great. The staff were lovely and the place itself is very cosy! Would definitely recommend it and will go back.

Siam Thai (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Have been here twice and both times the food was great!! Food was lovely although two people ordered the Mossaman, only one got potato! Service was fine. The waitress was really nice but they were obviously under pressure when it came to our main course because the food was thrown at us!! Their early bird menu is great value! Will definitely be back.
