Cannot believe that there are not more comments on this place! It is fab! The food, service, wine-list and atmosphere are all equally excellent. It is quiet a roomy restaurant in that even when all tables are taken you do not feel crowded in, we have eaten here maybe ten times in the past year or so, many times for family occasions and the management are accommodating for small children. Also importantly it is very good value! A highly recommended restaurant!La Dolce Vita Wine Bar restaurant

This is a small restaurant so can feel very stuffy when there are a few tables eating at the same time, they serve small bottles of wine rather than pouring from the large bottle which i love as i have brought my mom here on occasion, she tends not to finish the whole glass so loves that she can take it home with her to finish! The food is always good and the portions are reasonable. A very relaxed restaurant to suit a lazy day shopping!
The Wine Bar at Dublin Wine Rooms
Custom House Square, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin
Excellent find! Service, food and wine selection all excellent. Quirky mismatched tables

Gallahers Bistro
16A D'Olier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Myself and my sister visited on Saturday for the afternoon tea special. We were seated quickly and were well looked after! Lovely china cups and plates and a very generous array of sweet and savour provided. You can choose 3 from 5 sandwich options which ensures all tastes are catered for. Try the rare beef w/ caramelised onion - amazing! Lovely flavoursome small sweet portions, choc orange cake and vanilla cupcake being my highlight! Comfortable restaurant in a great location with service that is efficient and not rushed. They were very busy with food service around us and everything looked good with empty plates being returned all around. We could have stayed all evening happily.. We will def be back!

Bloom Brasserie & Wine Bar
11 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin
Have down-graded the service in this review because the only fault we found with Blooms was the lack of staff. We had booked a table to celebrate an occasion and the restaurant was full due to the match being on last night, the roster did not appear to reflect this fact and we had to wait ages for both service and our food, all the tables in our section had to double-request their drinks or sides. That being said when the food did arrive it was faultless and the restaurant does have a fantastic wine list. I recommend the lamb main course..it was just perfect! We are going to try this restaurant again but most definitely shall be going on a quiet mid week night next time!

Wallace's Torino
9 Grattan Crescent, Dublin 8 , Inchicore, Dublin
Was well impressed with this restaurant, the food is super, fresh ingredients used and they provide quiet a nice wine-list too. try the goats cheese starter..well recommended!
McSwiggans
3 Eyre Street, Woodquay, Galway
I agree with the previous comments, lived in Galway for three years and this restaurant was my favourite treat! However, from visits made back there within the last two years the service has changed significantly, young students waiters with a lack of understanding on proper service are now the norm. The food portions have decreased and the food is not hot enough to serve in my opinion, how hard is it to ensure that food is placed on a hot plate??? it is such a shame to see this restaurant failing. After my last visit to this restaurant today i can honestly say that i will not be returning. Disappointing visit.

Sol Rio Restaurant
Bridge Street, Westport, Mayo
Fantastic food, excellent choices on the wine list and cool tunes in the background! There are daily specials which always include some locally sourced fish. The service can leave something to be desired, they take an informal approach to service which i do not think sits very well with the type of food that they serve! However, again i reiterate that the food is fantastic so if you are prepared to forgive the dodgy waitressing then you will love this place!

Cosy Joe's
Bridge Street, Westport, Mayo
ate in cosy joe's last week and have to say that there are far better places to eat in westport than this pub, we ordered toasted sandwiches and soups, something light after having climbed the reek.. the service was slow and the waitress really did not want to be there, even though there were about 4 tables waiting to order the waitress spent a good five minutes playing with the music system! But on the alternative the menu is cheap eats so i suppose it balances out overall.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin
Have to say that i agree with the previous reviewer when they said they had to chase the waitress for service, we seemed to have suffered the same fate with a very lax waitress working in our section, that said there were other staff who were excellent, flying around the floor engaging with the guests. unfortunately we were very unlucky and honestly it will be a long while before we will return, the food was ok, nothing special and this place is rather pricey, if you decide to charge for a four star restaurant maybe train ALL employees to that standard as well.

Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin
Ate here last fri at lunchtime with my partner and happily cannot fault this restaurant in any way! There is a lovely atmosphere with an option of eating out in the covered smoking area. The service, and the food was excellent, had the duck confit which was perfectly executed, meat fell from the bone, with the goats cheese salad which i am going back for tomorrow!! This time im bringing a group of girls for dinner and i honestly cannot wait! I think this restaurant is a bit of an undiscovered jem to be honest because we did not know it existed until we fell upon it last week! Much recommended!!
