This is a restaurant that I would normally come to for dinner but we decided to do lunch here. It is so different to anywhere else in Naas for lunch - lovely fresh food . I had the mussels for starter - I love the way they serve them. And the most wonderful plaice for mains. There was only one girl serving but she's wonderful - she managed to keep everyone happy - so on the ball. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Corfu Greek Restaurant
12 Parliment Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for a lunch special of 2 courses plus glass of wine for less than €10. We had never been here before and were delighted with the warm welcome. The food was superb - the fish soup was so tasty as was the chicken main course. Lovely atmosphere , great staff and amazing value - will definitely be back here.

Marco Polo
O'Connell Street, Limerick, Limerick City, Limerick

Visiting Limerick for the day and had lunch here after seeing their board outside advertising lunch for €9.95 . We went in and were greeted by lovely gentleman who led us to our table. The décor is great - fabulous lightening. We were really surprised with the extensive menu -a few items had supplement but we felt that even with the supplement those dishes were good value. The 3 of us had different things for both starters and mains. We had black pudding, pulled pork crostini and spring rolls for starters followed by peppered chicken, lasagne and green curry. The presentation and taste of each dish was great. The staff were so attentive to every table. The restaurant was buzzing for lunch which is what they deserve. Can't wait to make it back here.

La Maison
15 Castle Market Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had lovely meal here on a beautiful evening. It was so nice we sat outside. The service was so professional and friendly. Had fish for both starter and mains and they were wonderful. We had Tarte Tatin for dessert - it was for 2 but when we saw it we thought we'd only eat half of it. It tasted so good we polished off the whole thing - this is the nicest Tarte Tatin that I've had outside France. I will be back to this restaurant

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Ate here last night. When we went in the place was buzzing. The set dinner menu doesn't have the price on it - checked the price and it was €36 however if you had same dished the A La Carte it worked out cheaper so beware. I had the chicken wings but you don't get a finger bowl . My mains of salmon was very tasty but one of the guests had Paella. It looked very good but tasted reheated. At 10.15 (the week before Christmas) they said the bar was closing. At 10.30 the Christmas lights were turned off . I went downstairs to the bathroom at 10.30 and they were actually mopping the floor around tables that still had customers . We paid and when leaving asked to speak to the manager to point out about the bar , mopping floors etc - to say he was disinterested is an understatement.

The Waterloo Bar
36 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, D04 R6Y6, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Ate here last night with 2 pals. We had an early booking and when we arrived the premises was fairly empty but even so it had a lovely warm feeling. There seemed to be 2 staff members on duty and both of them were very welcoming . On the recommendation of our waitress we had a lovely Tempranillo Rioja . Food wise we had Satay Chicken and the Salmon with side of the roasted veg. The flavours were just wonderful. One of the diners said it was one of the nicest satay dishes she ever had. The desserts caused a bit of a headache as they all sounded so wonderful -after much deliberation we opted for the Strawberries with the blackpepper and basil, the tarte tatin and the chocolate pyramid. They were all amazing desserts - the flavours and the presentation were A1 - so nice to finish a night on such a high note. This is a venue we'll definitely be back to - keep up the wonderful food and hold onto you're wonderful friendly efficient staff

The Counter Dundrum
Pembroke District, (adjacent to the Mill Pond at Town Square), Dundrum, Dublin

This was my first time here but the fellow diner explained the drill to me. It fun to get the page with all the options and just tick exactly what you want . I had a chicken burger with some beautiful additions. My companion had a beef burger which she was really pleased with as well. All went down well with some nice wine. We were there for a late lunch so itt was fairly empty when we went so that would account for the lack of atmosphere. I'd like to go back at night time - I bet its buzzing. The waitress was very helpful and attentive.

Il Baccaro
Meeting House Square, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Had dinner here with 2 friends. It was a beautiful evening so it was lovely to be able to sit outside. We had the early bird menu which was available on Fri which was brilliant value. We all had the antipasti to start with - lovely mix of different cured meats and cheeses - went down very well with the house red. We also had same main course of chicken - must say none of us left anything on the plate. But the tiramisu was to die for - I go back for that alone its sooo good - why can't other restaurants manage this. The staff were efficient and so friendly. I love this restaurant

Diwali Indian Restaurant
Unit 1, Castle House, South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Was here for lunch yesterday . It was at the end of service so the restaurant was fairly empty which impacted slightly on the of atmosphere - but you can imagine what it would be like when busier. Even though the kitchen was about to close the staff were so inviting. Three of were dining - had different starters and mains and all dishes were so tasty and very generous . It was amazing value for the set lunch. All of us said we'd come back here some evening dinner. Keep up the wonderful standards.

VnV at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel
Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

2 of came here for an early dinner last Thur night. Loved the layout of the restaurant - the quirky hanging of mirrors and arrangement of tables made for nice feeling. We knew things were going to be good when bread arrived served with a lovely large head of roasted garlic - it was so good to squeeze it onto tasty bread. We both had a venison starter which had such lovely depth of flavour. I had belly of pork - so so good I can almost taste it now. My fellow diner had fish which was equally good. We were going to pass on dessert but on the advise of our waiter we waited for some time before making up our mind. That was a good decision as the Creme Brulee was one of the best I've had in a long time. The house Malbec was a lovely wine. But food and wine aside - the staff in this restaurant were second to none. All the staff that dealt with us were of a really high standard but our main waiter just oozed personality - nothing was too much trouble and you really felt that he wanted to make sure you enjoyed your experience - and enjoy it we did . Will be back . Keep up the wonderful standard

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here using a Menupages voucher. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant. The menu was the lunch menu but served in the evening as they no longer open at lunch time. We were seated at a lovely window seat so we could watch all the coming and goings. There was a lovely choice of food. We had potted crayfish and the spinach and ricotta empandas as starters and both dishes were to a very high standard and the presentation was lovely. For mains we both had the rib eye steaks which were cooked to perfection, The meat was lovely and flavoursome and was accompanied by lovely roast veg and thick cut chips. Our deal included a glass of wine each which was a lovely Tempranillo - we then changed to a nice bottle of Malbec which was really tastly and a very good price. I must say the staff were so professional and pleasant and didn't treated us as any other client even thought they weren't making much money out of us due to the voucher. We checked out the dinner menu for future reference and will come back here in the future. Well done all.

Butt Mullins
Poplar Square, Naas, Naas, Kildare

Had a lovely girlie night out here. From the moment we went in the door the staff were so friendly and efficient. We all ate from the early bird menu which is amazing value and very good choice. Their brown bread is reason enough to go here. It was a beautiful evening so we moved to the lovely courtyard once we'd finished eating. It was so nice to sit there drinking our wine and not feel rushed in anyway. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Were next to window so could people watch whilst waiting our food. Had 2 lovely salad starters and also soup. For mains we had fish of the day, chicken and pork . All the dishes were really tasty and the portions for both starters and mains were very generous. We all had the brown bread icecream - a favourite of ours when we visit. Il Fico
Dublin Road, Naas, Kildare

Went for early bird menu - wonderful value at under €13 for 3 courses of wonderful food. The service was good but the waiting staff could have been a bit friendlier. We had a lovely Chilean Merlot wine which was also very good value - great in these recessionary times. The restaurant is long and narrow but with good placement of tables it doesn't feel claustrophic. There is a small step down as you go from one room to the next - it would be helpful if this was pointed out by the person showing you to your table. Would definitely comes back here.
