Best french fries in Dublin (at least for me), thin and well cocked, and not like the chunky ones tasting like mashed potato fried outside. Great staff, very helpful. Very good value, less than 10 euros for a burger with your own choice of toppings and others. Better quality than other more expensive burger restaurants.

I went to the restaurant with my boyfriend on a monday evening. The food was ok, I agree with other reviews, they change their menues wich is good, but it may be overpriced sometimes.

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Me and my boyfriend have visited Buenos Aires Grill several times since they opened and we've never been disappointed. We had a pleasant evening with friends, scrumptious food in a good atmosphere. The staff was at the top of their game and made sure we all had a good time. We will definitely keep returning!

The Counter Suffolk Street
20 Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin

It is not what it used to be some years ago. I went with 2 colleagues from work. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. It was around 5 pm and there were only 3 tables occupied, we were probably 9 people in the restaurant. You can say it was almost empty. The chef got 2 of our orders wrong and we had to send our meals back to the kitchen. It was NOT the waiter's fault, I double checked the notes filled by us & the waiter, after we got the wrong meals. They still use good products to prepare their meals.

Cava Spanish Restaurant & Tapas Bar
51 Lower Dominick Street, Galway City, Galway

Simply perfect. I understand that portions may be a little smaller than in other similar places, but the price is lower as well. Then it is a very good value

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I´ve been trying to visit Cactus Jack for a good while, and I have only 2 things to say: 1- We waited a lot for each dish. 2- After we finished our main course, NOBODY ever came to clear our table. Finally we stood up, and we went to the till to pay.

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went to Bella Roma with my colleague for a late lunch after our shift in the hotel. Very good value, and generous portions, I had a pasta carbonara wich was delicious.

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Me and my brother ended in this restaurant a saturday afternoon after many hours sightseeing. Wery good athmosphere, great service, although they were very busy, they gave us a table inmediately. We were only 1 minute to 7pm, when the early bird promotion finishes, but they were very flexible and gave us the promotion. I would definitely go back to taste other of their delicious dishes.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I´ve been 3 times already, and I always want to return to this place. The mix of casual, friendly staff, good atmosphere (sundays with live guitar). My favourites, chorizo al vino y champignones al ajillo. The best place to have a dinner and forget the time.

Chez Max (Palace Street)

Friendly staff, I add another vote for the Onion Soup. I also loved the duck and the goat cheese in the filo pastry.

The Alamo Restaurant

All this years I wondered why it was very busy. Now I understand: Great athmosphere, tasty food, and very good value.

I loved the Deep Fried Ice Cream. I may go back only to taste this dessert.

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Yamamori Sushi, the first place that comes to my mind when I´m with friends, and we just want to relax after few hours walking in town. Good quality of food, friendly staff. I like the open kitchen area
