Wednesday eve, the restaurant wasn't too busy but there was a nice relaxed atmosphere about the place. As we were using a menupages voucher, I'd already studied the menu prior to going. We got there to discover the menu had been recently changed and the dish I really wanted was no longer on the menu. However, the lovely manageress got the chef to cook it for me. Chicken Florentina and it was delicious. My friend had a pizza which was equally as good. The Death by Chocolate for dessert was to die for. Great restaurant in Blanchardstown. The staff were so nice. Really looking forward to going again.

Spice Of India (Clonsilla)
5 Weavers Row, West Co. Dublin, Clonsilla, Dublin

People of Blanchardstown, you need to eat here. I'd ordered takeaway before which was really good so when I saw the deal on Menupages, I decided it was time for a visit. The restaurant is very deceiving from the outside. Inside is a long dining room very nicely decorated. We were greeted by friendly staff. The food was delicious and nicely presented. We shared the vegtable platter for starter, very nice. I had the lamb chilli masala. The lamb was so tender. My partner had the chicken jalfrezi. Both dishes were so tasty. We were too full for dessert but on asking for the bill, we did get a shot of Irish liqueur on the house which was a nice touch. Really looking forward to going to Spice of India again.

Bon Appetit
9 James Terrace, Malahide, Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Five of us dined here, we had the tasting menu, which is a great way to try things you wouldn't normally order. The dining room is beautiful. The staff were excellent, attentive without being too intrusive, and each dish was explained well to us. Food was excellent. We were asked which dish was our favourite and least favourite at the end. Chilean wine was really good. I would recommend Bon Appetit and now they've added afternoon tea to their menus, I definitely will be back for that.

Was really looking forward to visiting this restaurant and wasn't disappointed. Staff were really welcoming and service was excellent. Great choice on the menu. Food was excellent, especially the chilli beef. Great, fun atmosphere throughout. This is my new favourite restaurant, looking forward to next time.

Whitefriar Grill
16 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

This restaurant has a great value menu, it's e55 for three courses for two people plus a bottle of wine. We came in a Tuesday and even though it wasn't packed out the staff are so good, they create a real buz about the place. We both had the gnocchi with rabbit to start. I had the hake for main and my friend had the rump and ribs. Everthing was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. We both had the brownie for dessert which was devine. Great little spot, great food and great staff. Looking forward to going back already.

Bar 52
52 Middle Abbey Street,, City Centre North, Dublin

Dined here on a voucher. The staff couldn\'t have been nicer. I had garlic mushrooms to start and the fish and chips for main. My partner had the pizza of which I\'m not normally a fan but it was the nicest pizza I\'ve ever tasted. It\'s great value even without a voucher and I\'ll definitely go back even if it\'s for the pizza.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Dined here with a friend after receiving a text from the restaurant about their BBQ Surf and Turf Deal. €20 for steak, lobster tail and a glass of prosecco. I had this and it was totally delicious and presented beautifully. My friend had a burger from the Al la carte menu, which she was equally happy with. The Portugese house wine was also delicious. We shared a pecan pie for dessert which was very rich but devine. It was a Wednesday eve and the restaurant was very busy. The staff were lovely too. No complaints, looking forward to my next visit.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

Dined at this restaurant on a deal. Sometimes they don't work out but I'd heard great things about Tante Zoes. The retaurant wasn't busy when we arrived, 6pm on a Thursday eve. Our waiter was very nice at first. Our starters of Alabama Rissoles and Garlic and Chili prawns were delicious. Our mains arrived, I'd ordered the Jambalaya, so tasty. My friend ordered the blackened salmon which unfortunately was very raw on the inside. No big deal, we sent it back to be thrown back on the pan but it was a good 10-15 minutes before it came back by which time I had finished my main. We ordered coffee and dessert. We got the coffee but after a while the waiter came back to check what we'd ordered, also no biggie but, when he finally arrived back with the dessert, one of them was wrong. When we'd finished dessert, we got asked to move to the "Bar" area to finish our drinks with the offer of another glass of wine each because the restaurant had gotten so busy. We didn't mind, but we finished our wine and the extra glass never came so in the end we just left feeling very dissapointed. The food that we got was good but the service badly let them down.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Tried this restaurant on a Friday eve thinking there might be a good atmosphere with people popping in after work. I was wrong. A good few of the tables were occupied but there's no atmosphere, feels like the dining space is too big and open. The food was good, I had the pork belly to start and the Hake for mains, no complaints there. My partner had the soup and the duck, also good. Service throughout the meal was good but when there was a mistake made on the bill, I left almost feeling like it was my fault, no apology so for that reason I won't be back.

Maximilians Bistro
Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Used a menupages deal to try this restaurant for the first time. Staff greeted us warmly and led us straight to our table. We had goats cheese crostini and piri piri prawns to start. Both starters were excellent. I ordered the sole fillet for mains, again excellent. My partner had the pizza calzone which was ok. The menu has great choices and I look forward to returning here to try more of what this restaurant has to offer.

The Parnell Heritage Pub and Grill
72-74 Parnell Street, O'Connell St, Dublin

They've done a great job on the place, it really looks great. The staff are great, they greeted every single person that walked in the door while we were there. Service was good. We had starters of goats cheese bruschetta, delish. Mains of the curry and the Fish were good, portion sizes were very good too. I wish the owners and staff the best of luck with the new place. Well worth a visit for a nice bit to eat and a few chillaxed drinks. Looking forward to trying the BBQ on the rooftop terrace on a nice day.

Captain America's Blanchardstown
Unit 40 Blanchardstown, Retail Park 2 Extension Dublin, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Used a Living Social deal here. Even without the voucher the restaurant is doing some great deals. Staff were great, service excellent. Food is grand but portions are huge so make sure you come hungry. We had the combo starter of wedges, wings, goujons, mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. Stuffed after it, had to wait a while before having the mains. Will definitely come back again.

Mao Restaurant (Chatham Row)
2-3 Chatham Row, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here for lunch with a friend. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and offered a choice of tables as it wasn't too busy. The lunch offer is great value, main and a drink e9.95. We shared a starter of kung po chicken wings, delicious. I had the green curry and my friend had the chili lime beef. Food was very tasty and portions were a good size. Service was fast but friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Juniors
2 Bath Avenue, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Came here after a friend recommended it and we weren't disappointed. Although it's quiet small, the atmosphere is great. Staff were friendly. The food is fab and portion sizes are generous. We had mussels and crab for starters. The crab was delicous even though I'm not a fan of shellfish. The special was Monkfish wrapped in proscutio ham, with mustard mash, devine. The others has the cod and the clam linguine, both very good. The cheesecake dessert was ok but we were reallly too full for it. I recommend a visit but make sure you book.

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Three of us ate here on A Friday evening. We all had the early bird menu, which is great value at €19.95 for three courses plus a glass of wine. There is a great choice on the menu which is good. We opted for meatballs, chicken wings and a soup for starters and all three of us had the chicken Fajitas for mains. We finished the meal with the tequila and lime cheesecake. Service was excellent. Highly recommended for a relaxed bite to eat and seems to cater well for large groups.

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Ate here because we had the Steak on the Stone deal. The waiter who greeted us was very friendly and offered a choice of tables. The soup starter was delicous. The two steak mains were excellent, it came with three different sauces and chunky chips. Dessert was a bit disappointing but only because my first choice of Tiramsu was not available. Overall, great value, friendly staff, good atmosphere as the restaurant got quiet busy while we were there.

The Harbour Master Restaurant & Bar
Custom House Dock, I.F.S.C Dublin 1, IFSC, Dublin

Used a city deal to eat here on a Wednesday evening. Initially the service was pretty good, we were seated quickly and orders taken pretty soon after. I ordered the Seabass and my partner ordered the stuffed Chicken. Both mains were very good. After the plates were cleared we seemed to be forgotten about. I asked one waitress for the dessert menu. After 20 mins, still no menu and our drinks were empty too. I asked another waitress for the bill. After another 10 mins waiting we just left what we owed and walked out. I wouldn't have been so impatient if the restaurant was busy but it wasn't. I won't recommend to anyone but if you don't care about service the chicken wings are amazing here.

Chai Yo
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Chai Yo are doing an excellent value early bird menu at e17.50 for four courses, one being tea or coffee. Starters and mains were excellent. We had a selection between three of us. Choice of dessert was disappointing, ice cream or fruit fritter but that's the case with most of this type of restaurant. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The restaurant wasn't too busy. I would definitely come back to try the tippenyaki bar upstairs as that was were the atmosphere seemed to be.

Q Bar - closed

Great spot for something quick to eat. There's a good choice on the menu and portion sizes are generous. Not very expensive either and the service was good. Cheap drinks on a Monday was a bonus.

Dante (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Popped in here for a quick dinner as had two for one voucher. It wasn't busy but it was midweek. We shared a starter of chicken tenders which arrived within minutes of ordering. We both had pizza, the rustic pizza was very good. Service was excellent, both waitresses were friendly. The only thing I would complain about is that it was quite cold in the restaurant.

The Larder Restaurant
8 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here as it was recommended by a friend and so glad I did. It's a lovely cosy restaurant. great for chilling with friends and having a chat. When we arrived the specials were explained to us. The menu has a good selection of choices and very reasonable. It was "Steak Night" when we were here so we both opted for that. Steak, Chips and Salad for e10, great value. The wine was reasonably priced too. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Will definitely be recommending The Larder Cafe to others.

Salamanca Fusion
38 - 40 Parliament Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Decided to meet some friends here for dinner after reading some of the other reviews on menupages. We went for the great value early bird menu, €15 for three courses. I had the caeser salad to start, two others had the mussels in white wine sauce and one had the piri piri chicken skewers. The mussels were the best choice, so tasty. Three of us had the rib eye steak and one had the pork medallions. Though not huge portions, the food was delicious and just enough. All washed down with a nice glass of red. The restaurant was busy so there was a nice atmosphere. It's a lovely cosy restaurant to meet friends and have a chat over some nice food. Staff were friendly and service was good. Good food at great value, will definitely recommend Salamanca to others.

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

A large group of us ate here Saturday evening. The drinks order was taken first. Then the food order was taken. As starters arrived, there were still no drinks on the table. This was brought to the staffs attention to which the reply was "it's coming". The restaurant wasn't too busy so no excuses. The restaurant offers two courses, either starter and main or main and dessert, for 15 euro which is great value. I had the chicken wings to start, they were ok and had the cheeseburger for main, again edible. Although great value, food is nothing to rave about and service is lacking, probably won't come back unless it's just for the amazing cocktails.

The Townhouse Dining Room
Above The Townhouse Bar, The Latin Quarter, Quay Lane, Across from the Spanish Arch, Galway City, Galway

A group of us ate here on Saturday night. We chose the restaurant on the basis that we had a 25% of food voucher. No one in our party had been before and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, portions were a generous size and well presented. The only thing I didn't like was the poppyseed cheesecake, but the chocolate brownie was to die for. The wine was reasonably priced. Service was excellent. I will return here and I will be recommending it to others.

Novo
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin

Used my menu points here, free starter, main and dessert. The waitress was lovely. She had good knowledge of the menu and was able to recommend dishes. We both had salads to start. They were lovely and fresh and portions were very generous. I had the baramundi for main and my friend had the curry. Both were very good. We shared the lemon drizzle cake for dessert. Overall a very pleasant experience, will definitely return.

The Beach House Greystones
The Harbour, Greystones, County Wicklow, Greystones, Wicklow

First time at the Beach House. There was a great atmosphere in the place, everyone is so friendly. Food was good, huge portions too. Service was a little slow but it was a very busy Sunday afternoon. I will definitely recommend this place to others.

Yamamori Noodles
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Decided to come here for a friends birthday. As we were eating late we all skipped straight to mains. Two people had Tuna teriyaki, two people had the Bento Box and one had the Snapper. All of the food was good. The service on the night was very bad. Two meals came out and then there was a 10 minute wait before the others arrived to the table. One of the Bento boxes came without the Miso soup. Plates were cleared while we were still eating. We didn't bother staying for dessert and definitely won't be back.

profile_review

Alfies
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Decided to give Alfies a try after reading good reviews on Menupages. We were not disappointed. There were three of us and we all went for the early bird, which is great value. Lovely restaurant. Food was delicious, as was the carafes of wine. Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. Will definitely be back for more.

Old Plaza Restaurant
Unit 20, 1st Floor, The Plaza, Swords, Dublin

I've been here a few times. The staff are lovely and always have a bit of craic with the diners. Food is very good and great value. Our group had the early bird, at €16 euro for three courses is great value and the menu has a good choice. We were even offered a free drink at the end of our meal which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back again.

WILDE
The Westbury, Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

A group of four of us came here as part of Dine in Dublin week. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were friendly. I had the beef carpaccio to start, two others had lobster bisque and one had the smoked salmon. All beautifully presented and delicious. I had the rib eye for main and the others had the veal. Again no complaints as we all cleaned our plates. Desserts were fab. Service was excellent. The only thing that let the evening down was the addition of 12.5% service charge to the bill. Personally I like to decide. However, I would recommend this restaurant and will re-visit.

101 Talbot
Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

My friend had been dying to try this restaurant for ages. We went in about 6pm on Saturday evening and as we hadn't booked, we were told the table was needed again at 7pm. It wasn't busy at first but was buzzing by 7. The early bird menu is very limited. My friend ordered from this and I ordered from the main menu. The food was ok, nothing to rave about or rush back for. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Don't think I'll go back as there is much better value to be had elsewhere.

La Caverna Restaurant & Wine Bar
12 Fownes Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Decided to try this retaurant after seeing it reviewed on TV. My friend had the calamari to start, she thought it was tasteless and rubbery. The chicken wings were good though. We had the burger, lasagne and tortellini for mains, all good. I did think service was a bit lacking, the waitress wasn't too friendly. I would give it a go again though.

profile_review

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Came here on Sunday evening for dinner. We were first given the main menu and had to ask for the menu with the Irish dishes which were advertised on boards outside. We had the Potato and Leek soup to start, I had the Bacon and Cabbage which I loved so much I recommended to a Swedish couple who sat next to us. My friend had the cod and chips, also very good. My only concern is that as I was walking downstairs to the toilets, I realised the food was brought from downstairs past the toilets! Otherwise no complaints.

Ate here last Friday with two friends. We each had the Bento box which is great value at 10 euro and a great way to try a variety of dishes. Cocktails are half price before 7pm, another good reason to give this place a try. Staff were great, service was good, food was good. Will definitely be back.

Decided to eat just because we were looking for somewhere different. Restaurant was empty and the waitress still tried to seat us near the door.Food was ok. I had pasta which was a little cold, my friend had a pizza which they said was very good. Service was good if a little rushed. It was good value though.

profile_review

Green 19
19 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

A group of 10 of us ate here last Friday. The menu is good value and the food was grand. I had the portebello mushroom to start, it was very good but the Chicken Caeser salad was only ok. The restaurant is very cramped, tables are too close together. Service wasn't great, maybe because they pack so many in. The unisex toilets are a turn-off.

profile_review

Thai Spice
3A Talbot Place, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

Really like this restaurant so was delighted that it came up in a menupages deal, 2 starters, 2 mains and a bottle of wine for €27. There was great choice on the menu, I ordered the chicken wings to start and green curry for mains. My partner ordered a soup for starter and the duck for mains. The food was as good as it usually is. However, not sure if they were short staffed but we waited at least 30 mins between starters and mains and when we finished our mains we seemed to be totally forgotten about. We wanted to order dessert and coffee but couldn't get a waitresses attention so in the end we just left. I will come back but hope the bad service was a once off.

Hadn't been here in a while so decided to have dinner here with three friends on Tuesday. We all ordered two dishes each and shared two portions of patatas. Most of the dishes were good. The Lamb Stew and meatballs are a firm favourite. Great value as the bill came to less than e100 for dinner, wine and coffees. Service was a bit slow and it was hard to grab the waitresses attention but it was pretty busy. A great place to come for a relaxed bite to eat.
