Had been looking forward to trying this place for ages. We booked in advance as otherwise a 40min wait was necessary, even though plenty of free tables around. Our slightly rocking table for 4 was right by the door so breezy even though we were upstairs. Chowder, buffalo mozzarella were amongst our starters which were pleasent. The main courses of haddock, beef cheek and pork were dissapointing however. The beef cheek overly rich and salty and the haddock bland with small portions and lack of vegetables. Nice food but overpriced for what we got. Nice to try it given its reputation but we won\'t be back to The Winding Stairs.

Although nice, there was nothing memorable about the food. Staff were lovely and environment comfortable and pleasant. \n

Chez Max (Baggot Street)
133 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The beef bourginon was tender but excessively salty. I concluded the chef got lazy and dropped a bottle of soya sauce into the cooking pot. The chicken was very simple and frankly not memorable. Courteous waitress in pleasant al fresco surroundings. House Merlot very satisfying.

Mama's Revenge
12 Leinster Street South, Dublin, Ireland, City Centre South, Dublin

For a budget friendly tasty burrito this is the place to go. Prompt service and great value for money. If you want a quick bite to eat and no nonsense near the city center this is the place to go.

SALE e PEPE
The Diamond, Main Street, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Went here after seeing the many great reviews online. It was a busy Tuesday night which we took as a good sign. Staff were great. Good was only mediocre though. The chicken wing starter certainly didn\'t blow me away. The fillet steak was nice but the hand cut chips it came with were a little sad and floppy looking. For the price I was disappointed. Desert of banoffee and house red wine were also unremarkable. Given the great selection of places in Malahide to eat, I prob won\'t be rushing back.

Millers Pizza Kitchens
50 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Very well priced early bird menu and nice wine selection. Only negative was the limited desert selection included in the early bird price. The gourmet pizzas are generous, whilst at the same time light and crispy. Great selection of atypical toppings as well as more traditional pizza. Very relaxed and we weren\'t rushed at all. Nice staff to finish it all. I\'ll be back

Siam Thai (Malahide)
1 The Green, North Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

A great location and nice decor. Wonderful buzz here for a Tuesday night. Comfortable seating. Chicken Satay skewer to start and mixed Seafood Salad for main were both tasty and well proportioned. The Seafood salad did have three chilli symbols next to it but had a nice kick without being overpowering so don't be put off by this if you are not a chilli fan. The Tiramisu was lovely and light to finish. Whilst there was a bit of a wait for food between courses I enjoyed the experience and will return.
