MMM!! Went for a family meal here on Sunday. We went for the early bird menu, there was a choice of 2! One was 4 courses for 17.95 and the other was 4 courses for 21.95. Food was gorgeous, presented in beautiful blue and white dishes, hot and very tasty. My brother felt portions were a little on the small side but the rest of us were happy. As with many Asian restaurants, dessert option was limited to banana or pineapple fritter with ice cream, or a selection of ice cream. Fritters were very heavy and greasy, so think ice cream is the better option. Will defo go back!

Visited here 2 weeks ago. It was a Monday, and the place was empty - which meant service was fast but unfortunately atmosphere wasn't great. I went for 5 spice chicken, which as usual was very tasty. Only negative is you have to dig to the end for the noodles! My partner hadn't eaten here before and wasn't overly impressed with the limited menu choices, but felt the food was tasty.

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Ate in TGIs on Thursday for my birthday with my boyfriend. We hadnt made a booking, but when we got there at about 7:30 there were plenty of tables free. Despite this we were told it would be 15 mins for a table ... We went to the bar, but by the time we'd trawled through the cocktail menu our table was ready. Was disappointed to be put up beside a group of about 15 people, who were obviously out for their Xmas party, Anyway waitress was very nice. Ordered cocktails and dinner which came promptly. Wasn't so easy to get the next drink as the waitress was busy ttaking orders from the group. We just went for main courses and a few drinks (mine were non-alcoholic) and the bill came to 80euro! Overall it was a nice meal, but think its a better place to go with a group and indulge in the cocktails! Also noticed a special offer for 20euro for cinema ticket +burger/sandwich +fries+drink mid week. Will defo try this offer out too!

New Good Year Chinese Restaurant
1st Floor Ballyowen Castle Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Got a take-away from here last night. Food itself was fine. However the menus on the counter had a hair on them which the waitress quickly tried to brush off and there was a used plaster on the floor in the waiting area. Didn't give a good impression! That being said food tasted good, fresh and hot :)

Little Venice
Old Airport Road, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Went on a date here on Saturday evening and had a lovely time. We went about 7pm and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good with decent portions, after just a main course we were stuffed. Would definitely go back.

Chapter One Restaurant
18/19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Had the pleasure of dining here at the end of April. We went for the pre-theatre menu, as we were out to see a play in the Abbey. There were 6 in the party, and 2 people had difficulty choosing a mains they wanted. Food was gorgeous though, especially the goat’s cheese and fennel tart! Service was prompt and the restaurant is very nicely laid out and furnished.

My Thai
The Beacon Hotel, Beacon Court, Dublin 18, Sandyford, Dublin

Have been here for lunch several times. Food is very tasty and well presented. Its a little pricey for lunch, but a nice treat now and then! Service is good, although once we were moved from our table twice to another table without a reason given. Staff are friendly and attentive though.
