My wife and I received a voucher for a Wedding present to the value of €50. The menu on the night consisted of 3 courses for €50 so that worked out nicely, we only had to pay for our drinks. We both had the Wexford pudding starter which was fantastic, Black and white pudding served with salad, apple sauce and a mustard dressing. For Main, I had fish, which was also cooked to perfection. My wife had 10 hour cooked beef which was melt in the mouth. I had an apple pie for desert, which had a little too much cinnamon for me. The staff were also lovely, and even ran to the off license to get me a beer after they had run out. The place is a little pokey, we were sitting in a kind of hallway but this is not enough to put me off the place. Over all, the food is fantastic and great value for money however the desert menu is a little limited. I would heartily recommend this restaurant and plan to return in the near future.

I would go back here again. The staff and atmosphere were nice and the price was reasonable. The food was decent enough but not exceptional. I would go back again as it was nice enough but just not amazing. Defo worth a visit if you have not been.

Alba Restaurant
Abbey Quay, Enniscorthy, Wexford

This was my second time visiting this restaurant and I seem to remember enjoying it last time so I was looking forward to going back. The occasion was a belated mothers day present. We arrived at 6:45 and we were advised of an early bird menu which runs from 5 to 7. It was 19.50 for 3 courses which I was delighted with. There were 5 choices for starter and 5 choices for main, with 3 desert options. I had Bruchetta for starters which was nice, a little plain, but ok. My mother had a selection of meats, cheeses and olives which she really enjoyed. For main course I had spaggetti Bolognese which was tasty, I also tasted my mothers smoked chicken pasta which was scrumptious, she really enjoyed it. My favourite was the desert. I had Tiramasu, and it was one of the nicest I have ever had. My mother had a duo of Italian cakes which she also enjoyed. The food and one bottle of wine came to a credit crunching total of 57 euro which was fantastic. The atmosphere was not as good as the last time we were there as the place was empty apart from ourselves, but this was our own fault as we decided to eat early. I would return here in a heartbeat.

The Moorings Restaurant (Riverside Park Hotel)
The Promenade Enniscorthy, Enniscorthy, Enniscorthy, Wexford

Probably the nicest mash in Ireland. Seriously, I have yet to taste nicer mash, and alll mash I get anywhere, howver nice,, is measured against the mash from here. The menu would suit people who are into traditional dining, ie meat potatoe veg. But it is probably the nicest place to get that kind of a meal in Wexford. I had soup for starters which was fantastic. Main cource I had Chicken stuffed and wrappedn in bacon with a lovely sauce. And the mash, the mash. Desert was also great. Atmosphere ok but not brilliant, the lights are so bright. But if I was judging by food alone it would have to get full marks. Not overly expensive but definitely on the pricier side and worth every penny.

Chang Thai Restaurant
Treacy's Hotel, Enniscorthy, Enniscorthy, Wexford

The decor and atmosphere are really nice and its a really comfortable place to eat. Staff were lovely. The value was amazing.€50 for 3 courses inc a bottle of wine. The food is delicious. Chicken Satay and Pork ribs for starters were very good, the crackers and dip they give out are really tastyu also. Thai Green Curry for main was really nice, chicken tender and plentiful. Not my first time here, and would definitely go back.

Taste (Wexford)
1 Selskar Avenue, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford

Went there for lunch with my partner. Place is nice. Service is good. The food was bland. I orderd sea trout and it was just ok and the veg was not great. We also had a desert and this was pretty bland too. Chocolate brownie was dry and not very tasty. I wouldnt return on the basis of that visit. I would sacrifice comfort, service and surroundings for tasty food any day of the week.

La Caverna Restaurant & Wine Bar

Over rated, foodm was pretty ordinary, its ok for the price but nothing like some of the reviews ive seen on here, which did influence my decision to dine here.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Im afraid that I was brought here by my better half as she assured me it was delicious. She was wrong and I left hungry. I ordered a chicken pasta and to say it was bland would be an understatement. Tasteless, crammed with more onion than chicken. I ordered a dessert of chocolate sundae but the ice-cream seemed like it could have been supermarket own brand. To top it all off we got over charged by four euro and the meal was repeating on me all night. I would not go back, I could make better at home.

Galo Chargrill
19 Main Street, Enniscorthy, Enniscorthy, Wexford

Since the last time I was there in 2008 the prices have been reduced dramatically. The food has always been nice and the reduction in price makes it a very good optuion now for lunch or dinner. I reccommend Jacks Baguette, filled with Piri piri chicken, bacon and cheese. The decor is very nice, its a real cosy rrestaurant which gives you the feeling of being out in aportugal. There are lovely spanish tiles and it is well decorated without being cheesy.

Madina Desi Curry Co
60 Mary Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

This restaraunt is probably up there with the nicest indian/pakistani food i've ever tasted. The food is so fresh and homecooked that the same dishes can even vary slightly from time to time but they are always sublime. Pretty much everything is niceand price wise its unbelievably cheap. we can have 2 main poppadums and nan with 2 cokes(they dont serve alcohol - :() for under 25 euro.
