Millers Pizza Kitchens restaurant
50 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 4
Reviewed 01st October 2008 ( visited 26th September 2008 )Millers is the best place in town for pizza's. Make sure you book well in advance as its always busy but it is definitely worth the wait. Cajun Chicken pizza is a must. Pricey but worth every penny.
Tulsi (Dundrum) restaurant
4 Olive Mount Terrace, Dundrum Road, Dundrum, Dundrum, Dublin, Area Code:
Reviewed 22nd August 2008 ( visited 24th May 2008 )Was not happy with the take away we got from Tulsi. Ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala and it was not nice. It had no tikka taste and was watery. I actually thought they had given me the wrong dish so rang them and they delivered another one. It was the very same!! Has put me off Indian food for a while!
Eddie Rockets (Rathmines)
Lower Rathmines Road, South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin
LOVE the Buffalo wings. Food in Eddie Rockets is always tasty and good value if a tiny bit expensive sometimes!! Its a treat on a Saturday on the way home from shopping. Cant beat the mini Chicken fillet burger!
Smyths Cock Tavern Swords
31 Main Street, Swords, Dublin
Used to go here quiet a lot when I lived in Swords and still go there if I'm out that way. Great menu, real pub grub. Generous portions with great value for money. Not sure if the Enchilladas are still on the menu but they were fab. Very relaxed atmosphere. Will continue to go there.
The Gasworks Bar
Grand Canal Street Upper, Ballsbridge, Dublin
Ate Carvery here a few times on a Sunday, always great for good home cooked roast dinners. Nice atmosphere and good quality food.
TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin
This is a place you go to for a treat on a Sunday or before the cinema. Went to the Dundrun TGI last weekend and had a really nice meal. Had the burger which was really tasty. Food can be a bit pricey but theres a good atmosphere and good service.
The Porterhouse (Central)
45-47 Nassau Street, City Centre South, Dublin
This place has a very good atmosphere but a little dark!! Good for after work drinks or after shopping. Their food is always great and portions are perfect. Chicken wings are really good, perfect size. Great location!
2 Sandymount Green, Dublin 4, Sandymount, Dublin
Have been going to Marios for years and have never really had a bad experience. Its exactly what it says it is and nothing more. The prices are very reasonable and the decor is very nice with a covered outdoor area at the back. It can get busy with service becoming stretched but never had a bad meal.
Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Have been here quiet a lot. You may have a wait for a table but it moves very fast. As always the chicken wings are a must but their burgers are fab also. Really good atmosphere.

Really cosy and cute decor. Its a breath of fresh air in compaison to other restaurants in the area. Food is very nice and the service is excellent. Had the Toulouse sausages, really tasty. Perfect for a lunch time treat.
Milano (Dawson Street)
38 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Went to Milano's for a work night out on Friday,24 of us at the table. Service was excellent. Some of the lads thought their pizza's were small but I thought they were fine. Had the Americano, loved it! Will definitely be back.
Doheny and Nesbitt
5 Baggot Street Lower, Baggot Street, Dublin
Go here for lunch quiet a bit as I work on Merrion Square. Always really good, service is excellent. My favourite is the open chicken on granary bread but the chilli baked patatoe is really good too. Will continue to go here.
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Love Saba!! Never had a bad meal and I've been quiet a few times. Phad Kraprow is gorg. The guy who sits you at your table is always very welcoming and friendly. Very handy for a quick meal after work or while your out shopping. Would definitely recommend a visit.
The Dropping Well
Classon's Bridge, Milltown, Milltown, Dublin
I live very close to the Dropping Well and have been there numerous times. The food isn't the best value for money but its very handy. I enjoy their breakfast on a Sunday morning, it always hits the spot and I enjoy relaxing there with the papers afterwards.

St. Stephen's Green, St Stephens Green, Dublin
Often been to the bar but ate here for the first time on Tuesday. Had the Mexican enchilada with chicken and it was fab. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere and prices resonable. Very handy location, jumped straight on the Luas home afterwards!
The Baggot Inn
143 Lower Baggott Street, Baggot Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin
Went to the Baggot Inn for lunch with 5 workmates and had a BAD experience. We ordered burgers but when they arrived all the buns were stale. I said it to the supervisor/manager lady on the floor and she said she'd check with the kitchen. She came back 10mins later and told us that the kitchen had used yesterdays buns! All she offered was tea or coffee on the house which was not satisfactory. The burgers were not edible therefore all we had were the 6/7 chips on the side. When we went to pay she charged for the teas and coffees and took one burger off the bill. The teas and coffees between us actually cost more than one burger therefore we ended up paying more. Wont be back..
Diep le Shaker
55 Pembroke Lane, (Off Pembroke Street), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went to Diep le Shaker with 3 friends last night. Although its not the cheapest place to eat it was just absolutely fab! We had cocktails first and then ordered 4 different mains so we could all have a taste. The service was excellent and the food was fab. Will defo be going back.
208 Lower Rathmines Road, Dublin 6, Rathmines, Dublin
Went here on Saturday night with 3 others and was slightly disappointed. The decor was very nice and the staff were friendly however there was a table very close to us with kids running around and this was at 9pm. We were just having mains and wine but it took 40mins for our food to arrive and one plate was cold when it landed on our table. Portions were very small and although I enjoyed my meal I left there feeling dissatisfied.
