Although it has been a few months since i've eaten in this restaurant I just wanted to leave a review as it stands out as being a really enjoyable experience. The bill came to 140 euro for two without desserts so It's a nice place to go for a special occasion. I'm not a fan of foam and my crab cannelloni did arrive fully foamed so that was disappointing but I blamed myself for nto asking. We both has steaks for mains and definitely recommend it. Service was good as expected and we would go back again before the year is out

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

watch out for offers in this restaurant i wouldnt book B66 for full price again was there with 10 of us before and we paid €70.00 a head and more recently had two main courses for the price of one. food was just as nice and better value. nice looking restaurant with a good atmosphere

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Love this restaurant, have had a quiet early bird on the ground floor and also a girly night out in the basement level. the atmosphere is good and food is very tasty the wine is also good. always tempting to go back for brunch

The Purty Kitchen (Dun Laoghaire)
3-5 Old Dun Laoghaire Road, Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

have eaten here many times, my last visit eneded up costing 58 euro for two main courses one starter and two cokes. I just think there is better value to be got these days. I love their pil pil but I see it as a treat instead of every sat night visit. serice is very good there

Peploes Wine Bistro
16 St Stephen's Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

dying to try here for a long time and prob felt the food would be better although it was nice it was nothing special. service was good and the atmosphere was good for a sunday evening dessert of blackberry and apple was the best part of the meal. Chicken livers not great but fish main was tasty and cooked well just didn't excite

Citron @ Fitzwilliam Hotel
The Fitzwilliam Hotel, St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Scored high on value as dine in dublin week menu was very reasonable. The house wine was lovely and a steal at just €20.00. table of 6 so tried all the dishes on the menu and the food was great. service was great too. Difficult to relax as it was so quiet felt that everyone else could hear what we were saying. would recommend highly

VnV at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel
Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

The food here is always nice but the place is always emply. Very difficult to find a reasonable wine on the list aswell. people working there are lovely but I dine here quite a bit with work and I just wouldn't return for a social night out with friends as the atmosphere just isnt there

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This place is endearing, cant wait to go back, love the little steaks and prawn dishes. My partner had the port just for the occasion but i stuck with a nice wine. It is very initmate but that is part of its charm aswell.

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I had only ever been here before for drinks on a weekend night. Now i think i just prefer to go for food, its quite reasonable and lovely to hear everyone chatting away without music. child friendly aswell

Cinnamon Restaurant at Hilton Dublin Kilmainham Hotel
Hilton Hotel, South Circular Road, South Dublin, Kilmainham, Dublin

Food is good here, like the steak sandwich, also have had the fish and chips on previous occasions and chicken satay. The chilean sauvignon is so good aswell. 15% off food bill aswell if you are a member of livingwell which helps.

Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

I've eaten here so many times and I always have a great exprience. Recently I've frequented it for lunch and recommend the place for definite. It is quite intimate though depending on where you are seated

The Brasserie @ Newlands Cross
Bewleys Hotel Newlands Cross, Clondalkin, Dublin

Never disappoints for a late sunday lunch...wings and singapore beef are firm favourites. Great for a family table for 10 people etc. surpirsed it's never busier.

Il Posto
10 St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

really liked this place, food was great. A little disappointed with the sauce with came with the salmon main course on the early bird menu. mussels starter was great. The house white wasn't to my taste but emjoyed the experience

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK South Anne Street)
5 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Was dying to try this for ages but was so disappointed. The burger was lovely absolutely nothing negative to say about it only it wasn't worth the price. In addition if a burger joint cant get chips right then there is something wrong. Staff were lovely, food was overpriced

Chez Max (Palace Street)
1 Palace Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went to this little place yest evening for the early bird. I loved the music and the ambiance instantly. The goats cheese starter was lovely and the wine was gorgeous. I ordered the mussels as they were recommended by friends. My friend had the chiken and we were both still hungry after. Usually I prefer smaller restaurant portions as they generally are just as filling so it was odd. We shared the strawberry and apple tarts for dessert..I would return but will order a side portion the next time. I knocked a star off as the waitress would not accomadate half chips/half mash, she said I needed to pick one or the other. After working in a restaurant myself years ago i absolutely abide those illogical rules some places have.

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Second chance for this place due to handy parking on a rainy day. Unfortunetely difficult to recommend. The food is poor. Although it's not an expensive place i expect more quality for average of 15euro for a main course.65euro for two people excluding any alcohol isn't very cheap either.BBQ sauce on the wings were overpowering, the enchiladas were tasty and the chocolate heaven dessert was fine but nothing special

Yamamori Noodles
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I really like this restaurant but I don't think i'll be going back as I think it is overpriced for what you get. I know the food is nice and I enjoy going there I just think there is better value for money around. It can be very noisy aswell on the left of the restaurant and reminds me of the sounds of eating in a canteem. There is always a queue here so maybe I'm alone in my view

Ristorante Romano
12 Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I eat here about once a month for lunch and it never disappoints. The restaurant decor isn't great and when I meet my friends there, they nearly always are surpirsed I love the place, yet all agree after eating, the food more than makes up for the interior. Regardless of not being very trendy in its looks it still has a good atmosphere at lunch and I recommend arriving at 12.45 toavoid being turned away. Pizzas and Spaghetti are recommended and the coffee is good too.

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here on a Saturday night with a group of about 10. Everyone enjoyed their meal, ordered from a set menu. By the time it came to leaving we were all in a good mood to kick off the Sat. night dancing as the atmosphere was great. Defitinitely a great choice for a celebration for a group althou we were a bit squashed we didn't mind.

Olesya's Wine Bar
18 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here a few months ago and really enjoyed lazying there for a few hours ordered two lovely wines with the help of the waiter and a few nibbles. My Partner and I enjoyed the food but we weren't really out for dinner and ended up just ordering two charcuterie boards. we paid 80 euro for that so it is steep. We really never felt rushed at all and it is really relaxed in there, I'd recommend it to pop in for a drink afterwork or something too relax with a friend.

The French Paradox Wine Shop & Wine Bar
53 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I Loved this little gem of a place. Although choosing one bottle of wine for only 22euro our bill was still seventy something for two and we really just ordered plates of nibbles to share so it isn't cheap. Had a charcuterie plate, a plate of salmon and topanade bread all delish. Defo great place to hang out midweek for a bit and bottle of wine with a friend. i will be going back definitely and have recommended recently to a friend who has popped in for a bottle of takeway a few times since.

TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Extremely unimpressed the last two visits so I will not be eating in TGI's in Dundrum or St.Stephen's Green indefinitely. The food served up to my friend and I about two weeks ago was a disgrace. Especially for the price of it. At this stage restaurants need to start giving value for the food aswell as increasing the standard of what is being served. Very disappointing and takes the enjoyment out of have a lazy afternoon lunch with a friend on a Saturday. I won't be giving it a third chance

Spurs Family Restaurant
U42 Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Liffey Valley, Liffey Valley, Dublin

The staff were really efficient, helpful and friendly but the food was terrible. The starters of wings were hard and cud really only be sucked, although the favour was very tasty, the mains were very disappointing, greasy and the large heap of overfried onions were really unappealling. I joined this site as I've had really bad quality food served to me recently in Dublin. Spending 40 euro for a unsatisfying Saturday afternoon lunch for two is just a waste of money. I will not be returning I'm afraid
