Went here with friends for the first time for a catchup and have to say im sorry i havent been here before. We were first seated at the drinks area and were severed drinksby the host/waiter and then when we had finished drinks were shown to our table one of the hidden tables behind the curtain. We ordered from the Pre Theatre Menu which i thought had great selection and good value for money. I had the Beef Balls, the red curry sauce was yum sauce was delicious and then the scallop and prawn stir fry which was yummy and then raspberry cheese cake, all in all this place is really nice and super cosy if you get the hidden table, Ill be back soon.

We headed here on a very busy Saturday night. We had to catch one of the waitresses attention to give them our reservation and were seated quickly after. The remaining two in our party were held up at the bar with those waiting on tables, so it can be a bit hectic trying to catch someones attention. Once seated it took a couple of minutes for the waitress to take our order but after the food came out quick and it was delicous, duck spring rolls, lamb and honey coated prawns and for mains masaman and penang curry and jumbo prawns in chilli oil and duck stir fry. We will be heading back again the food is always really good quality.

Wrights Cafe Bar
The Plaza, Swords, Swords, Dublin

We headed here mid week for a bite to eat, threes always a good selection and the foods always of good quality. We order chicken wings and potatoes skins for starters, the wings were really nice and scampi, steak baguette and stir fries for mains. All in all the food was nice for pub grub.

Gourmet Food Parlour Swords
Unit 2 St Fintans, North Street, Swords, Swords, Dublin

We went to this place over the Xmas as we'd gotten a voucher for their afternoon tea which was delicious a selection of sandwiches and Spanish omelette plus a number of miniature pastries served with tea/coffee. The place was buzzing which was a good sign and some of their specials were sold out at 2 in the afternoon. Ill be heading back to try their Tapas night and for lunch again but would definitely recommend bookingas it’s not that big and can be quiet busy.

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

We headed here on a Sunday evening, the four of us ordered from the early bird which was really good value. Wings and Chilli Cheese Nachos were tasty a decent size portion not small and not large and the fahitas had a good proportion of meat and veg. The cheesecake desert was also nice and light, not too heavy . All in all a good value meal for a Sunday evening.

Thai Spice
3A Talbot Place, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

We eat here regularly as its one of the few places near the IFSC where you could have a group lunch for around 10 people in under an hour. We went early than usually on 8/10 12.15 and got really good portions. I think its better to head early before it gets really busy. We enjoyed a mixture of mains, Red Curry, Spicy Noodles, Chicken and Cashew nuts and Sizzling Beef etc All in all a really good Thai, great value and great service.

Nandos Swords
Swords Pavilions, Swords, Dublin

We decided to try here as everyone has been raving about it. When we were seated we were told to head up and order, the waitress didnt give much info on how it works or what the food was like so we just had to work it out ourselves. Baically you take a table and then order at the till and pay and then drinks are at the end of the resturant so is the cutlery and sauces. We had the wings between us cooked medium which were tasty and then 1 chicken burger and fries and 1 chicken wrap and fries, these were tastle less and just basic. Going back again id order their chicken and give the burger and wrap a miss. All in all not too expensive around €28 in total

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Swords)
Pavillion Shopping Centre, Malahide Road, Swords, Dublin

Ive ate here twice recently and have found it really good value when using their 2 for 1 on their website via my phone. We had wings for starters, there was plenty for 2 people would be quite large for 1 and then had 2 burgers one BBQ and one Pesto and shared 1 chips and had 2 large cokes. The downside is that theres an awful lot of sauce on their burgers so maybe ask for a little less and the plus's is the bill it came to around €22 so good value for a Monday night.
