Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant. On the quays hidden in plain sight this place never fails to disappoint. Food is of a high quality, atmosphere is always good. Decor is simple which blends nicely into its location. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are pleasant and professional. We always enjoy ourselves there and go back there as often as we can.

Las Tapas de Lola
12 Wexford St., City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely evening. My girlfriend and I sat outside. It was quite busy which resulted in a very nice atmosphere. We had the Croquetas de jamón. These were my favourite. Next up we tried the Chorizo criollo - definitely different. Not bad but we both wouldn't try this particular dish again. We then tried Chistorra a la plancha which was both our favourite. Definitely would recommend this. Our last dish that we tried was the Potatoes with our house brava & allioli sauces. These, I think would be really nice, however they were served fairly cold to us. If they were piping hot I think they would be really good. All in all the atmosphere and service is excellent here. Food is pretty good, certain aspects could be better. However this would not stop us going back. Pretty good value as well for money. A fun evening!

Gourmet Burger Kitchen - GBK (South William Street)
14 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Cheap and cheerful Monday evening get together. The food is very tasty and the staff are very polite and helpful. A nice place to meet up with some friends and hang out together for a while. The Classic Chicken burger was very tasty. My girlfriend really enjoyed the vegetarian burger. I would recommend this restaurant as a nice, relaxing place in which to meet and catch up with friends.

Meghna Tandoori
8-12 Terenure Place, Dublin 6, Terenure, Dublin

I won a 98FM competition for dinner for two and brought along my girlfriend last Saturday night. It was quite an enjoyable evening. For starters I had the Tandoori Sheek Kebab (sizzling dish) which was fantastic. Really tasty. My girlfriend had the Vegatable Samosa which also went down a treat. For our main course I had the Special Tandoori Mix which was lovely although i was way too much for one person but that is not a bad complaint! My girlfriend had the Tandoori Murghi and she really liked it. We also had some New Zealand Sauvignon blanc to wash it down. The service was very professional, we found all the staff to be very friendly and really welcoming when we arrived. We would both recommend the restaurant and will be back.

Pearl Brasserie
20 Merrion Street Upper, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My girlfriend and I had lunch at Pearl Brasserie last Saturday. The overall experience was fantastic. We stayed just over 2 hours. The service was top class and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The decor in the restaurant is very beautiful and a lot of thought went into the overall design. A must on your restaurants to visit in Dublin list. The food itself also lived up to high standards of the design. For starters my girlfriend had the Crispy Dublin Bay Prawns and I had the Lamb Shoulder Fritters. Both were flawless in their execution and somewhat of a taste sensation. For mains we had the Hake and the Beef Fillet. Needless to say both were very tasty dishes. The best way to review a restaurant is to ask yourself would you come back again. Our answer is a resounding yes, we plan to go back next week and we don't expect to be disappointed.

PHX Bistro

Very nice and enjoyable meal. My girlfriend and I went out for dinner. We purchased a voucher on Menu Pages for the meal which consisted of two main courses and 2 glasses of wine for 19 euro. All in all great value. We were not drinking so it would have been nice to have been offered one starter instead of the wine or soft-drink substitute. We didn't ask, however we do think it would definitely enhance the customer experience if this was offered as a substitute. I had the special 'Hake' as a main course which was stunning and my girlfriend the fried cod which was quite nice as well. Hake was the winning main course. For starter we shared a plate of the spicy Chicken wings. If you are into spicy wings then these are certainly for you. For dessert we tried the brownie and the Espresso Creme Brulee both of which were close to perfection. The restuarant itself is a hidden treasure on the quays. For a Tuesday evening you couldn't find much better in Dublin. Very nice, simple decor and lighting. We will definitely be recommending PHX to our friends.

Shanahan’s on the Green
119 St. Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

Went here with my girlfriend. We both ate from the early bird menu. The starter was fantastic. The main course (Fillet of steak) was cooked very well and you are provided with more then enough side dishes. The deserts were nice if not somewhat filling....! All in all it will be some place that we will be coming back to again.

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Could not find anything to complain about. The atmosphere and service was fantastic. The staff could not be more helpful. We had the early bird (Sirloin Beef is an extra 6 service. All other dishes are 25 euro pp). Well worth it though. Really tasty food and would have no problem recommending this restaurant to my friends. We will be back!

The Tea Room Restaurant
The Clarence, 6-8 Wellington Quay, Temple Bar, Dublin

We picked from the Market Menu. The starters were nice and not too small. The main course was very good. The cod was excellent, however the Beef was very dry. The desserts were fantastic. The atmosphere and friendly staff definitely add to the experience. I would come back here to eat again.
