Love this place. The food is amazing and very different. Plenty of variety.and very very tasty. The service was very good On the down side our tea/coffee was served lukewarm but once we said it to the server the matter was addressed and we got very hot beverages! When our bill came we were not charged for either. Nice touch I thought. My one reservation on this restaurant is that the tables are very close and it is hard to have any sort of private conversation. But definitely wouldn't put me of andI will definitely be back.

Bon Appetit
9 James Terrace, Malahide, Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Went with my son for a Menupages voucher meal on Sunday. the staff had caused a lot of confusion over my booking so was a relieve to find that the actual service was very good. I ordered the black pudding with egg for starters. While the pudding was lovely the egg was overcooked and was not soft. Our mains was steak which was amazing but we ordered chips as a side which were expensive and I felt as there was loads in one side order the waiter should have advised us of such. The people at the next table only ordered one portion!!! I ordered the crème brulee and it had a burned taste of it and so a little disappointing. As this is ione my all time favourite restaurants but on this occasion it did not meet its own high standards.

Fahrenheit Grill
Clontarf Castle Hotel, Castle Avenue, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin

Had the most amazing meal here I have had in a long time. I have eating here before and was not expecting the very high standard of food we received. Something has definitely changed for the better. Service was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. It was a little quiet but then again it was early January mid week! Will definitely return

Locks Brasserie
No. 1 Windsor Terrace, South Dublin, Portobello, Dublin

Just home from Locks after the most amazing meal in a long long time! It is the sweetest most intimate of places. The service was very good but could have been a wee bit friendlier. There was also a group of men in the corner who were a little noisy. But overall a great experience with fab food so I will be returning.

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a Menupages voucher so brought along my pal for a treat. The food was amazing and the service first class. We were not treated any differently because we had a voucher to any other customer which was lovely as its not always the case. it was great value and i certainly will return, The only criticism was that the place lack a bit of atmosphere as it was only half full.

Geisha Restaurant & Bar (Malahide)
Marina Village, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

Went there last night with my friend and we had the most amazing meal! The staff especially the barman were really nice. i lost my bracelet and the waitress came after me with it. The only bad thing i would have to say that it was a little lacking in atmosphere as it was very empty. The food more than made up for this but it was a tiny bit pricey. Definitely on the return list.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Visited this restaurant for my son's birthday. They gave us a very bad table as it was for 4 originally and there were 5 of us. i asked to be moved and this was done immediately. It was extremely busy and the service was a bit slow but the food was amazing. There was plenty of it and it was all served hot. This place never disappoints. My favorite place by a mile.

Fade Street Social - The Restaurant
Drury Street , City Centre South, Dublin

had lunch here today and felt the place lacked atmosphere. I had been there before at night time and it was brilliant. The food was just ok. I had pork belly for starters which was tough and the beef for main course which had a lot of gristle in it. The service was not exactly friendly so overall not a pleasant experience

The Old Schoolhouse (Dublin)
Coolbanagher Church Road, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Visited here with a friend on Wednesday as we had a voucher and it was the last day to use it. The service was very quick and we felt a little rushed! it turned out the restaurant was booked for a retirement party and we were asked to vacate our seats and they brought us downstairs with a free pot of tea. While this was very nice of them I felt we were equally as important as the party and should have at least been told before booking that there was a party, That said the staff were very nice and the food was very very good. Will definitely return.

Pepper Brasserie And Grill
225 Clontarf road, 2nd floor Bram Stoker Hotel, Clontarf, Dublin

Brought my son here for some quality time last nghti The restaurant was very empty but beautiful. This did not bother us as it was a Tuesday night after all. The lady that met us was very pleasant. Starter was fab but when the main arrived it was cold on hot plates. Minus the potatoes which arrived after we were finished. i ordered lamb and had been warned it would be quiet pink. However it was so overdone it was tough as leather. When I mentioned it and staff confirmed that the chef said it was always a tough cut of meat and was not over done?? How come it was not pink then? i was quiet annoyed that they argued the toss but eventually they addressed the problem by not charging for the late mash and giving us a free desert which was lovely. It was also very expensive for an early bird as a lot of things on the menu had euro supplements And you would definitely need these extras. . This restaurant has so much promised but it needs to address the simple issues like HOT properly cooked food. I wont be back.

Gourmet Food Parlour Swords
Unit 2 St Fintans, North Street, Swords, Swords, Dublin

This is a little gem!I It is casual but sweet. Lovely music and great atmosphere.Staff very friendly and helpful. The Tapas were amazing. The only problem was the noisy group next to us who had obviously been in the pub first! i felt they should have been asked to quieten down a bit. But I definitely will eb back.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dublin so was really looking froward to my early bird meal tonight. The atmosphere was great and the service was prompt and efficient. But the food was disappointing. it was different and tasty but not gorgeous. And yes while early bird menus are restrictive I felt the choice was quiet poor. The nicest part of the meal was the dessert. I certainly will go back just in case this was an of night and i do love the place.

The Nuthouse
Howth Road, North Dublin, Clontarf, Dublin

Called for lunch and found a Very disappointing limited menu.Very small and poky . Decor tired. Constant demand for tables so was put under pressure to free up table. I wonder if there was any form of decent competition would it be so busy.

Bel Cibo Smithfield
Unit 11 Block A, Smithfield Market Square, Dublin 7, Smithfield, Dublin

I visited this restaurant last night with 2 friends. They were running a bit late and I was asked 3 times would I like to order even though I explained i was waiting on my friends. Well that set the tone for the night. Each course was rushed and tidied up as quick as possible. At 21.30 we were asked to pay for our meal as they were cashing up. They then preceded to hoover and sort out the chairs and tables but they did say we were not to feel under pressure. We were out on the square at 21.40 having ate 3 courses and tea/coffee. Oh and we started at 20.00 pm. The food itself was nice but the place was freezing and I for definite will not be back. There are too many nice restaurants serving nicer food cheaper and in a more pleasant atmosphere. Not good value.. .

Greedy Goose
15 Townyard Lane, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

Just had the most amazing food in this gem of a restaurant. It was busy and had a great atmosphere. One criticism would be that we asked to switch to a table by the window. We were told we couldnt as it was booked. We though this was strange as itt was not dressed for service. Nobody showed for the table and another group switched to it an hour later. We were not given this option having asked first. But overall we had a great night. The service was prompt but not intrusive. I shll certainly return again and again ,,,,,,,,,,,

Bear
35 South William Street, Dublin 2, South William Street, Dublin

Visited Bear on Friday night with 2 friends. Couldnt find the menus but eventually discovered it on the back of our paper place mats???? It would have been nice to be told this. We each ordered steak and million dollar fries. My friend asked for a sparkling water which arrived in a tiny glass which was hot. The waiter was not impressed when asked to change it. When my steak arrived it was cold and I could not get the garlic butter to melt. The fries were to die for, Just fabulous. Afterward we waited and waited for the waiter to approach us as we were all looking forward to a desert. I eventually called him to be told that on health grounds they did not do deserts in that restaurant. My friend ask him if he thought this was a contradiction in light of the fries we just had? No answer. i then requested tea. To be told a few minutes later that they had run out of tea?? We were charged individually for everything including fries and sauces. It was very expensive for what we had and was overall a very bad experience. We wont be retunrning.
