I had a take-away here last week, one of the items was Dauphinoise potato, it was made up of hard chunks of potato, swimming in cream and tasteless, the lasange was ok in taste but when it was put on to a plate it went everywhere, its hard to believe that this restaurant has a cookery slot on KFM radio station, its on every second wed morning on Noel Shannons Kildare today program, in fairness they could have picked a better restaurant to do a cookery slot with.

The Ballymore Inn
Main Street, Ballymore Eustace, Kildare

came here with a few friends, it was early in the week and we didnt have a table booked, we walked into a restaurant that was almost full and the back bar was very busy too, so we sat down at a table in the restaurant and water and homemade bread arrived soon afterwards, the food was lovely, the service was good, there was no delays and everything came out in good time, the bill came to 119.00 euro for three starters, three main courses, three desserts, three coffees and two glasses of wine, it was very good value and we will be returning.

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I had dinner here last night with a friend, it was my first time dining here, its a nice relaxing bar/restaurant, food was very nice, although the baileys bread and butter pudding could have done with more mixed peel, i was suprised to see rolled up hand towels in the toilets, over all the food, service, wine and atmosphere was good, friendly staff too. value was great €68.50 for two starters, two mains, one dessert, french coffee and a bottle of house wine (santa dign sav blanc) ill be back again.

Town Bar and Grill
21 Kildare Street, City Centre South, Dublin

i attended the menu-pages night out here, i had the anti-pasta plate, poached corn-fed chicken (was abit small) but otherwise nice, and chocolate mousse, the wine and cocktails were nice too, thanks again to sinead for a good night out.

The Dining Room
35 Dawson Street, City Centre South, Dublin

i went along to the menupages night out here, starting off with cocktails in samsaras bar, it was my first time out with sinead and the others, it was a great night out, the pate, corn-fed chicken and creme brulee were all very nice not to mention the wine, the company was also very good at the table in the presence of a few nice ladies, roll on the next night out, thank you to sinead, she was the backbone of it all.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

two of us had dinner here last friday night, the food, service, value and atmosphere was good, however, we did have a bottle of wine which was very nice, but then decided to try a glass of a different wine, the waitress didn't even change the glasses, she poured the new wine into the same glasses as we had drank the first wine from. i thought this was a bit strange, but it won't stop me from doing a re-visit, over all this is a nice restaurant.

Jaipur Restaurant (George's Street)
41 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

this restaurant was recommended to me by a friend, so i booked a table for two and went there, its a lovely restaurant, nice decor, friendly staff and good service, it was busy enough for a thursday night, we both had starters, the king prawns and the chicken wings, both very nice, two main courses were the korma, and again very nice, desserts were chocolate brownie and the kir royale, i had no complaints about anything, i would recomended this restaurant, the cost for two starters, two main courses, two desserts, four beers and one coffee was €104.50 not too bad for a dublin restaurant.
