I find it hard to read some of the negative reviews on tribeca. It is a busy spot that is really popular and serves the best chicken wings in ireland. I just love the place. We were there on a Monday night and as always the place was hopping. Chicken Wings and Burger were tasty and filling, service really good.

Met with a few friends for dinner and although on previous occassions I had not been impressed with the Brasserie, it has much improved. I opted for the vegetable soup which was tasty and homely followed by the Chicken which was very nice too. Portion sizes for main course were huge. I didnt pay the bill but understand it was very reasonable. Great outdoor area overlooking the golf course. Will definitely return sooner.

Il Segreto
13a/b Merrion Row, City Centre South, Dublin

Having been a fan of Bang, I decided to book for 2 in Il Segreto. I wasn't dissapointed. They offer an Early Bird, but we opted for the a la Carte, 2 Main Courses, I had scallops which were cooked to perfection, and my guest opted for the Rib of Beef, we ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir, which was a little expensive, but delicious. We shared a cheeseboard, they staff were attentive and friendly yet not ott, The bill came to around €110 which given the quality and service was good value. I will definitely be re-visiting soon.

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

For something a little more formal in Dundrum, a group of 6 of us popped into Rolys for a bite to eat. The Early Bird offers good value at €19.95, whilst the food was nice enough it somehow wasn't outstanding. Service was good and efficient. I will give it another try hopefully to give it 5 stars.

Invited to Dinner here with real Italian friends. The pizza was soooo... tasty and the base so authentic. I dont normally do Italian food, but this place has converted me. Great value too.

Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

Visited Bijou again recently, a group of 3 of us. We booked a table for the Bistro for 7.30pm. We arrived expecting a quiet atmosphere, the place was full with a lively crowd. I opted for a Mushroom Risotto to start, which was cooked beautifully, followed by a wonderful tasty Rib Eye - all in all perfect Bistro Cuisine. Servings overall were very substantial and the fries were lovely. Our waitress was great, friendly and charming, she recommended a House White which at €19.95 was really good value and our total bill definitely didn't break the bank. We all enjoyed out night thoroughly.

The Saddle Room @ The Shelbourne
The Shelbourne Hotel, 27 St Stephen's Green, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Back to the Saddle Room for dinner, we thoroughly enjoyed our food, the steak was cooked to perfection. Great wine list and excellent professional service. Love it.
