Went for Sunday Luch with a friend here, and ordered a selction of tapas between us - the potato bravas, chicken and rice salad, stuffed peppers and the gaots cheese spanish omelette. Was plenty for two of us,a nd with a glass of wine each, was very reasonable for €30. Service is excellent - no one bothered us, unless to bring food or drinks, we sat there for hours chatting!

I went two weeks ago with a friend for some sushi, we both had Miso soups to start, we got three maki rolls to share for mains (one was the monkfish - special roll - deleicious!) We finished with coffee's and a brownie to share. Fodd was delelicious, and due to the sharing we only paid roughly 20 each. Service is a little bit slow, they don't seem to have enough people working, we were waiting for water, and then again for refills for a long time.

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for a christmas night out with the girls. Had the set menu, which had lots of choice, and was suprised to see there was a fillet steak on the menu - with no extra supplement, as most restaurants seeem to charge. Everyone really enjoyed their food, we had lots of wine, and a few drinks afterwards, we didn't feel rushed out at all. Will definatley be back, and would reccomend for a large group.

Murphys Pub (Tipperary)
Main St. lemore, Templemore, Tipperary

I was working in Templemore for the week, so I had my dinner here. Huge selection on the menu. Decided on the wings to start (not the best I've ever had, but were nice enough), and I had the seafood platter for my main - prawns, mussles, paoched salmon and smoked salmon, and lots of salads, potatoe salad, colslaw etc. Was delicious. Wwaitress was loevly. Finished with a coffee, and whole meal cost 17 euro. Great value.

Ken's Chinese Restaurant & Take-Away
Main st, lemore, Templemore, Tipperary

I was working in Templemore for the week, so I went one evening to Kens for a meal. I was the only person in the restuarant on a Tuesday evening, but the lady running the place was lovely, and kept coming in to check up on me! I had crab and sweetcorn soup to start, tasted queit similar to chicken and sweetcorn! And I had Chow Mein house special for my main - huge portion and quiet tasty. If I have to return for work again, I will definatley return!

The Maigue Restaurant @ Dunraven Arms Hotel
Dunraven Arms Hotel, Adare, Adare, Limerick

Was staying in the hotel, and got a three course meal included with our room price. I had goats cheese to start, was excellent portion size and delicious. My partner had the crab cake, which was very small! We both had the beef 'from the tray' - was tasty but a lot of fat on it. Seconds were offered which partner enjoyed! Sides of veg and mash were deleicious. Desserts were a bit 'too fancy', the atmosphere of the restaurant is homely and relaxed and the menu seemed a bit fussy. Service was excellent.

Novo
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin

Went to use my menupoints, and had a lovely evening. Great location, and great food. We both had burgers which were presented really well, with sauces,a nd chips in a seperate fancy container. Between 14 and 17 for a burger with chips whch i think is good value, considering the locationa dn surrounding. Will definatley return.

Wongs of Castleknock
Ashleigh Centre, Main Street, Dublin 15, Castleknock, Dublin

Went with my parents recently to try out the new 'Special menu' - every evening Monday to Friday and all day Sunday, a 3 course meal plus tea or coffee for the maximum of 22.50 (price depends on what you order) - such good value, as Wongs is reknowned for being expensive. Food was really tasty, and also the house wines were on special, and not just one red and white, a selection for you to choose between for €16. Three course meal for 3 of us with wine cost less than €90. Will definatley be going back - only criticism was the service was a little slow - but at least they weren't rushing us out!

De Brúns
Ashleigh Centre, Main Street, Castleknock, Dublin

Went to dinner party there with about 35 people, so I was prepared for the meal not to be that great, given the large numbers! I had the prawns, and then the monkfish with scallops, nothing special at all, very bland. Some people got the steak on the stone, which was getting, great reports, so i migth go back to try that. Service was terrible, some people had finished their starters about 10minutes before some others even got theirs, would not reccomend for a large party, but I think I willing to give it another go in a smaller group, and try the steak!

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went with friends mid week after work. As always really enjoyed it, I got a chicken rice dish that also comes with miso soup - and only costs 13 euro. Both were delicious. My only criticism is the food can't come at the same time, it just comes when its ready, which is annoying as one person is half way through their starter, when their main course arrives!

Milano (Baggot Street)
1 - 2 Haddington Road, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here again for lunch with a work colleague, had the padana pizza (goats cheese) - was delicious. We sat on the terrace by the canal which was lovely, however I do think its a little bit expensive for lunch - even when ordering off the lunch menu - a sparkling water, coke and 2 pizza's came to €29 before a tip.
