The Leopardstown Inn restaurant
Brewery Road, Stillorgan, Dublin, Area Code: South Co. Dublin
Reviewed 22nd August 2008 ( visited 22nd August 2008 )This place is good for an after work bite to eat and a drink. It is always busy and lively. The staff there are very friendly and efficient. Not a foodies paradise but the menu works well for the clientele they want to attract.
Bridge Street, Skibbereen, Cork
Myself, my husband and my one year old toddler went here for lunch. Our food was excellent, fresh and local and the staff could not have been friendlier. My husband and I both went for fish main courses. You could almost taste the sea, it was so fresh. Our bill came to under €50 .It is always a pleasure to eat in this restaurant when we are down this way. Well done!
Richy's Bar & Bistro
Wolfetone Street Clonakilty, Clonakilty, Cork
was there on a saturday night. consdering the very good offer that's on offer from sundays to fridays, it was packed. the food was tasty, if a little overpriced, the service excellent, the wine list comprehensive. all in all a good experience. will try it again soon.
Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin
Took my husband there last night for birthday dinner. Bitterly disappointed. We had always loved this restaurant but the last two times have changed our minds. We were waiting 40 minutes for our starter and a further 40 minutes for our mains. Our drinks orders were forgotten about twice! The food was tasty although the portions were a bit meagre.the addtional charge for rice/noodles with mains is a bit rich in my opinion but you would left wanting without. Bad value for money and bad service. Will have to do better in these difficult times where people are being choosy where to spend their cash.
McCabes Wines, The Gables, 1 Torquay Road, Dublin 18 , Foxrock, Dublin
went there with my mum and husband. service attentive, atmosphere lively and buzzy. discounted menu offered nice choices. starters were tasty, however main courses left much to be desired. we are not fussy eaters. mum and I had fish pie as evening was cold. disaster - it was totally overheated and the fish was dry coarse, and inedible. we left it behind. we watched my husband eat his tasty fish and chips and not once did someone enquire as to why our food was hardly touched until it came to the bill. it was deducted from the final bill but the expereince left me a little cold as we were not offered an alterhative and as a result left the restaurant hungry! won;t be returning. there are too many other restaruants out there offering good deals and edible food.
Gourmet Food Parlour Dun Laoghaire
7 Cumberland Street, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
I had a wonderful breakfast there two weeks ago. The staff are very friendly. There is a really nice laid back but buzzy atomosphere there. The produce is so fresh and the coffee amazing! Definitely the best breakfast in town bar none!
Alexis Bar And Grill
17 / 18 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
Ate here after work last Thursday evening. Restaurant was buzzing. Had the Fish and Chips, really tasty and good portions. My guest had the Rib Eye which was to die for. All in all, great food, great atmosphere and great value for money. Will be going back.

Uncomplicated Bar Food Menu with heavy emphasis on Seafood. Fantastic chowder and fishcakes to die for!
The Malthouse Granary
30 Ashe Street, Clonakilty, Clonakilty, Cork
Myself and my husband have eaten in this restaurant on several occasions and it never fails to disappoint. The menu is full of local produce, the staff are friendly and efficient and the chef likes to personally recommend a dish if you are unsure! I would whole heartedly recommend this restaurant to anybody.

This restaurant was a firm favourite of myself and my husband until we last ventured there in June. The service was dreadful and the food not much better. It seems that all of it's previous high standards have upped and left. Really disappointed as it was always a regular stop off on holidays.
