Greenes Restaurant @ Hotel Isaacs
48 MacCurtain Street, By the Waterfall, Cobbled Courtyard Close, Cork City, Cork
After a day in hospital for a biopsy, i rang greens restaurant and asked to see if i could still get the earlie bird, because i was going to be late and past the time of the earlie bird menu and i also wanted to change the table from two to four people. they were so welcoming and helpful on the phone and said it would be no problem.when we arrived they gave us a table with a view of the waterfall. from the start to the finish of the meal the service from all staff was nothing but perfect, they were all very helpful, caring and ensured they attended to our ever need. The food appealed to all our senses ,appearance, smell and taste.we were first given a glass with a beetroot foam with natural yogurt and topped with freeze dried yogurt, complements of the chef.then i had my starter of crispy goat's cheese balls served with fig jam, pickled vegetables and beetroot puree. The dish was served on a white plate ,which made the colour's stand out the way the dish was plated nearly made you not want to eat it, as it was like a work of art,but each bit was even better than the next. For main course i had slow cooked beef served with parsnip puree, shiitake mushrooms and jue, topped with potato crisps.the meat was so soft you only had to touch it with a fork and it would fall apart and the mushroom, jue and parsnip puree made the dish have a lovey rich flavor. Then i had dessert i choice a white chocolate and raspberry creme brulee served with homemade vanilla ice cream ,shortbread biscuits and raspberry and mango couli, it was served on a slate and i have to say it was the best dessert i have ever had. On our exit from the restaurant, all the staff ensured to ask was everything ok and said have a lovely evening. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone and i will defiantly be returning again soon. Its first class food in the heart of cork city.

Eddie Rockets (Blackpool)
Unit 9, Blackpool Retail Park, Cork City, Cork City, Cork
the atmosphere in this resturant is nice but anytime i have been there it has been not that bizzy. it is really nice to have your own little area to eat in which is nice and privite.the food is really nice with a large range of burgurs and chicken dishes.it is not cheap at all for what you get that is why i do not got there that much to eat nearly 15 euro for burgur and chips ,even though it is a good beef burgur i still find it a good bit to much.but if there is ever any deals there you should check it out.
Captain America's Cookhouse and Bar (Cork)
4/5 South Main Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork
this resturant is really nice fully of atmosphere and is perfect for parties and special occasions.the staff are really freindly and are well able to cope with large groups of people. the music that is played in the resturant is quite loud so it is hared to hear other people but it is perfect for parties.the food is really good value for what you get so perfect for studients.they have a good rang to suit any taste from burgurs to fish to pasta and even more.i would recommend it to any large group of people.
Paul Street, Cork City, Cork
this resturant is right in the city centre and easy to get to by bus or other transport. Even though it is in the city centre there is still a lovley atmosphere in the resturant, this resturant is very cosy and staff are really friedly and helpful. the food is really nice and not to badly priced eathier. when i was there me and my aunt had fish and chips with home made tarter sauce and mushy peas and everything was really delisous i must say. the only thing i do not like about the resturant is that the tables are very close together so it is hared to have a chat with who you are with . but all in all i would recommend you to go and taste the food you will not be disapointed.
ECO Douglas Restaurant
1/2 Eastville, Douglas Village, Douglas, Cork
the atmosphere in ecos resturant is really warm and freindly.when you walk into the resturant the staff are so warm and welcoming and they alwas make sure you are ok for everything.it is quite small and gets very bizzy but i belive this is because the food is really delisous and brillinat qualitly, also the price is very good with starters from around 3 euro to 6 euro, main courses from 10 euro to 20 euro and desserts from 3 euro to 6 euro. the only bad thing i would say is there is only a bathroom up stairs ,so not good for older people. i have been here many times with my family for birthdays and sometimes just for a lovely lunch or dinner out and i must say i would tell every one to go there at least once.but i will tell you that you will want to keep going back for more.
