Went for brunch without a reservation and were really lucky to get a table straight away! Service was really good and food was amazing. I had the tacos which were completely yummy and my boyfriend absolutely loved his hash dish. While I give this a 5 out of 5 rating as there is no reason to mark down any of the categories.... The only slight negative is that walk-ins get 1 hour and bookers get 1.15 mins with the table. While this was plenty time to eat and have a drink, we kept checking the time to make sure we hadn't overstayed our welcome. Will defo go back as the food is amazing!!

Went to 777 for late night Mexican food and tequilas and absolutely loved it! They do a limited menu from 11.30 to 12am but it was still extremely tasty and perfect service. Was on the expensive side but worth it for a treat.

Whitefriar Grill
16 Aungier Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Place was really busy when we arrived for Saturday brunch which is great, except it gets very noisy very quickly. Food was fantastic, especially the steak (huge fillet cooked to perfection) and was great value.

Il Vicoletto
5 Crow Street (Next to Foggy Dew Pub), Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

We had been recommended Il Vicoletto on several occasions so had really been looking forward to trying it out.... We were not disappointed!! Visited for lunch and even though we were the only people there it didn't feel like we were lacking any atmosphere. Food was amazing with very generous portions. Will definitely be returning for dinner!

Jamie's Italian
Pembroke District, Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14 , Dundrum, Dublin

Overpriced crèche!! Really disappointed with Jamie's Italian. Was full of families with young children which I wasn't expecting at all. Food was good but by no means amazing. Went for lunch and had 2 glasses of wine and 2 beers and bill came to €90!!! Will not be returning!

Visited Etto for Friday lunch and the food was fantastic. Simple yet delicious food. Limited atmosphere but it was a Friday so can't knock it.

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Have been here on many occasions but had not visited for at least a year. Delighted to say that the food, service and value are as good as ever. Went for a casual evening meal and selected many tapas, all of which were delicious. Service was fantastic... Wasn't sure what wine I wanted so I was brought a taster of a wine the waiter recommended - it was exactly what I was looking for. Love that they are happy for you to stay as long as you like. Never feel pressured to leave even when they do have queues out the door. Will definitely be returning.

Pitt Bros Smoked BBQ
Unit 1, Wicklow House, Georges St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I was a real advocate of Pitt Bros after my first visit but after returning for a second time, I was left somewhat disappointed. The food simply didn't taste as good but I will return to try again. Definitely worth a try!

Drury Buildings
52-55 Drury St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here with a large group and while the food was delicious, the service was absolutely atrocious! We felt as though we were disturbing the waitress from something far more interesting that she was supposed to be doing. Not a fan either of the unisex toilets or the fact that there are only three toilets for men and women in the entire place. Would be reluctant to return for food,

Pearl Brasserie
20 Merrion Street Upper, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

There are some really good and not so good points about Pearl. When we arrived, we were offered to go to the bar for a drink first before sitting which we were delighted to do. However, just after receiving our drinks, we were asked to go to our table. It would have been good to know in advance that we needed to take the table straight away rather than being offers something and then not allowed to enjoy it. The menu is a bit hit or miss. There were a number of main courses that really appealed and the lamb that I got was delicious. However, the starter menu was very limited and the fois gras that I ordered was just ok... Not great. Finally, the waiting staff are all very young and don't seem to have been working there very long. When I asked one of the waiters what was in my lamb dish I was told that he didn't know and only one girl on the floor knew what was in the dishes. He did go and get her and she was able to tell me but I think this is pretty bad form for a restaurant of this nature. Overall, wouldn't be encouraged to return.

Farm Restaurant (Leeson St)
133 Upper Leeson St, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited here with a friend on a Thursday eve for a catch up dinner and left feeling a large pinch in my pocket. We went with the a la carte menu as the early bird at €32 didn't seem to be great value. I ordered the Irish charcuterie board and it was very tasty and different. The chicken dish for mains however was quite basic and something that I could easily knocked up at home. The final bill however of €87 was a bit much for the standard of food. Won't be returning.

The Bailey
Duke Street, City Centre South, Dublin

The Bailey serve tapas style food which is very good. The fish and chips is quite a large size portion and while I have been happy with this before, I was somewhat disappointed on my last visit as there seemed to be more batter than fish. The garlic sauce is also very strong and you would miss the peas / tartar sauce. I will definitely return to The Bailey as the location is very convenient and there is generally a good 'buzz' but will try something different next time.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

We went here for new years eve not knowing if the quality and service would be as good as the rest of the year in this restaurant. We came away from Pichet absolutely delighted with our meal and the service was top notch. Rather than having a minimal staff presence, it was just like any normal Saturday night. Our waiter was very friendly (as was the owner) and he didn't mind at all that we wanted a 'slow service'. While there was a set menu, there were plenty of options and the food tasted delicious. Will definitely be returning here again.

Bagots Hutton
6 Upper Ormond Quay, City Centre South, Dublin

Bagots was recommended by a friend and I was keeping an eye out for it (had never seen it before despite regularly going out on South William st). It did not disappoint at all! We arrived on a busy Friday night and were greeted and shown to a seat. I wasn't sure what wen to choose so I was offered a taste which I really appreciated! We ordered a large chutuarie board with cheese and got two huge boards that were absolutely delicious. Will defo be telling more people about here.

Have been here for dinner a couple times and absolutely love the atmosphere and food. For lunch however, the menu is a lot more limited than I thought. Was really looking forward to the nachos but they hadn't arrived from their supplier yet that day :-(. At €7.77 per dish, it is good value but they are small portions so need at least two dishes each.

The Sandstone Restaurant
Lough Rynn Castle Estate & Gardens, Mohill, Leitrim

The Sandstone in Lough Rynn Castle is an absolutely wonderful restaurant that I am looking forward to getting back to at some stage! Started off with homemade bread, the tomato bread in particular was delicious. I chose from the a la carte menu while my partner had the set menu. While the entire meal was amazing, My the starter of pigeon was the highlight. It was absolutely delicious, with the added touch of popcorn with caramel a wonderful surprise! Overall, a wonderful meal that we greatly enjoyed.

Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

This is a really lovely little restaurant with really good & reasonably priced tapas. The calamari in particular was delicious as were the prawns, the chirizo and of course the wine - great selection with very reasonable prices. If you can get seated downstairs, would really recommend this as there is an extra special atmosphere down there. Overall, really happy and will defo return.
