A group of 12 of us here, The food here is really tasty and value for money- the BYO is a great option too. The staff are very friendly and always on hand. My 2nd time here and my friends loved it too and they all want to go back. The special teas and coffees are a perfect finish.

Seagrass of Portobello Bridge
30 South Richmond Street, Dublin 8, Portobello, Dublin

Party of 4 here for the Early Menu 5pm which is great- 2 courses for 27euro and BYO with no corkage- which you cannot beat. I can’t count the amount of times Ive been here however my last time was a little more than a year ago. Understandably it was busy and we were put downstairs- when we arrived at our table all the other tables obviously had an early lunch in as all the table were dirty and looked like the end of a night so was a little put off my this. I have to say ask me last year and I would give the food a 5 star but my lamb was full of fat, my mash was lumpy and cold. The seafood chowder tasted different from I had it previously, like the recipe had changed. My friends food was cold and two had to be returned - and the 2nd time the chicken was well over -done and dry, but the time both my friends food returned I was finished. Felt a little embarrassed as I raved about this place all the time to my friends and while they didn’t admit it I know they won’t return. Could be just the Xmas period (even though it wasn’t busy) but it’s put me off going back.

Very surprised by this little gem. Did not expect it to be busy on a Wednesday but it was! Food was really lovely and our waitress was always smiling and very helpful. Will be going again very soon the BYOB is a great bonus!!!

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Was there for Mother\'s Day, while I understand we were 15 mins late they kept us waiting for over half an hr before being seated, which I didn\'t understand because the place was half empty. Food was quite bland. Ordered the steak and was honestly the fattiest steak Ive ever had. Was near impossible to grab the waitress for a drinks order. Took over 2 hours to get seated and finish our two courses. Shame had high expectations for this place.
