Omigod I love this place. Went for the first time last Sunday after the All-Ireland and it was unreal. Only fault is that I was too stuffed to go out afterwards. Maybe that was my own fault actually... Anyway, just read in some of the other reviews that the lunch special is 8.90! For all that food! Boyfriend will be taking me back here soon :)

My boyfriend keeps making me come here for the carvery when you can get way better food for the same price elsewhere. Food is not awful but not great either. Boys seem to really like eating here but I think it's mostly because of the big screens that show soccer all the time.

Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Almost all the food in Wagamamas is lovely except the Chilli Chicken Men - avoid! Most popular dishes with everyone I know are Chicken Katsu Curry (go for this if you're not used to Asian food) and Steak Teriyaki (boys love this). I usually get Cha Han and ask for curry sauce with it - yum! Next time I'm going to try the Ginger Chicken Udon. I'll let ye know.....

Sweet Basil Thai
Lower Rathmines Road, South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

LOVE this place and how cheap it is but my boyfriend keeps insisting on getting the carvery elsewhere on Sundays for pretty much the same price, which sucks. Seriously though, a proper dinner out for 12.50 is a steal. Not all starters are up to scratch but the main courses are unreal. Think I was a bit generous with my stars except for the value bit cos I felt the place deserved at least a 4 overall so tweaked the categories a few times. Also, the owner made me explain why I was getting a takeaway for one on Valentine's night, which was a bit embarrassing (it wasn't for me I swear!) Boyfriend, if you read this, take me here!
