Went here for late lunch on saturday afternoon. As I walked in I noticed it was busy, most of their tables full of families and friends, young and old, I took it as a good sign. We were seated immediately. Waiter took the orders and the food and drinks arrived in good time. Pizza was delicious! We then got apple pies and ice cream, funky pie, lumpy bumpy desserts to finish. I felt at home here, would definately return, bill came to less than €40.

Aussie BBQ
5 South Richmond Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I could have only ever dreamed of a place like this opening up in Dublin! I have only been once so far. It is phenomenal! Great menu selection, amazing atmosphere, this Aussie style restaurant that puts the 'Summer Bay Diner' to shame! There is a bit of a wait if you want to get a table on the weekends but never fear, you can just get a beer while you wait! And it is really worth the wait. I was really impressed with the prices too, especially the aussie beer prices! I ordered the beast box, which I would recommend to any first time visitors because there is a good selection of meats to try. Next time I go I know I am going to try a burger because that was my favourite thing from the beast box! However it is very hard to go past the kangaroo as that is also delicious! The staff are super friendly and cope really well under pressure, having to deal with long queues! I cannot stop talking about this place to all of my friends and colleagues, I can't wait to go back. Ramsey street don’t have a thing on this place!

Phoenix Park Tea Rooms
Beside Dublin Zoo, Chesterfield Avenue, City Centre North, Dublin

We visited the tea rooms on a sunny Saturday afternoon, the lines for the zoo were enormous as per usual so we thought it would take some time to get some food. I was very surprised that we got a table outside straight away and had ordered the food within 10 minutes of arriving. They can be slow but it’s a park you are not in any rush! I had the vegetarian Panini which came with a small side salad and a coffee. The Panini was ok, nothing too special but the coffee was quite good. It is a really cute tea room and we will visit again.

Druids Restaurant
Landsdowne Hotel, 27/29 Pembroke Road, Ballsbridge, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Cant beat an amazing carvery for €5.00 on a friday. This is my favourite secret spot in Dublin. I dont even think I should be mentioning it on here as I want to keep it a secret! We see the same people come here every week, it's local, it's super friendly and the roast beef is fab!

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu
38-39 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

As usual we were seat ed immediately, green tea was served up and the menu's already on our table. It's always so hard to choose what you want here as it all tastes so good. This particular night we ordered the sushi handrolls and sashimi... with a good whack of wasabi! Waiters are always very polite and I love the look of the kitchen as there just seem to be so many chefs working away. I've eaten here more than any other restaurant in Dublin, I think it's just the standard that you can always count on, it's never a dispointment. I will be visiting Yamamori again very soon.

Shangri-la Malaysian Chinese Restaurant
16 Stoneybatter, North Dublin, Stoneybatter, Dublin

I often walk past this restaurant but on this day I had stopped in here for a quick bite.. I had the lemon chicken with rice, my friend had a dish of spicy mussels/veg and noodles. This was by far the best lemon chicken I had had in a long time. I also tasted the mussels, they were very nicely cooked and the sauce was tasty. The waiter was very friendly and polite. The restaurant itself could do with a fresh lick of paint and I really hope they get rid of those fibre optic multi coloured light things they have attached to the ceiling, they are a little outdated. Overall the food was absolutely delicious and I will definately be back!

Cafe Hoggar
93-94 Manor Street, Stoneybatter, Dublin

I am a regular to this cafe and I won't go anywhere else for breakfast in Dublin. There are 4 or 5 different 'fry up' options and they all include your tea (pot) or large coffee for around EUR6.50 - EUR7.50. They also have Bagels, omlettes etc too... but I almost always get the vegetarian breakfast, they do the grilled tomato just right and hash browns are amazing! I have been to this cafe on more than 10 occasions, the quality of food and hot drinks are consistently good. I've never felt let down, the waitress there is super nice and always has a smile on her face! They have a big flat screen on the back wall too so you feel like you are in your lounge room! Highly recommended!

Broadway New York Eatery
Unit 6, Custom House Square IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

I work in the area and have been going to broadway for 2 years, it's a dependable, pocket friendly, new york style pizza parlour with the best service team I have come across in dublin! I rate this restaurant very highly. It's a real favourite of mine! Today I had a Ham and Mozzarella calzone EUR8.00 and added mushroom EUR0.50 to it (well worth it for added flavour, very nice mushrooms!) and a diet coke EUR1.00. Total cost only EUR9.50! Great place for a chat with your friends and always has a fast service time! And serves peroni beer (bonus!). Will be back next week guys! See ya then!

Toss'd Noodles & Salads
Chq Building, Dublin Docklands, City Centre North, Dublin

Great healthy lunch, I got a thai crab salad today, it was 10/10. Toss'd is a bit pricey so can't go every week unfortuantely. I think they should reduce the salad size and drop the price for take aways. The place was so full today you couldn't get a seat! Doing a roaring trade in the chq centre, the line was out the door. Get in before 12:30 to beat the crowds!

Seven
73 Manor Street, Stoneybatter, Dublin

Had the 15.90 two course meal, me and my partner both had the irish angus 10oz steak... so succulent and the red wine jus and onions complemented the dish. Baby potates were delish... the best i've had in a while! Ask for the vegies instead of salad (it was a few leaves of rocket and italian style leaves). 9/10. Eton Mess for desert was very nice too. Nice trendy restaurant setting a trend in the batter!
