Myself and my boyfriend went here last night and it was amazing. We tried the takeaway last week which was the best indian we've had so we made a point to visit the restaurant. We tried different food but it was still all fantastic. We were both really impressed. The service was great, staff very friendly and attentive. The price was very reasonable and i absolutely love when you get a drink on the house, its old school but priceless in my estimation. We will definately make this a regular haunt!

Osprey Hotel and Spa, Devoy Quarter, Naas, Kildare

I came here on a friday evening with a party of 4 and it was amazing. We had a booth seat facing the fountain which was lovely and it was nice and cosy and private. The food was delicious, not too pretentious, fancy but very tasty - the lamb in particular. The staff were very attentive but not smothering and the service in general very friendly. This is definately a restaurant for a special occasion and i love forward the excuse of going back there again.

Fallon and Byrne

We went here on Valentines night and despite everyone saying its a bad night to go out for a meal i was delighted with this restaurant. The decor is elegant & classy yet cosy, we sat at 9pm so were left to dine at our own leisurely pace, never rushed but the staff were really attentive. Lovely cosmo to start, and minty choc dessert cocktail to finish with a great meal in between. The food was gorgeous, the big test being my boyfriends steak as he's very particular but it was perfection, the only thing was the menu a little small but i'd rather that than poor food. All in all a great meal and we'd definately go back.

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Four of us came here on Friday night for the first time and it was great, between the four of us we sampled all parts of the menu, chowder, muscles, prawn, pizza, steak and salmon - all delicious! The ambience was really relaxed and with the spanish guitar and candles it was romantic but we were in a gang and it was just as suitable. The waitress was really sweet, very friendly and nice and the service was quick but the food wasn't pushed on us, we didn't feel rushed. Definately coming back and will recommend to friends.

Roly Saul The Restaurant
The Mill House, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Myself and my boyfriend ate here last night, admittedly we just popped in for a main course to check the place out. I was delighted with my food, had the salmon served with tapenade, it was really delicious, even the green side salad was perfect, my boyfriend who is a big steak fan ordered his medium rare but it came over cooked and covered in sauce, we're big believers tat if a steak is good it needn't be covered in sauce, it came with skinny fries made from real potatoes which was great but sadly they were undercooked, the service was really good though and the decor lovely. The music was a nice jazzy theme, very nice vibe to the place. They do an pre theatre early bird that looks great value but sadly we missed it as you need to be there before 6.45pm, i'll give this place another try, maybe next time with the girls for the early bird so its better value for money!

Avoca Cafe (Suffolk Street)
Avoca, 11 Suffolk Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here for lunch today and the food was delicious, we started with the mango and green tea - really refreshing! Then we shared the artic charr with dip, seafood pie and the pasta of the day and all split the giant chips, broccoli and feta side salad and the rocket, pine nuts and parmesan side salad, all very tasty, the waitress was really friendly and it was great value for money, only €90 for three mains, three sides, three coffees and two sinful desserts. The only thing was that the service was incredibly slow at times, okay if your soaking up the leisurely atmosphere but a little frustrating when you're left without desserts or drinks.

I just love this restaurant and everytime I go back it never disappoints! To start the pre and post dinner cocktails are amazing, the toblerone one is not to be missed. The atmosphere in the bar is very chic and modern yet this is mixed with classic dark wood and traditional thai style. The dining area has a buzz and an openess but the booths give a sense of intimacy too without feeling smothered, the place also has a couple private rooms which i've been into once - very VIP feel to it! The food i love, massaman lamb is a favourite, but anyone i've brought hasnt been disappointed, altough its not wise to underestimate the spicy dishes, they have some kick! The staff are really friendly and personable and i've always been really well looked after anytime i've gone here. Cannot fault this place!

Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

First time visit was amazing, the location is a little difficult to find in the dundrum centre as their signage is minimal, probably the centre's restrictions. It wasn't a cheap meal but was definitely value for money. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly and attentive
