Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here to unwind when my daughter was in hospital and both of us did not enjoy it. Firstly we were seated so near another couple, we could not speak if they were speaking!. Secondly my husband got 3 olives in the starter of olives, far from impressive at over 5e. Staff were pleasant though but we will never go back.

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I just loved this place. food was superb, they slipped up on service just, i was given the wrong dinner and was told it was correct, we got this corrected my asking different staff. The manager also apologised. Hubby ordered irish coffee three times as the bar man kept forgetting, so that took at least 45mins to arrive so the manager gave it complimentary. I still loved the evening and cant wait to go back!.

Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

Nice restraunt but quite overpriced so dont go to often because of this.Service can be an issue as there is a language barrier so when you order red wine you might get red wine gravy, even though you have your nearly empty wine glass and pointing at it for a top up!. Veg forgotton with the meal too so defo could spruce up the service end and value but really tasty food. Meal for two with wine is about 110e.

Howards Way (Rathgar)
8 Orwell Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

I really like this place for breakfast. The whole tables thing has put us off an evening dinner there as you simply cant have a private conversation, its a case of stop talking to let those beside you talk if you get the middle table. You need to ring days in advance and book a private table if this bothers you. Not ideal for families. Great staff though and good food!.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I found the food very boring and the peppers were massive in the fajita just couldnt eat them like that so didnt touch them, vey off putting, we were given size like quater peppers when they should me very thin. way too much oil in the sizzle pan aswell, we showed this to the manager. I wont go back here as there are other places much better food and much better value, it was twice the price of our last mexican which tasted a lot better that made our minds up. Value and quality are the main ingredients.

Brasserie Restaurant
Hilton Hotel Kilmainham, Inchicore, Dublin

A group of us ate here and the food was appalling 3 of us sent ours back one was a steak and two pasta dishes. My father in mother in law sent their meals back around 4 weeks ago and the manager agreed that the food was sloppy and that the chef was leaving. The chef since has left so will eat there again and re review it.

The Martello (Bray)
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

I ate here twice. The food is delicious. Cannot understand the problem with the service, so so slow. My husbands drinks were forgotton by over 15minutes on both visits. Its a pity when the food is so good that this pulls it down. I will definetely eat here again.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Liffey Valley)
Unit 40B, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

I have been here a few times. I find its just ok. In liffey valley we were served cold dry chips. They charge for the extra sauce even though my burger was served far too dry, have not been back since, its junk food with a fancy name.

Pizza Hut (Dundrum)
Unit CSA, 2M Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

I find service very slow, to the point one of us has to get up to get service. Its not good value as pizza and two drinks is well over 50e now each time so we stopped going, we found local takeaway was way better and less greasy. I have now stopped using pizza hut and used to love it.

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I went here with 9 of us for my hen night. It had a fantastic atmosphere, the food was great, the music was great, the staff were great fun. Just a bit pricey as you can see on the menu, Would highly recommend it overall though. More suited to a group than a table for two though.

Gotham Cafe

Ryan's & F.X. Buckley Steakhouse Parkgate Street
28 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8, City Centre South, Dublin

2nd visit here and was so disappointed. I did enjoy the pate starter but the sole was dreadful and dried from being over cooked. My husband ordered steak and it was fine, the few mushrooms were 3.50 which is mad and they were reheated shrivelled up and chewy so wont go back now.

The Bull & Castle and F.X. Buckley Steakhouse
5-7 Lord Edward Street, Christchurch, Dublin 8, City Centre South, Dublin

I ate here with a group of eight. I ordered salmon, it was served dry, i asked for sauce and was told a gastropub doesnt do sauce and handed a packet of tarter sauce. I left most of it behind. The wedges we shared were awful too. My husband ordered fillet steak which was rolled in a ball and charred! Destroyed. None of us would eat here again!. Big price on substandard food.

Rolys Bistro

I havent eaten here that often, but was there with my family, about 8 of us. Just couldn't fault it.

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

What can I say, this has been my favourite for years. Just hard to get a booking on a saturday night as it's so popular and deservedly so. No faults, great food, great atmosphere and just a treat to eat out here! Just go there for a night of fine dining!

Tippenyaki
39 Castlewood Avenue, South Dublin , Rathmines, Dublin

This is a very pleasant place to eat. It has a lovely atmosphere and it's great to watch your food being cooked in front of you. I had a good laugh watching the skilled chefs toss the food over the grills. I would like to see a little more on the menu with more variant also for vegetarian. The restraunt had a romantic fell and was very clean. I will be back soon! Great for parties!
