We have been so often that the value menu is predictable but always good and beautifully presented. A lovely buzz of people enjoying their night out. Staff very cheerful and attentive.

Girl & the Goose
1st Floor, 10 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin

This was really excellent. We couldn't fault anything. The food, the presentation, the value, the service- the waitresses were so friendly and pleasant. Unexpected extras included an 'amuse bouche' to start and a delicious truffle with our coffee. We had a voucher but the value for the 'neighbourhood menu' is terrific anyway and we will go again.

Fade Street Social - The GastroBar
4-6 Fade Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Excellent service. Interesting dishes and full explanation given each time one was brought to the table. The beer was very nice too. There were lots of staff, all very busy, so it was a pity that there weren't more customers. We were there from 12.40 to 13.40

We couldn't fault this experience. Beautiful food, superb value, faultless service, and a great buzz in the place- everybody obviously enjoying themselves.

Etto Merrion Row

Can't fault this lovely place. Such a warm, friendly atmosphere. Exceptional complex tastes in the dishes. Pre-theatre dinner great value but you'd better book. It is very popular.

Rolys Bistro

Superb service. All the right sort of attention without being invasive. Food lovely and nicely presented. Everything perfect in the restaurant upstairs, including the facilities. One small criticism, I missed a bin for tissues in the downstairs 'Ladies'

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Food - perfection. Also, it's great to have guidelines as to health properties and general calorie content on the menu. Finishing off in the cocktail bar upstairs was an extra treat.

101 Talbot
Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

It was an early meal so there weren't too many other diners which would have added to the atmosphere. We felt a little cold where we were but have been before and had no complaints. Service and attention excellent

Smyth & Gray's Restaurant
1A Crow Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

Lunch for two. The food was exquisite. Each mouthful worth savouring. Starters of chowder and ginger shrimp, mains - one of perfectly seared tuna ,and the other slow-cooked belly of pork with mouthwatering scallops, celeriac, crackling, wafer-thin black pudding -most unusual...I could go on. A meal to remember. The surroundings and decor are smart and the music very pleasant and unobtrusive. The reason for the shortfall in my mark for atmosphere is that there was only one other group there. All I can say is, people are missing out on a fine dining experience at very reasonable prices.

Lovely experience, beyond expectations. Would definitely return. Plenty of diners for a Tuesday night, all evidently having a good time!

Bridge Bar and Bistro
The Malting Tower,, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

A lovely experience. Interesting location but a bit off the beaten track for city centre. However, very handy for Bord Gais Energy theatre and would definitely go there for a pre-theatre meal if going to a show because that is excellent value. Also I have to say we got superb value on the à la carte menu because we had a voucher. From the delicious breads to start with, the tastes were exquisite and the service excellent.
