I eat here regularly, you cannot beat their steak on a stone special, especially mid week for 15/eur. Be warned though, its big, and comes with side portion of chips and onion rings! I've not had a bad steak yet, and have been to lots more exclusive steak restaurants where I've felt they weren't nearly as tasty . Great pub grub

Okra Green Castleknock
Unit 1, Village Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Castleknock, Dublin

I thought overall the food was very nice, however service was a bit patchy by times. Had bought a menupages deal and was disappointed to find terms and conditions that weren't called out on the voucher itself, any prawn or seafood dish was an extra €3. I did have the prawns to start and they were tasty but it really should be made clear in the t&c's.

Bay Restaurant
369 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Had a lovely lunch here with 4 friends a few weeks back, place was very busy and we were early but they still managed to squeeze us in before our table time. Food was amazing, I had calamari to start and it was delicious and the bang bang chicken for main - this was so flavoursome and filling, I didn't feel at all like I was choosing the low calorie option! Love the fact that the nutritional information is on the menu, gives the chance to make an informed decision on what you are going to eat which is great

Lovely food and great value, staff could have been a little more attentive though. Overall though I\'d completely recommend

The Ivy @ Dunboyne Castle
Dunboyne Castle Hotel and Spa, Dunboyne, Dunboyne, Meath

Overall, I thought the food and service were excellent - I had the goats cheese salad to start which was lovely, then the monkfish risotto which was absolutely amazing. I went for the cheese board to finish, very generous portions, couldnt get anywhere near finishing it. Only slight complaint would be that the food came out very quickly, then at the end when setting up we were using a voucher which had been given to us as a gift - the voucher included a glass of wine each, we had ordered a bottle of wine with the dinner and a gin and tonic to finish and had a taxi arriving so didnt have time to squeeze in another glass of wine. They advised they couldnt put it off the gin and tonic which was fine, we said we were happy to leave it - however, they then realised they hadnt put on the steak supplement and rather than just offsetting it against the free wine added it onto the bill at the end - felt that was a bit unnecessary and took away from a very pleasant evening otherwise.

Beautiful food and very friendly service. Ate here for a family birthday, there were 7 of us in total, we were really looked after and every single person raved about their food, delicious!

Sika Restaurant
Powerscourt Hotel Restaurant & Spa, Powerscourt, Wicklow

Wow. Amazing location, amazing food and amazing service. We brought my in-laws here for a birthday dinner and really couldnt find fault with the place at all. I had the scallops to start which were divine, monkfish for main and then I had quite possibly the best dessert i've ever eaten. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, all in all, thoroughly recommend

Citron @ Fitzwilliam Hotel
The Fitzwilliam Hotel, St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Amazing food. Myself and my boyfriend ate here on Saturday night after getting an amazing deal on menupages. The staff were very attentive, but not in your face at all which was nice. They started by bringing us out the most inventive amuse buche I've come across, a chip and dip done like a line of washing and washing basket, it looked brilliant and tasted yummy too (although you would want to like garlic!) We both had the pea risotto with chorizo and squid to start - it was one of the nicest things i've ever eaten, really delicious. I had the baby chicken then for main, while he had the study of beef - both were gorgeous, the chicken was done on a bed of lentils, i found it very filling even though when it first came out i thought it looked a bit small. My boyfriend was impressed with the quality of the beef and polished it off with ease! For dessert I went for the Monte Carlo which I cant rate highly enough - just beautiful. Himself went for the Apple Trio which did look really nice also, but i was happy I stuck with the chocolatey goodness! Considering I've eaten not so long ago in the Fitzwilliam's other restaurant Thorntons I have to say I much more enjoyed both the food, relaxed atmosphere and not so fussy staff. I would thoroughly recommend.

Taste of Brazil
32 Parliament St, Temple bar, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Disgusting. I went here with my Mum last week on a groupon voucher. Starters were greasy and unpleasant, went for the steak main course, steak was gristly and overcooked, while my mums came with roast potatoes and veg apparently. The roasties and veg were obviously frozen. Staff were pleasant enough, but put simply, do not go here for good food.

I ate here yesterday for their lunch special and have to say it was absolutely fantastic! For €16 it is an absolutely fantastic deal - a starter of either veggie or meat indian tapas - I chose the meat option and they were gorgeous! Then had the goan prawn curry which was beautiful - you could choose either a biryani or a selection of different curries in the deal. Then either tea or coffee to finish off. A brilliant deal for the quality of food we were given. The staff were really friendly and polite also - I was disappointed to see there were not too many people in the restaurant though, shame to see a gem like this not packed to the rafters!

I have eaten in this place a number of times now, without a doubt my favourite Thai restaurant in Dublin. The food is absolutely fantastic, the staff are very friendly also
