Love this place and lucky to live close by. Fresh produce, meat counters, chicken rotisserie & fresh bakery. Salt restaurant have eaten several times with friends & family always requires a booking at weekends. Menu changes frequently as attracts a lot of regular clientele. Not cheap, moderate to expensive for dinner for two with wine and dessert but a really nice treat or gift. Have eaten the Monkfish & Hake on dinner menu, Rotisserie Chicken & Caesar salad on lunch menu, beautiful presentation and service 5 Star.

Rage
65 Main Street, Blackrock, Dublin

Party of three we had the early bird menu two course €23 or 3 course €28. We ordered Crostini, Chicken Liver Paté & Crispy Brie Parcels all happy with our starters. Main course Pan-Fried Breast of Chicken was delicious x 2 and 1 x Grilled Breast of Chicken Superfood Salad. 1 x Chocolate Brownie and 1 x Herbal tea and 2 x Americano's. Server was very friendly and food was prompt from the kitchen. Would definitely visit again and recommend!

Indie Dhaba
21-26 South Anne Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Went with a large group for dinner at 7:30pm, ordered glass of pinot grigio and a main course Malawani Prawns & side of Peshwari Naan Bread. Service was extremely slow main course was served at 9:30pm. I was almost the last person to receive my main course after asking where my food was, was served small dish of prawns total of 5 with no rice €18.90. I requested Pilau rice which did not come with the meal extra charge €3.50, and portion of Naan bread €3.50. Service was not good and staff were rude would not repeat the experience not worth the money. Better Indian restaurants out there.

The Bistro at Ella
7 Main Street, Howth, Howth, Dublin

Two of us for dinner, we had menupages voucher due to expire. Bit of walk from dart station and uphill (take 20 mins if your fit, 30+ if your slow). Check the directions as Abbey street is where you have to take turn up the hill towards RC Church and close to Centra & Pharmacy at junction on right hand side. Nice bright restaurant and had a window seat table, very pleasant server and food was very good, had crab cakes & pear, walnut & cashel blue cheese salad to start followed by chicken stuffed with apricots and parma ham, very good choice followed by coffee and carafe of wine. Total €78.50 - voucher = €28.50 not incl. tip. Early Bird 2 course available for €17.95 but not applicable with vouchers.

Carluccio's Caffe
52 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

A place to eat or catchup up with friends, nice place and busy spot. Food tends to be good, have specials. Two of us ate here and after waiter spending time reviewing wines we selected a nice bottle of red and both had seafood pasta. Pasta on this occasion was a little disappointing not a lot of flavor but have had good food here on other occasions. Price range moderate. Service generally good.

Dunne And Crescenzi (South Frederick Street)
14-16 South Frederick Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

A group of us ate here, food and menu is good. Authentic Italian, wine and great cappuccino's. For starter ordered Bruschetta al Pomodoro at €5.50 to share, pasta special for around €15 and cappucino. There was a bit of mixup at the end when the waitress had charged for an extra dessert and glass of wine which had not been ordered. So a bit embarrassing for all with the bill as everyone had put in their share and was still short until we itemised bill but all sorted in the end. Good location if shopping in city centre or a night out.

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here with a group of friends, we ordered white wine but not great so changed to beer. Ordered from Early Bird Menu, kebabs for starter and Hake for main course. Food was good, love the ambience and decor, staff not the friendliest don't like groups ordering from different menu. Otherwise would recommend as a good dining experience. Prices moderate.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen - GBK (South William Street)
14 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

After the Dublin City Soul Festival went with another friend to eat & drink here and sit out and enjoy the sun. Staff friendly and accommodating, had a few beers, chicken fingers followed by Blue Cheese burgers for €7 very tasty. Have a special offer Burger, Fries & Drinks for €9.99 good deal. Nice casual place to grab food when in city centre, prices good and very central across from Grogans.

DIG IN
19 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

Have eaten here twice. Met with group of 16 friends last Wednesday, the upstairs section also has outdoor section for drinks and smokers. Great spot, cocktails €9 and main courses for €10 & €14. Had the Beef Bourgignon was very good and generous portion for €14 followed by Apple & Gooseberry Crumble dessert €5 to die for..the cheesecake also looked great. Great ambience and service was excellent so would definitely recommend for anyone on budget looking to have a good dining experience. Gets the thumbs up!

The Vanilla Pod Eatery
The Iveagh Mall, The Park, South Dublin, Carrickmines, Dublin

Eat lunch here once a week if not more. Food generally good, tip: soup can be salty. Good choice on menu but service slow if eating in. 35 minute wait to be served lunch with booking, no apology for slow service from server and not overly busy on this occasion. Plenty of staff but the customer service could do with improving. Prices are moderate. Location in Carrickmines Retail Park at back of carphone warehouse.
