Sous Le Vent restaurant
Parnell Street, Thurles, Tipperary
Reviewed 06th January 2010 ( visited 10th December 2009 )I went here at the start of December to celebrate my graduate and it was fantastic! I rang in advance to arrange a set 3 course menu for €30 per person and they supplied a wonderful, varied menu, 6 choices of each. We also had wine which was very reasonably priced. The two guys that run the place are so friendly and warming making sure everything runs smoothly. We were a party of 7, and everyone really enjoyed the food and the relaxed atmosphere. There was also a large work party in that night, but we didnt feel over looked by the staff for the bigger party which was nice :-D This was my second time there and I will definatly go back again!
Galileo Cafe restaurant
Church Street, Cahir, Tipperary
Reviewed 05th February 2010 ( visited 14th November 2009 )I like this restaurant there is a good atmosphere and you can bring you own wine which really cuts down on the bill! Most of the food is very nice, however, I had the lasagna once and it was very watery and not very filling. The steak is very nice. I must try a pizza next time I am in.
Milano (Temple Bar)
19 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
I went with my friend for his birthday. We both had pizza's which were nice. And when the waitress heard me mentioning it was my friends birthday she brought out a little bowl of ice cream with a candle which i thought was nice. It was really really cramped though!!! I felt like we were stuck to the people next to us which I didnt like. Staff were friendly though.
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin
Really lovely place. They had no problem taking our menu pages voucher for the cocktails. Which by the way were amazing!!
Shimla Indian Restaurant Thurles
Friar st, Thurles, Thurles, Tipperary
I got a take away from here and it was really good! The food is very tasty and good value, while it may not look like that from the menu. It is more expensive then a chinese, dishes are priced between 9-12 euro for take away, but this will more then be enough for two, especially if you get a starter to share as well. I have eaten in here before, its a lovely restaurant to have a meal in. The staff are friendly and its easy to relax in here. Also you get a free shot at the end!
Kambo Chinese Restaurant
Cathedral st, Thurles, Thurles, Tipperary
It is usually just a take away I get from here. I don't think its anything special. The food is nice but not my favourite in town. I don't like going for a meal here, the staff hover over you!! And every time I have been here I've had to wait for our table to be ready. On one occasion we, a group of 10, waited 45 minutes, in the tiny reception area. They took our order from here and we weren't even given a complimentary drink for waiting so long!!
Skillet Pot Restaurant
Slievenamon Road, Thurles, Tipperary
I went here for lunch. It was great. The soup was very nice and the biscuit cake was fantastic!
Four Seas Chinese
Old Baked St. Thurles, Thurles, Tipperary
I really like the food here. I mostly get take aways but I have eaten in the restaurant to. The meat always tastes fresh and not a little slimy like in some chinese's. The staff are very friendly and don't pester you, but are still very attentive. It is a small bit quite, however, this is not a reflection on the food! It is purely because of their location.
The Brasserie @ Leopardstown
Bewley's Hotel Leopardstown, Central Park , Leopardstown, Dublin
I visit here around once a month for lunch. The sandwiches are very fresh tasting and come with a large helping of crisps or salad, the salad dressing is really nice! Sandwiches are €5 and they will put as much as you want into it!
Baan Thai (Leopardstown)
Central Park, Block P, Dublin 18, Leopardstown, Dublin
The food here is alway good and to a high standard. I the duck with vegetables and the beef with brocolli are my favourites and are very tasty. I didnt like the pad thai, it is chicken pad thai, but in my opinion, it tasted quite fishy.

Paul Street, Cork City, Cork
I went here with my sisters after a day of christmas shopping and it was fantastic! We shared starters and each had a main course, I had the fagitas which were amazing!! We had a few bottles of wine between us as well and it all came to around €30 each! Which I thought was very good value
Murphys Pub (Tipperary)
Main St. lemore, Templemore, Tipperary
I have been here many times and it is always lovely. Its good value to, most starters are around €5 and mains are €11-18. I often get the soup which is always lovely. Sometimes the mashed potato isnt great, there is too much pepper in it, but other then that I have no complaints about the food at all. Most of the waiting staff are very friendly and helpful. The bar manager is very good, he runs a smooth ship and keeps everything running as it should.
The Square, Cahir, Cahir, Tipperary
I went here with my boyfriend and his mother, it was very nice food, we all had roast dinners. There was plenty of food, I couldnt finish half of it! The atmosphere was good, there were a few people in for lunch. I would reccomend it
Church St Cahir, Cahir, Tipperary
I get a take away from here pretty often. The food is really nice and really good value. If you are sitting down in here I don't think there is a good atmosphere, its quite old and grey looking. Food great though!
TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin
It was ok. There was no atmosphere and the waitress was a bit pushy for my liking. We had just sat down and she wanted our drinks order, when she returned with the drinks order she wanted our food order, I wasnt ready to order so she just waited there! and I had to decided really quickly. The chicken wings were very nice. The burger was nice to, although a bit burned. The Mozzarella sticks however werent very good! They seemed like they had been frozen and the sauce with them was a pasta sauce!! Very good value though as we got the two course meal for €15. I wouldnt be mad to go back any time soon though. Also they already add on a service charge. I don't like when places do that!!
