Had a brilliant night here with my girlfriend before the cinema. Try the steak, it is a great piece of meat to fill the stomach to keep the edge off the hunger before a long movie. The mash is some of the best around. Great place

Tenors Grill Room (Naas)
Fairgreen Street, Naas, Kildare

Ate here recently and I think that its brilliant. The food is very good quality, the staff cannot do enough to help you and the price is unbeatable. It's hard to believe the quality of food that you get for the price. I loved it and will eat again.

Toss'd Noodles & Salads
Chq Building, Dublin Docklands, City Centre North, Dublin

Fresh and tasty noodles and rice dishes- a nice change from the usual lunch spots in the IFSC. The portions are huge- maybe a bit too big for lunchtime! My only complaint is that if you arrive for lunch after 12.30 there's quite a wait but the upside of this is that they're actually cooking the food you ordered right before your eyes. Really lovely place!

Weeping Thaiger (Naas)
Wolfetone Street, New Town Centre, Naas, Kildare

We used to find this place a small bit expensive but the food was so ggod it used ot make up for the price. Now that the new price menu is up it makes it geat value. A meal here is now a brilliant price and the food is always excellent.

Milano (Clarion Quay)
Unit 6, Excise Walk, Clarion Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin

This branch really lets the whole Milano chain down. I have eaten here many times with work in the last year and each time the portions seem to get smaller and have less and less meat/ cheese/ whatever the key (most expensive!!) ingredient is. I had a chicken pasta dish and got 3 little pieces of chicken. Badly needs to smarten up. Too expensive for the quality being served.

Broadway New York Eatery
Unit 6, Custom House Square IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

Had delicious Ravioli here today- generous portion and really great value. Everything being served all around me looked really great and the service is quick and friendly- perfect for lunch!

Siam Thai (Andrews Street)
14/15 Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I have been here a few times and I've never been disappointed! The chicken, prawn and beef skewers to start are delicious. Also the fish and chicken cakes. Main courses are a generous and always tasty. Simple ice-cream and chocolate sauce is always nice. Service is very good. Maybe just a little overpriced overall but saying that, my experiences here have all been wonderful.

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

A lovely midweek treat! I planned to use my menupoints here and was also told that the early bird (2 courses for €20) was available all night. We both had steak which was served with a generous portion of chips and a delicious pepper sauce. From a great selection of desserts we chose chocolate cake and fruit crumble: both delicious. Extremely good value, will definitely be back soon.

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Crow Street
2 Crow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Simply perfect! This was my second visit to FXB Temple Bar and again, I was very impressed. The chowder and ribs to start were simply delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection and my girlfriend had the fish special which was a beautiful black sole on a bed of mash. The chocolate cake is a good choice for dessert. The waiter couldn't have been more cheerful or efficient. I can't wait to go back!

Thai Spice
3A Talbot Place, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

I ate here at lunch time and found the restaurant small but cosy and busy; full of atmosphere. I had the red Thai curry which was delicious though the fried rice was a let down. The desserts really impressed- the warm sticky toffee pudding is so good I would go back just for dessert!

Kudos Restaurant (IFSC)
Clarion Hotel Dublin, IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

I have eaten in Kudos many times at lunch and I have never been disappointed: service is sharp and the food is excellent. The chicken chilli chow mein and thai green curry are particulary good. Speed of service is especially good when you're tight for time at lunch. Overall excellent!

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for dinner here with my partner after hearing much about it. I had the sea bass which was delicious and the portion size was very generous. My partner had the steak which didn't disappoint. The atmosphere in this restaurant is second to none and the service is friendly and efficient. We ended up drinking wine at our table until 2am which is unique to this restaurant.

The Saddle Room @ The Shelbourne
The Shelbourne Hotel, 27 St Stephen's Green, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Had dinner here last night. Found it quite traditional but good quality food. Had the 18oz t-bone steak which is an absolute mountain of meat. Mash potatoes and onion rings were great sides, onion rings were massive towers, seeing is believing. The chocolate tart dessert was mouth watering and not withstanding licking the plate there wasn't much left. No music kinda took away from the setting. Before we had even finished our meal the staff had started to set the tables for breakfast for the next morning which was a bit of a let down.

La Palma Ristorante Italiano
Parnell st, Waterford, Waterford City, Waterford

Could not find fault in this excellent restaurant. I had heard much talk about it before i went and i must say it lived up to all the hype. Hands down the best piece of steak that i have ever had, cooked to perfection, my girlfriend had the beef and it was mouth-watering. Wine was lovely. The desert was futuristic looking and tasted as good as it looked. Can match any of the big dublin places that i have eaten in and at only 110euro for a 3 course meal for 2 excellent value for money.

Ginos
The Apple Market, John Street, Waterford City, Waterford

An excellent place to eat if you're looking for an enjoyable evening with some great tasting pizza and a glass of wine. Whatever is in the sauce it makes the pizzas here unique. I always get the medium Gino's special and it is more than enough for one.
