We went here on a girlie night out, it was the only place that we could get without a reservation on a Saturday night and it was exceptional... It was great value for money I actually thought they had given us the takeaway menu by accident! Food quality, portions, service everything really was top notch. I will be returning.. :)

Went here one Friday afternoon and I can't say I was impressed... I know its a casual diner but the overly loud music made it really difficult to have a conversation! Def better as a place to have a few beers in the evening rather than trying to eat and talk. Food was fine.. nothing to write home about. My partners mum got a bbq chicken dish which was meant to have sauce on the side when it came out it was slathered in this very unpleasantly sweet sauce - it would have been fine on the side but all over it it was just too much. We had a burger and a club sandwich and they were grand. It was a bit pricey for what you get I think..

KC Peaches Cafe & Delicatessen (Nassau Street)
28/29 Nassau Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for an after work dinner on a Thursday night. We ate in the wine bar downstairs, it was very quiet. Our waitress was lovely, very efficient and gave us advice on what to order. I had the butterbean tomato dish and it was delicious.. My friends had the beetroot and apple salad and the cheese fondue which they both found gorgeous. I was really impressed. The wine bar is really cosy and it good left a good first impression. I would definitely recommend it.

Carluccio's Caffe
52 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Had dinner here friends a few days before christmas. Great atmosphere, lovely relaxed service and wonderful food... Good portion sizes too.. I had the spicy sausage pasta all I can say is yum... I was really impressed it was very flavoursome and good comfort food.. My friends had the spinach and courgette pasta - they said it was unusual but really tasty.. Only thing I would say was the sides were pricy 4.95 for a side salad is just too dear! Other than that I will def return..

The Pig's Ear
4 Nassau Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I was really excited about coming here even if it was my 3rd Xmas lunch of the week! It really did not disappoint.. Had the salmon main - crispy skin and beautifully cooked salmon with mashed potatoes with a butter sauce.. yummy.. The other dishes eaten were the corned beef starter my friend said it was really tasty, the sea bream light and wonderful and the chicken with stuffing fabulous. I had the chocolate tart which was delight especially with the space dust on it great touch... The rice pudding was wonderfully old school it came with the milk in a glass bottle and a mini bag of siucra.. I loved my enamel tea pot.. really loved this place and will definitely return. Service was attentive without being over bearing. Great value too. A little gem!

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I love this restaurant its def one of my favourites I've never had a bad meal here. Came for the lunch menu with some work colleagues. Great value lunch menu. Service great and you get lovely breads. Had the goats cheese tartlet for starter which had salad and beetroot on the side. Melt in the mouth. Had the hake for main perfect, really gorgeous and very filling. Everyone elses meals looked really well presented and they were all delighted with them. It wasn't that busy which I was surprised about. Had a fabulous glass of red wine and I dont like red usually! This is a fantastic restaurant can't recommended it enough!

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Went to Bon Crubeen with friends, there was a great atmosphere it sems to always be busy! Service was efficient. We were seated in a corner table which was right beside the door to the bar next door so there was a lot of traffic in and out. I could not fault the food, it was fabulous and such good value! I had the salmon and langoustine with spinach and potatoes - it was really tasty. My friend had salmon cakes great sized starter and my other friend had mushroom pasta which looked amazing. Everyone was delighted. We decided to have dessert and the brownie was delicious crunchy on the outside gooey in the middle with fabulous ice cream.. Lovely glass of white wine. All in all a perfect meal and great value.

The Church Cafe Bar & Restaurant
Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Went here for dinner with friends on Bank Holiday Sunday evening and it was buzzing. Service was a bit hit and miss, difficult to order and find a server. Food came out quick and it was nice but nothing amazing. Lasagne was swimming in oil, steak sandwich was a bit skimpy on the steak. The beef and guinness stew seemed to be the best of our 3 meals. This place has a good atmosphere and next time I think I'll try the gallery restaurant.

101 Talbot
Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I had a really enjoyable evening here with my partner. Food wise - my partner had linguine marinara which he found light on the seafood and heavy on the overpowering sauce, however the mushroom on toast starter was extremely tasty. I had the crab starter which was lovely but a tad on the salty side and the beef was very tender and well cooked, the wine sauce was very strong though. Overall, we had a good experience the service was efficient and it was good value for money and we will return.

Have had a take away here a few times and it's lovely. They are always so nice and mannerly - unusual for people to open the door for you! Great food, great portions and good prices :)

Marco Polo not live
O'Connell Street, Limerick City, Limerick

We had dinner here with my family on Saturday night using my €25 voucher which was great. Luigi's never fails to impress with its food - it is always of good quality and portion size is good. The only thing I can say about is that it was extremely busy and it could be hard to hear because it is so open plan!

Shanahan’s on the Green
119 St. Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

I went here for a special occasion with my family for the early bird menu. I wouldn't normally have been able to afford it! It was everything I heard it was going to be... The bread was lovely and warm! The smoked salmon, mussels and spinach salad for starters were fabulous. My mum is still talking about the salad. The steaks we had were just enough and very tasty. All the sides were really yummy. The only comment I would make is that the mains could have been hotter. Desserts were also good and at that stage we were stuffed. Service was very efficient without being overbearing. I would definitely come again.

Lautrecs Tapas & Wine Bar Kilkenny

Go for lunch here on a regular basis - great hearty food, quick and good portions. A bit on the more expensive side but very tasty.

Angel Park Eatery
5 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for my lunch downstairs. Cosy restaurant which was really busy. I got an El Greco wrap - it was really nice but thought it was pricey enough! Have gotten food in the take away part since and can't deny that you get what you pay for. Food is fresh, tasty and really good quality. Well worth a little bit extra.

Pacinos
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This place is great! Such good value.. Went here on a Tuesday eve and it was busy enough, had the early bird - got the buffalo wings (huge portion) and yummy, swordfish - very tasty and fresh and the chocolate biscuit cake (huge portion) - its unusual to get chocolate biscuit cake warm but it's a great surprise.. My friend got a burger and she was very happy with it. Service was a bit patchy, our server left after she took our order to it took a while for our mains to come out and our sides were mixed up. Didn't take away from the food and i'll def come here again. :)

Mongolian Barbeque
7 Anglesea Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here with a group of friends for pre xmas celebrations. It was great fun, food was lovely. Novelty idea for a night out. It was very quiet when we were there so we never had to wait long for our food to be cooked. All the food looked very fresh and there was alot of good choice. We all tried to co-ordinate our trips so that we were all up or down! Food was very nice and great to see it being cooked in front of you. All in all good value and good food.

Jasmine Palace (Limerick)
O'Connell Street, Limerick City, Limerick

Went here for a low key birthday dinner. Food excellent - really recommend the general tso's salad and seafood hot pot. The food prices have dropped here recently and 22.50 for 3 courses was excellent value.. Paying 5.25 for a long neck bottle of bulmers is quite steep tho! The place was full and at times it was quite loud.... Service was a little bit up and down but nothing too shoddy. The 5 happy birthday interruptions with very loud music blaring in just over an hour got a little bit waring! Also, it's freezing!

Siam Thai (Andrews Street)
14/15 Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here with a girlfriend after work on a Tuesday evening for an early bird. It was quite busy. The food was yummy and the early bird was great value. The portion size was good and the service was also great. We didn't feel rushed to leave which was great.

Chai Yo
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I went here on Saturday evening with my mum in the downstairs part. It was fab from start to finish! The service was impeccable without being overly fussy. The food was divine, we had a mix of japanese and thai food with some thai beer to wash it down. The tempura was like air. Everything was extremely fresh and there was lots of vegetables in the dishes a rarity in some places!! Desserts were the usual thai fare of frozen ice cream desserts but it didn't take from the meal at all as everything was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

Pearl Brasserie
20 Merrion Street Upper, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This restaurant is amazing. I have been here for both lunch and dinner in the past couple of months and I have yet to be disappointed. The food is fantastic. The mushroom tagliatelle is to die for and the sea bass is fabulous. The chocolates that come with the coffee afterwards are yummy after the meal if you can't fit in a huge dessert. The service and atmosphere is lovely. I love the little alcoves they would be great for a romantic evening.

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I had heard mixed reviews about this place but on a recent girlie night out on a Saturday night we tried here. I was well impressed, it was very busy but we got a table with no reservation. Service was excellent, food was gorgeous and extremely good value. All in all it was a good choice, good cocktails, good selection on the menu and good atmosphere. We weren't rushed at all even though there was alot of passing trade looking for tables.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

I went here twice on the bank holiday wkds and I was very impressed with the food. It really was amazing. We're both very hard to please where food is concerned and the food didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was lovely and service was great the 1st time. Service was a bit more haphazard the 2nd time even though it wasn't as busy but food still excellent.
