Myself and my husband went here on friday. For starter he had chicken wings which were deli.I had chicken soup which didn't look very nice but was tasty. We ordered fillet steaks but got sirloins. These were very nice and well cooked. Our desserts were chocolate brownie and selection of ice-cream.The brownie wasn't very nice it tasted like it was out of a packet rather than homemade. The restaurant is beside a nighclub and the music from this really interferes with the atmosphere of the place. The service was excellent.Personally I will not be returning.

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for dinner with friends.Had the chicken wings to start.Wow!Absolutly devine. Then for my main I had shrimp with cous cous and spinach. This wasn't too heavy after all the chicken wings I ate. For dessert was sorbet.Yum and very refreshing.I'd go everyday if I could.Plus the place was packed so always a good sign.

Oscar Taylor Restaurant
Island View Hotel, Coast Road, North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

We went here on mothers day,I thought it would be packed but it wasn't too bad.I really like the food here it's always very tasty and a bit retro. The only downside was the kids food didn't come out till the adults got their mains.I also love that it's across the road from the beach so you can walk off the dessert.

Okra Green Castleknock
Unit 1, Village Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Castleknock, Dublin

Our first night here and it was busy for a wednesday.I had the prawns to start and the sea bass for my main.Dessert was lemon sorbet. Each course was more delicious than the next. One of the best meals I've ever eaten.

The Orchard Cafe
Orchard Home & Garden, Celbridge, Kildare

A lovely place to go for tea and scones.I love the decor but it is a bit pricey so wouldn't be eating here too often.

Rathsallagh House
Dunlavin, Dunlavin, Wicklow

I have to say that this was the most delicious meal I've had in a long time.I had pate to start and a sirloin steak for mains. The mains came with sideorders included in the price which is a rarity nowadays. We then retired to the drawing room for coffee. The atmosphere and service was top notch.

WILDE
The Westbury, Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here again.I had the lobster bisque which was so good I ate my husbands too.He didn't like his because he's not much of a fish eater. We both had steaks,so good.I had a banana split and himself had the chocolate fondant. Great atmosphere and the service is first class.

Charles Brinsley Restaurant @ Bloomfield House Hotel
Belvedere, Mullingar, Westmeath

I was very impressed with the food here especially for the price only 25 euo for a 3 course meal. I had sweet chilli prawns and a melt in the mouth steak. The portion were very big also. The only downside is the lighting was very bright which takes away from the atmosphere.

Captain America's Blanchardstown
Unit 40 Blanchardstown, Retail Park 2 Extension Dublin, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We went here as 2 adults and 2 kids its a great place for kids. The kids menu is extensive so lots to choose from for fussy eaters. The adults both had steak fajitas which were delicious. And the kids both had pasta. The kids menu is only 5 euro for main, dessert and drink. We will go back for the food but the service wasn't great we were left waiting for our bill for along time but then again they were very busy.

Wongs of Castleknock
Ashleigh Centre, Main Street, Dublin 15, Castleknock, Dublin

It has been a good few years since I have eaten here and we were not disapointed. We arrived as a 6 piece party and we were seated promptly. The restaurant had our hosts favorite bottle of wine on the table when we arrived.Nice touch! We all had the special offer menu which is extensive.Myself and my husband shared the duck to start and a ginger and spring onion dish for mains.Everybody loved the food.Dessert was ice-cream or profiteroles.Great food and service. We will definitly be returning.
