The House
4 Main Street, West Dublin, Howth, Dublin

very limited menu. had been looking forward to soup so asked if by any chance that had any, as none on menu, they did. why not on menu? also seemed to offer take away sandbos, but none for sit down, unless also not on menu. food all was very tastey, especially desert- chocolate and rashberry brownie with ice cream- yum!! but was very expensive for breakfast/lunch. ok for a treat, but not sure if will return.

Chez Max (Palace Street)
1 Palace Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

love this place, can't say a thing wrong with it (besides that you have to book a table as it can be quite busy and often you won't get in). feel like you are in france, especially with the waiting staff and kitchen staff speaking french and often alot of other customers. delicious food. mixed platter is great value- perfect for sharing. lovely choice of wine. have been many times and will be again many more.

Pizza Stop
6/10 Chatham House, Chatham Lane, Off Grafton Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for a girly dinner. Very happy with the place. Staff were fine, didn't hurry us on anything and we were chatting away. No problem making changes on the pizza options on menu. Pizza was nice. Only thing is there is a compulsory 5% tip added for tables of 2 or more, I would always tip 10-15% for good service, but would prefer to do it without being forced.

Busyfeet & Coco Cafe
41- 42 South William Street, South William Street, Dublin

Disappointing. I had scone, small, not up to much. Partner had burger. Not served with anything, again nothing special. Also drinks and scone served straight away, had to wait ages for burger. Staff very unhelpful. Overpriced for what you get, won't be going back.

The Italian Connection
95 Talbot Street, City Centre North, Dublin

A bit disappointing. As was mentioned, the restaurant is quite small. I thought it added to atmosphere, but other half didn't agree, too close for comfort. Staff were friendly. Pizzas weren't up to much, I had prawn and smoked salmon pizza, nothing special. Coffee and ice cream for dessert, ok. Price is reasonable. Good location for the Abbey theatre. Wouldn't go out of my way to return.

The Steps Of Rome

Might have to say best pizza in Dublin. Real Italian feel to place, all staff are Italian as are most of customers, always a good sign. Food is yummy, service very friendly. Very small, may have to wait for table.
