Nakon Thai is another great Douglas resaurant. I order take away, maybe once a month from here. The food is soo aromatic and they obviously use great Thai ingredients. I have lived in Sydney and it is up there with the great Thai restaurants. I tend to order takeaway because their food, 'travels' well .. great value for money too. The only down side .... they don't do deliveries ... pity!!!!

Bully's is a nice family style type 'bistro'. The food is good but I think it could be a little cheaper .. as it would not be up to the same standard as other eateries in the vicinity. I regularly ate here when the kids were smaller as they have great facilities .. crayons and paper etc... Friendly staff too!!

Sean na mBad's
Minane Bridge, Ringabella, Carrigaline, Cork

This a lovely restaurant in a lovely setting. Lovely oldy worldy feel about the restaurant and the bar is clean, cosy and welcoming. The food is lovely the thai curry is delicous and the duck is fantastic. Unfortunately the same cannot be said of the staff. Rude, ignorant, and arrogant, aggresive and in your face, is an understatement. I have seen this 'waitress' telling a couple to leave if they wished because they asked for the tv to be turned down! Which they promptly did. I have also seen her becoming really aggresive with suppliers .. very strange woman .. her accent changed! Will not set foot in Sean's again. What a pity!

Spice of India (Bishopstown)
Looneys Cross, Bishopstown Road, Cork, Bishopstown, Cork

Spice of India in my opinion is the best Indian restaurant in Cork. Their prawn jalfrezi is out of this world .. spicy (not too spicy) and succulent. Lovely starters and of course complimentary popadoms!!! The staff are lovely but they cannot seem to cope with large groups .. its narrow and tends to be very cold during the winter .. but apart from that its a great restaurant. Just wrap up well!!!!

ECO Douglas Restaurant
1/2 Eastville, Douglas Village, Douglas, Cork

Eco Restaurant is my second home, fantastic food, lovely ambience, friendly professional staff. Their madras curry is to die for .. I usually would not eat curry in this type of restaurant but it is soooooo good. The stir fry is excellent too! Oh, and not forgetting the the chicken pavesse. The salmon is very, very tasty. Great wine list and the cherry on top .. it's reasonably cheap compared to other eateries in the area. The only down side is its a wee bit cramped and I do not like the room behind the reception area, slightly claustraphobic .. but it is well and truly worth a visit!!

Radhuni Indian
East Douglas Village, Douglas, Cork

I have ate in Radhuni maybe 3 or 4 times and have found it to be inferior to other restaurants in the locality. The sauce in many of their dishes seems to taste the same .. my fellow diners agree with this sentiment, especially with their more savoury based dishes as opposed to the more creamy, buttery dishes ... which are sickenly sweet. Lovely surroundings .. but is let down by some of the staff, once walked in off the street, no booking, they sat us in the worst area possible, right in the middle, with no privacy!!!! Asked to be moved to a better table and I thought the waiter was going to blow a gasket .. very, very strange! What is even more strange was the place was nearly empty!
