The deserts here are amazing especially their pavlova. The atmosphere is cosy and food reasonably priced. I would eat here again!

Cellar One Restaurant @ The Ross Hotel
Town Centre, Killarney, Kerry

This restaurant is usually busy so I would recommend to book ahead. I had the scallops and the duck. The duck was cooked perfectly but the scallops were a tiny bit over done. Nevertheless, I would return but I wouldn't order the scallops. The deserts were the nicest part of the meal.

Killarney Royal Hotel
College St, Killarney, Kerry

Me and my boyfriend went here for lunch last Sunday. We ate in dining room instead of the bar. I ordered the tagliatelle with seafood for starters but it was like a bowl of soup and the tagliatelle was very over done. My boyfriend had the chorizo quiche which was quite nice. For the main course I had the pork which was only ok, my boyf had the fish and he said he wouldn't order it again. We couldn't fault the desserts, the portions were big and they were delicious. The waiter forgot about us so we were waiting for quite a while. I don't think I'd return to this restaurant.

Packies
Henry Street, Kenmare, Kerry

I love this restaurant. The food is A1. It's very cosy and the atmosphere is great. I had the soup and the duck. The soup was delicious and the duck was superb. My boyfriend had the crabcakes and the scallops. I tasted both of these and they were very nice. I did find it on the expensive side but I would definitely return.

The Lansdowne Arms Hotel
Kenmare, Kenmare, Kerry

I've only eaten breakfast here but it was really nice. There was a choice of a full irish breakfast, an omelette or homemade porridge and there was plenty fruit, yogurt and cereal. It was quite expensive though.

Davitt's Bar and Restaurant
Henry Street, Kenmare, Kerry

I was at this restaurant for a hen party, there were 9 of us and there wasn't an empty table in the place. for starters i had soup, chicken for the main and apple crumble for dessert. each dish was beautiful. However, we did have to wait 55 minutes for the main course. After we ordered dessert, the band started playing right beside us, which was very noisy. The staff didn't even apologise to us for the delay and they tried 2rush us out before we finished the dessert. I would return because the food was lovely but only if it wasn't busy.

Avoca
Moll's Gap, Kenmare, Kerry

I went here during the summer and it was very busy. I had the quiche and a slice of pavalova, both were delicious. I did find that the prices were expensive and the chairs very uncomfortable. The staff were quite pleasant and they didn't rush us at all.

Prego
18 Henry Street, Kenmare, Kerry

The food here is very traditional. I had the ravioli for starters and the spicy sausage risotto for the main. Both of these dishes were delicious and the portions were huge, i couldn't finish the risotto. The inside of the restaurant was very dark and a bit cramped. The staff were extremely pleasant throughout the night and the prices are very reasonable. I will return some night in the near future.

Golden Mountain
U59, The Orchard, Castletroy, Castletroy, Limerick

i travel to limerick regularly so i like to try new places to eat everytime i go. golden mountain doesn't have any seating it's just a takeaway. The inside appeared to dirty, which completely turned me off getting food here. I was fairly hungry so i said i'd give it ago. The food is ok nothing spectacular.

Bricin
26 High Street, Killarney, Kerry

I have been to bricin a good few times as my friend loves the place. The menu doesn't have much variation but none the less the food is food. I had the soup which was creamy and tasty. For the main course i had chicken boxty, which was also delicious. for dessert i had the strawberry pavalova which was the best i have ever tasted. All their desserts are homemade. The staff were ok, they rushed us a bit but it was a saturday night and they were very busy.

Beaufort Bar and Restaurant
Beaufort, Killarney, Killarney, Kerry

this restaurant is always busy. I have been there many times for both lunch and dinner and it never fails to disappoint. there is always a good choice on d menu whether it's the early bird or a la carte. I had the goats cheese for starter, chicken for the main and pavalova for desert, these were all delicious. the service is excellent and quick. there is also a cosy bar downstairs, which is ideal for a drink before and after dinner.
