What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said? The chicken wings are the most amazing wings I’ve ever eaten and the chips are amazing. If you weren’t starving I would advise sharing a bowl of wings between you as they will leave you stuffed! But still great great place..

We went here when we couldnt get a table anywhere else on a Saturday night! It was surprisingly good. We got both starters and mains and we definitely got too much food. I must have left at least half my new york strip on my plate. Overall it was fun and we had a few cocktails and sang along to the cheesy tunes that were played. Not a place to go for a romantic meal but if you're looking for something fun with reasonable food you could do far worse!

In the past we had ordered take out from here and hadn't been too impressed. However recently a group of us were going for a meal and decided to go here. It was absolutely gorgeous. Huge portions and absolutely delicious. Plus it's excellent value for money!

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I love this place. We've been here a few times and although we are always the youngest people by a fair few years the staff are always friendly and attentive. I always get the prawns to start and the lamb for main course and I have never once been disappointed. I would recommend the Trocadero to anybody.

Went here before a gig last weekend and it was perfect. Had the garlic bread with mozzarella for starters while my other half had the new specialist breads. Both were absolutely gorgeous. For mains we both had pizza which arrived in a timely fashion and which were yummy. I think I would eat here every day if I could :)

Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

We went here for a special occasion after hearing very positive things about it. There were 6 of us and we were seated at a tiny table so we asked to be moved and were. When we ordered one member of the party asked for his steak to be very well done. When our main courses came his steak was medium rare at best. It was sent back and came back medium. It was then sent back again and again. When a steak has to be sent back three times, there is something very wrong. By the time the steak was actually cooked properly the rest of the party were finished their mains. At the end of the meal two people were having tea and the waiter came over with one coffee to apologise! No one at the table was even drinking coffee! So when the bill came I explained to the waiter that I really didn’t think we should have to pay for the steak. He rolled his eyes and gave a really exasperated sigh and told me I would have to speak to the manager, which I did and he couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant. Overall it was a very disappointing experience and I certainly know that no one from the group would go back to it and have advised others likewise. The food was ok but the service let the restaurant down.

Had the worse meal ever here. Went for my birthday. When we ordered it was obvious the waiter wasn’t listening to a word we said. So after half an hour we asked about our drinks and starters. Drinks came but no starters. After an hour we got our starters which weren’t that great. The waiter couldn’t clear our starters away quick enough and pretty much threw our mains down. We finished and left as quick as we could. I haven’t been back since.
