Two of my children brought me to Howards Way yesterday April 20th for lunch as it was my birthday.A lovely restaurant, although it is quite small and reminds me of someones dining room.As it was lunch hour it was packed although the friendly waitress got us a table within minutes. The food was delicious. My son had the full Irish breakfast which is served all day in the rathgar restaurant. My daughter had chicken wraps which came with a choice of two salads.I opted for the special of the day, salted fillet of cod served on a bed of mash with side salad. We also had a portion of chips and coffees. It was truly delicious and all this came to exactly 33.00 euro.Atmosphere and service and staff and cleanliness excellent. You can park in Supervalu across the road.Highly recommended.5 stars!

Myself and three of my children and their girlfriends dined in mao Dundrum on Sat 23rd April. We had a lovely evening. The food here was excellent as was the service. The staff were very friendly and as it was my birthday ,they brought me out a choc brownie with icecream and sang Happy Birthday. The only downside is this restaurant is quite noisy. There were alot of young families there.I thought it would be more intimate. It is quite expensive also.Having said that the food and service is first class.

Howards Way (Churchtown)
11 Braemor Road, South Dublin, Churchtown, Dublin

I had breakfast here this morning with my sister in law.I must say i was pleasantly surprised. It is such a bright ,spacious ,airy restaurant. There was a large cliental dining at 10am,which in my mind is good for a tuesday morning. We both opted for the vegatarian breakfast which was very tasty. It contained two fried eggs, two hash browns, tomatoes,a large bowl of beans, plenty of toast and as much tea or coffee as we wanted. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly. And we also felt it was great value considering unlike most restaurants they dont charge for extra tea or coffee.we will be back.

Tavern
Dylan Hotel, Eastmoreland Place, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

I am reviewing this on behalf of my brother.I gave him a voucher for his 60th birthday. The voucher entitled the beholder to a 3 course meal for two plus a bottle of wine for 60 euro.It was an offer. The voucher was actually worth 120 euro.he said it was the best meal himself and his wife ever had(and they are well travelled)!!Not only was the food and wine excellent but the staff couldnt have been nicer. The atmosphere was magic and the decor likewise.I cant wait to try it myself. He said it was so good that he would pay 120 euro to dine there again.5 stars all round.anne

Toscana (Dun Laoghaire)
5 Windsor Terrace, South Co. Dublin , Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Myself and my friend dined here on an early bird menu.Great value @18.95 for a three course. My friend had the minestrone soup served with brown bread.I had prawns fried in breadcrumb served with a leafy salad. We both had breast of chicken done in a lime sauce served with leafy salad and we had a portion of chips to share. We both had tirmisu for dessert. The food was first class, service excellent and the staff very friendly.I only gave it two and a half stars for atmosphere as there was only one other couple in the restaurant. It was 5pm on a friday evening. However when we were leaving at 6.15 people began to arrive.I hope they did well that night as it is a gorgeous restaurant.Highly recommend.
