Namaste India restaurant
88 North King Street, Smithfield, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 7
Reviewed 11th March 2008 ( visited 08th March 2008 )Love this Indian. Often order from it and it’s always great. Looks dodgy but don’t let that fool you! Used to live near it and there were always people inside. Staff are very nice too. I recommend the jalfrezi and pasanda. Delivery is quite fast as well!
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 14th November 2007 ( visited 09th November 2007 )Had dinner here for a friends birthday. Found the place quite noisy and cramped. We couldn't have a conversation down the table. Staff were hard to locate at times. All that said however the food was good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. They were great with special dietary requirements. The champagne mojito cocktail was amazing!

Great Service. Food was grand. We all had steak. Everyone happy. Full place on a sat night but they slotted us in. Lively place. I'd recommend it. Could have been cleaner but I guess the old style woodchips, fire etc are part of its charm.
9 Grattan Crescent, Dublin 8 , Inchicore, Dublin
Met some friends after work here. I was late but they were very accomodating! The Lasange was really good. Everyone like the meals, especially the fish dishes. The cheese/meat platters looked great too. I really liked the way you could choose your pasta.
Eden Quay, City Centre North, Dublin
Popped in with a few friends before heading to the laughter lounge. The choice was great! I tried a little of everything. The food was good nothing special but then again for an all you can eat place it was damn good! Prawn crackers, starters, most of the mains, cheesecake and the icecream were good! I was very happy!
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I was a bit disappointed with the service here last night. There were 7 of us prebooked and we were squashed into a booth. I found service very slow. Some meals were very late arriving. They also charged us €7 so serve our own cake! The food was good however just make sure you have plenty of time! The Yaki soba was great! The chicken ramen was a little bland however!

The Market Bar

Great value for money, great selection of dishes and delicious food. Its a great spot to meet friends and have a drink. Good at night for a few drinks as well. Be warned the chocolate brownie is far too big for one person!!! I especially liked the feta salad and the piri piri chicken!
Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
I went with a group of friends and it was a great place for chat and gossip. Food was grand nothing spectacular but everyone was happy. Deserts were very good especially the toblerone and butterscotch cheesecake! There are good early week alcohol offers with the food for a group, say it to the server though because they wont offer it to you! We got some free wine and cocktails, although the dacquiri was too syrupy.
The Grand Central Cafe Bar
O'Connell Street, O'Connell St, Dublin
I had dinner and cocktails here on monday night. The Chicken skewers were excellent. It was really tasty fresh chicken. I will return. The cocktails were great too and a very obliging barman made a mocktail for one of my friends! There is a severe lack of places to grab something to eat in the evenings around there!

Went here for lunch last Friday. I was very impressed. The food was great. I had the chicken and coconut soup to start and red Thai beef curry for mains. There were 7 of us. All were happy with the food and at €13 I thought it was good value. Staff were very nice and attentive. The restaurant itself looked great. It was subtle without being tacky.

MV Cill Airne Boat Bar & Restaurant
MV Cill Airne, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, IFSC, Dublin
The setting was very nice but a little too far down the quays! I found the portions a little small for my liking. The bangers and mash looked a little lost on the plate but tasted good! The fishcakes were good too!

I went out here for family dinner for my graduation. It was an ideal place. Although it is quite small and busy we still felt comfortable. Most had steaks and they were all excellent! Service was great without being intrusive.
