2nd time there in a large group, and again, the food was very good. I usually think dinner in large groups mean a compromise on quality, but not here. The food was delicious, and the staff efficient.

Very nice atmosphere, feels like you are on holiday. Food very unusual to me, but very nice. Very pleasant restaurant. Will go back.

Have eaten here several times, food always excellent, service always excellent. One of my favourite restaurants.

The Morehampton Brasserie (Previously the The Restaurant @ Donnybrook Fair)
89 Morehampton Road, Dublin 4, Donnybrook, Dublin

Have visited here a several times and on those occasions the restaurant has been empty but the food has been nice. On this occasion the restaurant was busy, the food was not up to the usual standard and the service was awful. Will not be back.

Bland food, which I suspect is reheated. Completely overpriced for what it is. Unusual hand washing setup, waitress washing cutlery across from you, while porters walk back and fourth directly past the toilet door. Disappointing. To finish off the waitress asked us if we were putting the tip in our credit card! Probably would appeal to a certain clientele but this didn't include me.

Second visit, very happy both times. Reasonably priced, good food, very pleasant atmosphere. Definately worth a visit. Would advise booking ahead on sat night. Both times we were there it was sat night, and they were very very busy.

Chapter One Restaurant
18/19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Went for the chef's table last night, €125 including wine, so not cheap, but was probably the nicest meal I ever had out. The food was delicious, the wine was perfectly chosen, I would love to be going back tonight!!!

Went there with a large group, and thought the food was great value. Had the set menu, and there was something for all tastes on it. Staff very attentive, and looking forward to my next visit.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Visited there last friday night. It was very busy, and we were shown to our table. It was so close to the table next to us that when the table next to us were seated, and ordered wine, the wine cooler was left on top of my bag trap and I nearly knocked over the wine. Staff kept banging into the back of my chair, as they only had about inches to spare. Service I felt was very poor, after the main course our plates were left uncleared for about 20 minutes and we then waited about another 20 for someone to take our dessert order. But with the service charge automatically included (something I have a major problem with), there is no real incentive to deal with customers quickly .Food was faultless, but not good enough to make up for the poor service and the massive overpricing.

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited there on a busy Friday night, and was very happy leaving. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portions. The staff were pleasant and service was very efficient. Only complaint was that there was a large party sitting close to us and they were very noisy, but the restaurant cannot be held responsible for that. Just the luck of the draw. Will definately be visiting there again.

Acapulco Restaurant
7 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Like one of the other reviewers I never felt the need to review a restaurant so much. we were a party of four on a busy saturday night. We placed our order at 7.40 and prompty got our starter, but the main course did not arrive until 8.50. I commented on the long wait to the waiter who sent over the supervisor. She said that we had nothing to complain about and such a wait was normal. She was incredibly rude and curt. I thien said we would not be eating there again to which she replied that was my choice. We spoke to her again at the end of the meal, and she was once again rude. I would never eat there again. Pity cause the food is quite nice.
