What an amazing restaurant. I went there with my girlfriend and it was nice and quiet. I got the shredded chicken as a starter and there was plenty of it. It was really tasty too. I can't remember the main course I got but it had Prawns, Scallops and other bits of fish with a garlic sauce served on a big leaf. It was simply amazing. I haven't enjoyed a meal as good as this anywhere else since I last visited Rickshaw. The staff were the nicest I've seen and it isn't too pricey but you do get what you pay for. I'll definitely be going back there soon.

Shakira Indian Cuisine
47 Lower Georges Street, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

A really nice Indian restaurant. The place is small, but the food is great. I had a Lamb Rogan Josh and was very tasty. The staff are very attentive and the prices are great. The early bird menu is good. The only problem with the place is that it's often cold in the room. They also do a take-away service.

Giddy Goose Cafe
138-139 Lower George's Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

This is a newish place. The food is pretty basic and serves up the likes of breakfasts, brunch, paninis for lunch etc. The service is good as it doesn't get too busy. It looks a bit jaggedy on the outside, but it's a great place to have lunch in.

Johnnie Fox's Pub
Glencullen, Dublin Mountains, Glencullen, Dublin

I love this pub. The seafood is amazing. Other foods are equally as good and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is great, and there's live music on every night. Reservation is advised as it can get very busy. It's quite a mature place, so not too suitable for children. A really nice pint of Guinness too.

The Step Inn Lounge Restaurant
Enniskerry Road, Stepaside Village, Stepaside, Stepaside, Dublin

One of my favourite places to eat. The staff are very pleasent and has a good family atmosphere. The food is lovely and you don't have to wait too long. I'd recommend the Garlic Mushrooms, but beware they can be very very hot when just served. There's no need to dress up too well, so casual is good. You can either go for a quick bite, or a day out with food and drink.

Palmers - The Golden Ball
The Golden Ball, Kilternan, Dublin

This place is very expensive for bog standard pub grup. Obviously, the food is nice but the prices can be a turn off. I usually get a burger but the sizes can be quite small. The atmosphere is full of a mixed age group and sometimes it can get a bit rowdy.

Alex Restaurant
Conrad Hotel, Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

What an establishment. It is very posh, and the clientelle are somewhat too, but the food is delicious. It is very expensive but if you're out for a treat, then it is a nice place to go to. I tried the Fillet Beef, and it melted in my mouth. Good stuff. Will go back again if ever I have the cash.

Brambles Cafe - Dundrum
Level 2, Dundrum, Dublin

Decent coffee and lovely looking desserts here. The prices are a tad bit expensive compared to other places, but what can you expect?.. It's in Dundrum. Service is great considering that the staff there are nearly always rushed off their feet.

Itsa @ Dun Laoghaire (Bagel Store)
The Pavilion, Royal Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

An awesome bagel bar. They really do fill the bagel up well. I got one today and was well worth the money. They have a great selection of fillings too. The service is quick and what you'd expect from a bagel bar.

The Real Gourmet Burger - Dun Laoghaire
The Pavilion, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I was recommended to go here by my brother and his fiancee, as they were raving about it. The menu is fairly small, but what was on it seemed nice. Firstly, the atmosphere was pretty dead and the seating not the most comfortable around. The food was terrible; the mince burger was not fully cooked and they didn't even ask us how we wanted it whilst ordering. I ordered a Holy Moly burger, which was supposed to be spicy... it wasn't and only had about 2 jalapeno's on it. My girlfriend ordered a BBQ burger with no BBQ sauce in sight, just a tomato based relish on it. I think anyone could have made a much nicer burger than here. The burgers looked really tall and silly which would mean you would need a big mouth to eat it, but obviously you can squash it down and let all the sauce and other stuff escape the burger (not good). The chips were ok. I can't fault the service, they did what they were supposed to do. Value?... Not wort the money considering how bad the food was and how you can make much nicer and more food at home for the price.

Da Vinci's
31 Deansgrange Road, Deansgrange, Dublin

For a small place, it's a lovely place. My dad recommended that I go in here with my girlfriend to get a coffee and a slice of pizza. Both were lovely and will definitely go back again for a mid-day snack.

Punjabi By Nature Indian Restaurants & Takeaway
15 Ranelagh Village, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin

One of my favourite Indians restaurants. Really great atmosphere and the food is top notch. Their Lamb is fantastic but I've tasted my other halfs food and was also great. I'd definitely come back here. Great place.

Cornucopia
19/20 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

A surprisingly good restaurant. When I first walk into a restaurant I expect to be greeted and I was. The choice of food looked delicious and was tempted to buy everything... if I had the cash that is. Great food and a very comfortable restaurant.

YO Sushi (Dundrum)
Level 1, Unit 26A, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Its an ok eatery. The sushi is fairly standard and the open seating isn't to my liking as there's people just walking past and staring at you. Service is good as it's more of a ''help yourself'' type of place but there are better sushi places around if you're really into it.

Washerwomans Hill
60 Glasnevin Hill, Glasnevin, Glasnevin, Dublin

Really pleasant surprise here. The place looked fabulous and the staff were really nice and well trained. The food was great, I got the Pan Fried Sea Bream and was really tasty. Service is quick and as I said; the food was great.

The Boxty House
20-21 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I frequent this place often and it's a great spot. They have the best Bangers and Mash in Dublin in my opinion. Always great to go for some lunch too.

Restaurant Ten Fourteen
324 Clontarf Road, Clontarf, Dublin

Such divine food. I saw this listed on MenuPages.ie and wondered if the food would live up to the reviews and I've got to say YES that it does. Really exquisite food and just an all round really nice place to eat. I'll be back, nyom nyom.

Dax Restaurant
23 Upper Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Stunning looking place. Can be expensive but it's well worth it. It's a lovely setting and the food is gorgeous.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I was dying to try some Spanish food such as Paella for ages but I got the chance a few weeks ago. This place looks really nice from the outside but nicer when you venture in. Food is really nice and so are the staff.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Really nice place, my girlfriends mother recommended this place. Food is great and its in a nice spot too.

Pacinos
18 Suffolk Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I love this restaurant, it's just great. Their food is top notch and the staff is friendly... not too expensive neither.

Miami Cafe
55 Georges Street Lower, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Lovely family run chipper/restaurant. It's something different as it's not everyday that you get to eat in at a chipper. Fresh Cod and Chips are lovely. Food is overall great. Atmosphere is ok too but sometimes you get some junkies in there but I still love Dun Laoghaire :D. Service is good, I gave it 4 stars as when you just sit down they come over and ask for your order as if to rush you. I can understand this when the place is full as its a small place and they want as many customers per day as possible.

Louies Bistro
20 Mountjoy Square East, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Nice spot. The foods delicious and the early bird menu is great. Well worth checking out for a snack or dinner.

profile_review

Akash Indian Restaurant
7 Georges Ave, South Co. Dublin, Blackrock, Dublin

Nice place to eat. The food is gorgeous but the service is very slow, if not too slow. But I'd go back again just for their Vindaloo yummy.

Solas (Wexford St)
31 Wexford Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I love the look of this place; it's really snazzy. The food is nice too but I prefer to stick to their sandwiches as they look more appealing. It turns into a club late at night so be sure to check it out early during lunch time.

Kandu Catering @Sandyford House Cafe Bar
Sandyford Village, Sandyford, Sandyford, Dublin

Nothing special about this place. It's more of a drinkers pub for the locals rather than somewhere for someone to have a nice cavery or something.

Graces Garden
Brady's Pub, Shankill, Shankill, Dublin

A lovely clean restaurant with great tasting food. My girlfriend and I shared a duck starter. I then got a Thai Green Curry which was delicious. I've never tasted Thai Green Curry but I'd love to have it here again. She got Sweet and Sour chicken which was the best she's ever tasted. She also go Fried rice. When it was served, the rice looked very yellow but again she said it was delicious. Nice quiet atmosphere too.

Mongolian Barbeque
7 Anglesea Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I wanted to treat my girlfriend to something different and was looking for a nice place to eat. I was fairly disappointed when I came out of the place. The food wasn't great nor were the prices, considering the standard of food wasn't up to scratch. We like to try different foods from around the world and this has turned us off Mongolian food, hopefully there's better places around for this kinda thing.

The Kingfisher Restaurant, Guesthouse & Apartments
166 Parnell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Best fish and chips in Dublin. It's hard to find a a place that does a great fish and chips but I think I've found it. Some of the menu items are cheap but taste great; good selection too. I'd definitely go back as it's affordable and the food is top class.

profile_review

Er Buchetto
71 Ranelagh Village, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin

This is a great little place. The food and atmosphere are amazing. It isn't really expensive either so it's a great place to go for some food. I'll definitely be back too.

Amerta Chinese Restaurant
Clifton Avenue, Monkstown, Dublin

My girlfriend and I were planning on going to an Indian but couldn't find the place so we went to Amerta instead. When we first got in we were taken aback by how beautiful it looked and how pleasant the staff were. The food was great. I had Mussels with a ginger sauce for starter which was delicious and Pork in a garlic sauce as a main. Both were equally delicious. My other half had a mixed platter as a starter, it had a lot of variety on it and looked really nice. She then had the Oriental Style Duck which I tasted and was lovely. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone and it's fairly cheap too.

Eddie Rockets (Wexford Street)
Wexford Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I like the look of this restaurant visually but the food is mediocre. But as a fan of Eddie Rockets, I'm still happy with it :).

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (Stillorgan)
Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Stillorgan, Stillorgan, Dublin

I really love Eddie Rockets. Their burgers are amazing with their secret Eddie Rockets sauce. If you haven't tried the Buffalo Wings then you should, they're exceptionally nice served with a Blue Cheese Dip. The service is fairly fast considering the size of the burgers and amount of time they need to be cooked. Their Oreo Milkshake is extremely delicious. The atmosphere is calm and easy going.

Milano (Dun Laoghaire)
1 Harbour Square, Crofton Road, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

It's a nice clean restaurant but I was left waiting 30 mins to get my food as there was a mix-up with something. This didn't really bother me as the food was really nice in the end. I recommend you try the Pollo Pesto. Atmosphere is good and the staff are nice too.

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I really like this restaurant. I went there recently and ordered off their excellent early bird menu. I'd recommend their Funghi Al Aglio as a starter, the serving is huge and the taste it mind blowing. I'd definitely go back again to avail of their early bird menu, well worth every Cent spent.
