Chilli Banana
112 Upper Drumcondra Road, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

We had a family dinner (10 people) and it was fantastic. A great combination of friendly attentive staff, lovely atmosphere and most important fantastic food. We all had a variety of dishes with no complaints. A good choice of wine/beers. Everybody left full and happy.

Bay Restaurant
369 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Myself and my husband popped in on Wednesday evening for dinner, we only wanted a main each. We were pleasantly surprised lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and attentive. It was a lovely evening so lovely views. I ordered Fish and chilps (dill battered fillet of fish with red pepper tartar sauce & chips) which was one of the best I have ever tasted, a very very thin crispy batter, delicious fish and the tartar sauce had a lovely peppery bite to it. My husband had Chicken bang bang (sauteed oriental vegetable in a light coconut & lemon grass curry sauce served with brown rice) and it also was delicious with the vegetables just perfectly cooked and succulent chicken. I loved the fact that they had calories on all the dishes - a lovely walk along the Bull Wall afterwards is highly recommended to burn off some of those delicious calories.

Ruposhi Indian Restaurant
1 Whitworth Road, North Dublin, Drumcondra, Dublin

My favorite Indian restaurant in Dublin, the food is consistently good - the specials are a must - the staff are always attentive, although it can get a bit squashed on a busy night, but it all adds to the atmosphere. Its a definite plus when you see Indian family's eating here too. Highly recommend - it is what it is - great food and lovely staff.

Brasserie Sixty6

Had a really impressive meal here last Saturday with some family members from here and abroad. We had booked the table for 6 people through Menupages, they sorted us out with a table within 5 minutes together with complimentary drink. The food was very very good, steak to die for, melt in mouth lamb shank, lovely salmon and a really tasty juicy burger (although two burgers in a bun was just too much for me!!). The chunky chips and sides of potatoes etc were all very good. Angela our waitress was lovely and very helpful. All around I would highly recommend this for family or friends night out. It was a very busy Saturday night and the food and service was top class. Will definitely be back.

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Myself and some girlfriends book here for dinner last Saturday. When we arrived the room was full of other women i.e., hen parties. We were seated at a nice table , ordered wine, and they then asked us to move (over to a table near the bar/desserts) we did so happily as we were just there for a chat and a catch up. The food was excellent, I went veggie on the night and had the goats cheese starter which was v tasty and the Tuscany parcels (lovely but very very filling). We had a lovely night catching up. Staff were very very friendly but then came the hen party singing etc. The lights were turned down and Dolly Parton 9-5 blared out of the speakers and all hell broke loose. This is a fun place if you want a hen party. I'm sure they don't have them every night and I would like to try it mid week and spend a little more time after dinner finishing my wine and having coffee etc. I will try it again, but not on a Friday Night!
