Reluctantly went back to Farm Restaurant Dawson Street after previous bad experience. Food this time was even worse than before. The starter was tasteless & served with sliced pan toasted! The main course of turkey & ham was dry & unappetising. Desert was probably the best part of the meal. Euro 45 per person certainly wasn't value for money based on food we received. Definitely won't be going back or recommending.

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Pembroke Street
1A Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had Sunday roast here with family. Large portion of roast beef, way too much for 1 person, which was tough and not very appetising. Advertised as Dublin best Sunday roast - I don't think so! Sorry I didn't go for the steak as have been on plenty of occasions and usually excellent. Won't be back for Sunday roast as very disappointing - even my husband left half behind.

Milano (Dundrum)
Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Tried booking a table through Menupages but declined. Phoned Milanos & they advised they don't take bookings at certain times on Saturdays as so busy - a new rule. Arrived without booking but asked at reception if we had a booking! Everyone else who arrived were asked the same. People were turned away as they didn't have bookings & told to book in future - all very strange. Waited 5 minutes for table which was upstairs with 5 other empty tables. Won't be rushing back as they're so dis-organised & annoying not being able to book. We had cinema tickets so tight on time.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Had dinner at Farm Restaurant last night. Starter of Farm Hummus was most tasteless starter ever. Fillet steak was mediocre with too much grain mustard on crushed potatoes. Fillet of hake looked like a mess on the plate & extremely large croutons were palatable but not great. Been there few weeks ago & food was good but our experience last night was total opposite. Won't be rushing back.

Matt The Thresher Seafood Bar and Grill
31/31 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We had dinner at Matt the Thresher & weren't impressed. The service was really poor & the food wasn't great. We ordered food & incorrect items were served, a baked potato turned out to be 2 small partly boiled potatoes which were rock hard. Green beans were actually sugar snap peas. Our main courses were served & we had to request cutlery. My friend asked to mashed potato instead of saute potatoes which were part of fish special & was charged extra. Most of our main courses were cold. Wine glass was cracked & after 4 requests it was replaced. When we complained about the service the staff didn't agree & were quiet argumentative. We told them we'd leave bad review & they said go ahead. Not very professional. We had eaten here before & service was okay but won't be rushing back.

L'Ecrivain Restaurant
109a Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My husband brought me to L'Ecrivain to celebrate my birthday. We had the 9 course tasting menu & weren't disappointed. The food was fabulous & all the staff were extremely attentive. Looking forward to going back.

The Park Bistro
Fenbyrne House,, Castlepark, Arklow, Wicklow

Food good but mushroom starter bit oily, onion rings & chips over cooked. Extremely noisy without any background music. It\'s needs some soft furnishings to absorb some noise.

L'Officina by Dunne And Crescenzi (Dundrum)
Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

4 adults & 2 children had dinner on Sunday. We weren't impressed with quality of the food - everything very bland. We've eaten in South Frederick Street and food far superior. Won't be going back to Dundrum

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

First time dining here. Lovely seat by the window and enjoyed most of our meal except steak was overcooked, apple pie undercooked. Wouldn't rush back as not great value for money
