I had dinner last night and it is amazing and such good value for money! I have walked past this place loads of times and have never paid it much attention as it is small and in my opinion does not look overly inviting. But once inside you realize that its really really cosy and a lovely friendly pleasant atmosphere. The food is delicious! It is mainly seafood which I am not a huge fan of but will eat on occasion but to be honest that is not a problem in this restaurant. It is also extremely reasonably priced. Best value for money in Dublin I would say considering the quality of the food

I was in here last night for just a simple cheese board and a glass of wine. The menu is reasonably priced, the atmosphere is basic and cozy, and I would recomend it. Apparently you can feel free to drop in any time simply for a cup of coffee.

TriBeCa
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I was here for lunch yesterday and although I was a bit disappointed with my lunch I would go back and give it another try. I think I possibly just ordered the wrong thing. I got a caesar salad and the only words to describe it are-rabbit food. The croutons were tiny and few and far between. The dressing was quite bland. (I do order caesar a good bit and this was one of poorer ones I have been served). The dessert menu was not very appealing to me-to be honest there was nothing on it that I felt inclined to order-which is unusual for me! The scene is set for people watching if you can get a window seat which is always enjoyable. I think this was one of the nicer aspects of our meal. The chairs could also do with some cushions! Our waitress was very nice and helpful. Overall I was a disappointed but will give it another try and order some of these famous chicken wings!

Cafe Leon
Wicklow Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I loved this coffee shop! It is slightly on the expensive side but it is well worth it-the atmosphere is really nice and relaxing. The pastries are divine and the coffee is pretty good!

Village Bistro at Tonic Bar, Restaurant and Club
5 Temple Road, Blackrock Village, Blackrock, Dublin

I went here for lunch today. The atmosphere was lovely, very relazing but the service was not great to be honest. Trying to get the bill is very difficult! The food is good though and its reasonably priced so I would go again if I was in the area (and was not in a hurry!)

Casa Pasta (Clontarf)
55 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Cheap and Cheerful are the perfect words to describe Casa Pasta. The tables are very close together and it has a very cosy atmosphere. The food/pastas are good-nothing to special but then again it is pasta-so really what can you expect? If you are looking for a cheap, casual meal with not too much hassle involved this is the place for you!

Milano (Dawson Street)
38 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I had lunch here today and I have to say the atmosphere is very nice-I had eaten before at the Milanos on the end of Baggot Street, (on the canal) which was very nice but the atmosphere in Dawson Street is particularly nice. It was overly busy which was nice too. The pizza was fairly good-I just had the four cheese the only think I would say is I am not too crazy about a thinish base I prefer a thicker base (and am struggling to find this in Dublin!) but as I said it was fairly good, fairly cheap (Soft drink and pizza was about 15 Euros). I would go again if in the mood for pizza and am in town...

The Fern House Cafe at Avoca Kilmacanogue
Avoca, Kilmacanogue, Wicklow

I thought Avoca was nice but to be honest I think it is over priced for what it is. We had two lunches (a salad and burger), 2 desserts, a tea & a coffee, coke and the bill was €60. The atmosphere, service, asthetics etc is lovely The surroundings are gorgerous.

The Avon BAR
The Avon, Burgage, Blessington, Blessington, Wicklow

I was here with a large party (about 15) a couple of weeks ago. The atmosphere was pleasant and I did not really notice anything particularly bad about the service but the food was pretty disappointing and its pretty expensive. I had a steak which was literally as tough as boots! It is overpriced and I would not recommend it although I am not sure there is anywhere else in Blessington to dine so perhaps you get stuck there simply from lack of choice? (I am not familiar with the area so I am not sure of the accuracy of this last statement)

Town Bar and Grill
21 Kildare Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I had dinner here last night & it was lovely. Lovely dining atmosphere and food was gorgeous! The only complaint I would have is that although we got there at 6:30 we had to ask for the pre-theatre menu (although I very rarely order from it I do like to look at it so I can make an informed decision) which always irritates me. It is not cheap so I would reserve it for special occassions-it would be a very nice date night!

Had dinner here last week. It was lovely, very nice but expensive! Worth it though for a nice dinner.

Nonna Valentina
1-2 Portobello Road, Portobello, Dublin

I had dinner here a couple of weeks ago and it was fantastic! I had the early bird which was great value and it is actually any app, main course and desert from the whole menu (rather than a limited poor selection on the early bird). Food was great, Service was lovely and the ambiance is very romantic! Perfect place for a nice date! Great value for money-will definately return
