I have been here before, and this was one of my favorite restaurants. We visited on the back of a voucher, which proved difficult to book, as the restaurant was always booked out days in advance. The night we visited they had an excellent piano player who was enthusiastically providing entertainment. The service was much improved, and the food was excellent! well worth a try

The Fryery Traditional Fish and Chips
21 Usher's Quay, City Centre South, Dublin

Unfortunately the quality of the Fryery has gone downhill recently. It used to be top notch. We got 2 fish and chips recently, the batter was doghy under the crispy exterior and the fish itself wasnt great. hope they sort this out and go back to producing great food

Sophie's
33 Harcourt Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Went to sophies on monday night in december for a friends belated birthday. Firstly the place itself is stunning! great views and atmosphere! We had to wait for a while for a table to become free so we had a cocktail at the bad, which i would highly recommend! The food itself was fantastic! everyone thoroughly enjoyed their choices! We only went for starter and main so didnt have a chance to sample the desert menu. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall a very enjoyable visit to a new very trendy restaurant in dublin!

Diep le Shaker
55 Pembroke Lane, (Off Pembroke Street), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Booked diep as we had a menu pages voucher. The service was excellent! we were very well looked after. The food was delicious, I would recommend the duck starter served on lettuce. The mains portions could have been slightly bigger however. We stayed on after and had a cocktail at the bar and enjoyed the live music. I would highly recommend!

Millstone, A Dublin Restaurant
39 Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went into town on sat nite looking for a restaurant for a quiet meal for my partner and myself. After a busy xmas wanted something nice but reasonable. stumbled upon Millstone, had wanted to go there for a while and we were attracted by the offer, 3 courses for €22. although the atmosphere was excellent, they had a singer with guitar also on the nite, the food was decidedly average. slightly disappointing.

Baan Thai (Ballsbridge)
16 Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Excellent food, as always. I was slightly disappointed to learn, when we got the bill, that the price on the menu for the main course does not include rice. Not as reasonable as first impressions would lead you to expect.

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

By far the best gourmet burger place around. Love the atmosphere here. its always busy and its not uncommon for there to be a queue outside. The benches inside are shared, and the staff sit beside you to take your food order which is a nice touch. The food is soo good. I recommend getting your burger in a wrap. sometimes has a live DJ also which is a nice touch.

Noshington Cafe
1A Washington Street, City Centre South, Dublin

My friends regularly congregate here for sunday brunch to catch up after a busy weekend. It is worth coming to for the food which is usually excellent! Unfortunately the same cant be said for the service. As the cafe has been open a while you would expect this to be sorted by now. It often proves difficult to get a table, and it often doesnt help when after waiting for 10 mins, someone walks in the door and the staff say to take a table even though you have been waiting.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

Eexcellent service, aqs you would expect from a matradee of gordon ramseys. food was excellent. my friend got the signature dish and wasnt dissapointed. It was slightly expensive for a late lunch meal as we didnt get the early bird special due to the limitations in the early menu.
