Went here last night for the buffet which value-wise at 16.90 for all you can eat is great. It was extremely quiet with just two other people dining and perhaps it's due to this that there wasn't a great amount of food available - enough for us, certainly, but it made me wary of the idea of bringing a large group. That being said, the starters were great especially the shredded chicken and the soup though the main courses were nice but average.

Great food, friendly service and terrific value. This place would be so popular if it wasn't for the rather dingy decor and atmosphere. The food and wine list more than make up for it but it would be a much more enjoyable experience if they improved the atmosphere. Not a place to relax and stay the night.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Great spot. The value especially considering the menupages voucher is super, the service is friendly and attentive and the food is quite nice. Not amazing but perfectly good and filling. one criticism - the place is extremely loud even at lunchtime.

Bia Bar
The Drury Court Hotel, Stephen Street Lower, City Centre South, Dublin

Blah. Have been here for lunch a number of times and am never very impressed. The service is rushed and the food, salad especially, aren't fresh.

Tamara Restaurant
Unit 11/18 Belgard Square, Tallaght Town Centre, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

This new restaurant is beautiful to look at and has lovely, attentive service. The food was great with them accommodating me with a chicken pad Thai which wasn't on the menu, even though it was lovely the portions were huge and I couldn't finish it - they happily boxed it up for later. Well worth a visit. Lovely service, atmosphere and lovely food.

Govindas Restaurant (Aungier Street)
4 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

A genuinely happy place, the service is always friendly and the food is always fantastic. The small plate is piled high and keeps you full for hours. I couldn't manage the big plate in a million years! The paneer and desserts are amazing.

Stone Haven Restaurant
Mill Street, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

This place is amazing. A lovely room with attentive staff and a good atmosphere but the best is the food - great, tasty portions and a ton of unusual choices including the ostrich which was fantastic. Worth the trip.

Paparazzi
Unit 4 Old River House, Templeogue, Dublin

Good value and a lovely room with nice service. The bruschetta, however, was awful but the carbonara and fudge dessert more than made up for it. All in all this was a lovely meal that didn't cost the earth. Would definitely return.

Chez Max (Palace Street)
1 Palace Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Food and atmosphere are unbeatable but the service seems prone to making mistakes and can be cold.

Dante (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

The complementary nuts are a nice touch and my bruschetta starter was amazing... but my main course of carbonara was awful. This seems to be the case in most restaurants in Dublin lately for some reason. The place itself is fine - nothing special - and the staff veered between over-attentive and hard to get hold of. Expensive for what it is but not the worst.

Choices Restaurant
Main Street, Dublin 24, Tallaght, Dublin

Great food, value and service but the interior really doesn't feel like a restaurant and could sorely do with some attention.

China House (Firhouse)
15 Firhouse Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Firhouse, Dublin

Lovely food and atmosphere but occasionally filled to the gills with children running all over the place.. Not relaxing.

Excellent food, lovely service and comfy enough to take your time with.

Good for late night food... cosy but the service could be better.

TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

The atmosphere and staff here were great and really nice however the food wasn't great at all, which was disappointing considering the prices. Not great value, perhaps it was an off-day.

Ristorante Romano
12 Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

The decor is strange and a bit off-putting, the food is very good but the portions aren't greatly filling. The service is unfriendly and the coke was flat. Not worth it even though the value was quite good.

Reeves Restaurant
172 Templeogue Road, Dublin 6w, Templeogue, Dublin

Great food and handy location but the interior could do with some improvements to make a visit more enjoyable.

New Millennium Chinese Restaurant
51 South King Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great value lunch menu with amazing duck, the spring rolls on the other hand was far too greasy.

Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

Love this place - I think I may actually prefer it pre-renovation but it's still lovely. Great food and service.

Anvil Bistro Restaurant
Saggart Village, Dublin 22, Saggart, Dublin

Had the most amazing organic salmon here for lunch a few weeks ago. Unparalleled. Great food (pricey!) though the place is a little cramped and service not fantastic.

Mother Reillys Restaurant
The Uppercross Hotel, Opp Tesco, Rathmines, Dublin

Fantastic place. One of the best in Dublin without a doubt. Love it!

Cafe Bliss
4B Montague Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely decor, lovely staff and lovely food. It's nothing too special but great to pop into for breakfast or lunch. The fry and the Malaysian chicken are great!

Yamamori Noodles
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My parents and I stopped in here early on Friday evening and were told we could have a table until 6.30. This was fine and we were given a comfortable booth. The 3 of us shared 2 starters which was more than enough and extremely nice. I had seafood yaki-soba, my mother had the tofu steak and my father a chicken dish. All were lovely but we couldn't even finish them after the starters - the portions are definitely generous. With four glasses of wine and a coke, the bill came to around €100 which was fantastic. The service was also great and really apologetic about having to make us leave at 6.30. The complimentary green tea is also a nice touch. All in all well worth returning to.

Acapulco Restaurant

Gorgeous food, gorgeous staff, laid back atmosphere and good value. Fun place.

The Cedar Tree
11a St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

The atmosphere and the decor here are beautiful, the service is friendly and helpful, the food is great and good value - all good except for the belly dancer who appears from nowhere and kinda interrupts the whole meal!!

La Paloma
17B Asdills Row, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Beautiful food - especially the mussels and the lamb. The sangria is a great touch and the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant lovely. My only complaint is that service can sometimes be too relaxed and as a result leave you waiting... and waiting. However, the food is great and it's still more than worth a visit.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

Absolutely amazing. My favourite restaurant in Dublin. Every time I’ve been here the food is terrific as is the wine list and especially the punch! It is quite expensive but the food, atmosphere and service all make it totally worthwhile.

Siam Thai (Andrews Street)
14/15 Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin

The food here is amazing. The new decor is gorgeous and though you can sometimes be served too quickly the service is basically good if a little unfriendly. Nice wine list too - overall a good option.
