Visited here yesterday with my husband and my daughter. We decided to try the early bird priced at €14.50. It was absolutely brilliant excellent value for money, it is served in the bar by very attentive and friendly staff. The starter of deep fried mushroom, followed by turkey and ham with all the trimmings and coffee with complimentary biscuits were all delicious, well worth the value for money and I will be back.

La Palma Ristorante Italiano
Parnell st, Waterford, Waterford City, Waterford

Visited here with three friends as we were heading for the theatre which is situated near by. The early bird is served from 5.30-7p.m. so therefore timing is excellent. We chose the early bird priced at €23.95 for three courses plus tea or coffee. We were delighted with our choice. The staff are professional, pleasant and extremely efficient, give it a try next time you are in Wateford city.

The County Club
Dunshaughlin, Dunshaughlin, Meath

Met a friend here recently for a chat and some food. We have met here several times and each time the food is absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are excellent and very good value for money. Staff are always very friendly and efficient. If you are passing this pub soon, dont forgot to stop for some tasty and delicious food, highly recommended.

Arc Cafe Bar
Liffey Vallley Shopping Centre, Fonthill Rd, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

My friend and I decided to visit the Arc as we had heard about the €20 menu for ladies on a Friday evening. For this you gat a choice of starter, main course and a glass of wine or cocktail, excellent value for money, The choices are very good and cater for all tastes. The staff here are brilliant and obviously work very well together and enjoy their jobs. Very comfortable atmosphere to be in and one that I will return to and would recommend, great spot.

Hard Rock Cafe
12 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Visited here Saturday evening with a friend and tried the €15 menu, for a starter and main course My friend is vegetarian so she was delighted to see that the Cafe catered for same. Lots of choices for the main courses but there is only one starter on the menu with this deal which itself is not very good. Atmosphere excellent as Cafe was full. Service excellent also and value for money was ok, would give it a try even if its only for the atmosphere.

Cafe Boulevard - Baggot St
132 Lower Baggot Street, Ballsbridge, Dublin

A couple of us visited this very busy restaurant on Saturday evening, our table was prebooked which is a must this time of year. From the time we arrived to departed we received excellent service from very friendly staff. Our meal was tasty and each course was served without delay. I would highly recommend this venue for its lively atmosphere, tasty food and excellent service, will return.

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Captain Americas is one of the longest established restaurants in Dublin and was always famous for their quallity of food and atmosphere. However sadly this has changed and while I was disappointed with the quality of the food. I would hate to see this famous cookhouse closing or going out of business. Perhaps the owners should try and improve these faults and hopefully customers will enjoy their experience in the future.
