Amazing food, great service and warm atmosphere. I was never the biggest fan of Indian food until my sister insisted on a family here. What can i say, i have been converted (my partner also). The food is superb. i have been a few times now and never dissapointed. A must have is either the Chicken Patala or Buttered Chicken (creamy and full of different flavours. If you are heading to swords and fancy a bite to eat this is a must (early bird menu is also great value).

Cheap and Cheerful for a midweek catch up with friends, and €10 bottle of wine before 7pm, but they normally leave the wine @ €10 if you stay after 7pm :)

101 Talbot
Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We had been meaning to go here for a number of years, but never really got around to it. We got a Menupages deal, and booked a table for 5pm on a Sat. Thinking it was quite early the restaurant quickly filled up, with a nice atmosphere and very friendly service. The food was excellent and we would have no trouble in booking a table without a voucher. Highly recommend for a relaxed evening, where you can dine smart or casual, depending on your mood.

Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

We booked a table for 2 @ 6pm on Saturday evening before a show in the 3Arena. Simply the food was fantastic. The service was very intentive but not OTT. The staff were very friendly. Will definitely be returning very soon. The website is currently doing a deal - €50 for 2 Starters / Mains & a bottle of wine. Great value - i will be buying this deal.

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Recommended by friends i decided to pop in on the way home from Kildare. I was impressed straight away withthe paging service used to let you know your table is ready. Food was excellent and staff efficient and friendly. Great kids menu too and i also loved the booth like tables which gave a sense of privacy but not enclosed. I would recommend 100 %

OKA Restaurant
Northwood Demense, North Dublin, Santry, Dublin

Fantastic, great food, great service. What can only say but five star all the way. I visited this restaurant for my friend’s birthday last night; there were 10 of us all together. I loved that they sat us at a large round table with made the conversation flow much easier. The food was absolutely fantastic. I wanted to keep on eating but alas my poor tummy could not fit anymore. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. There was a fantastically relaxing atmosphere. We all had starter, main and desert, a few bottles of wine and beer and it only came to €58 each, (considering a few people had lobster). I will definitely be visiting here again. FANTASTIC.

The Goblet
Malahide Road, Artane, Dublin

I was once a regular visitor to the Goblet. The food was fantastic and not over priced. BUT THEN.... they changed the chef and along with that came the bad food. Myself, my partner and my mother visited for an evening meal. Both myself and my mother ordered the duck. Which I used to get on a regular occasion, this time my duck was quite rare, with blood still coming from it, and my mothers was over cooked. We could not understand how they could be the total opposite when they we in the same order. For starters I had the crab cakes, which I normally have, but they were half their normal size, even the plate they were served on was half the size, at the time we did not complain, but as I visit more and more restaurants I realise we should have. On the up side, as per usual, the service was superb from the floor staff and bar staff; I just wish the food had not declined so badly. I haven’t been back, but may to see if it was a one off, I shall post another review afterwards. If the food is back to the goblets usual high standard I will post a review reflecting the same.

The Tower Bar & Bistro
The Waterside House Hotel, North Co. Dublin , Donabate, Dublin

Myself and my partner visited the Waterside today for some light lunch, at first the menu looked quite tempting (bar/bistro), then when I tried to turn the page they were stuck together, I would rather not like to think with what, we then ordered two chicken baguette's which were deplorable, the chicken was very thin and looked like it had been deep fried into a hard rock state, we called the waitress and complained, we returned the food, along with the over cooked chips I must add. I cannot fault the waitress as she did apologise and the manager offered us what we wanted off the menu, but as I am sure many would agree at that point you just want to leave, and we did. We will not be returning... and will not be recommending the place. I mean if they cannot cook some chicken what is the other food like.
