Green Nineteen was a nice surprise. We found easily a place, ordered and get served very quickly. The food was of good quality and the mix of flavour very interesting. I got the duck confit with mash patatoes and choucroute, and my wife has got the pork belly with cassoulet. I tasted her cassoulet and thought it would be perfect with the duck confit as surprisingly it was not salty and thus would have mixed perfectly. In the other hand, the pork belly would have been great with the choucroute. But anyway it was very enjoyable. We got the bill as soon as we said we didn't need anything else without praying for it. I certainly like when efficiency meets respect. About the price, well it is clearly a good value.

The service was excellent, extremely professional and friendly, very welcoming. I got the early bird menu. The food was good but it wasn't exceptional. Still a good value. The location of the restaurant is OK, maybe a bit loud but yet plenty of space between the tables, which remind you that you are in a restaurant, not in a canteen like some establishments. The bar upstairs is very nice, do not hesitate to go for drink or just take a look.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Temple Bar)
Unit 1, Temple Bar Square, Dublin 2 , Temple Bar, Dublin

This time I went for the habanero burger. It was really good, clearly my favorite. The service was fast but I had to wait a bit for the bill at the end... no big deal and clearly a better deal than the classic fast food.

Le Bon Crubeen
81-82 Talbot Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I went there with my wife early in the evening (around 6.30pm) thinking we will easily find a place. Well not... We got a place but at the bar. It wasn't so bad but you don't really know how to sit to have your meal :( I both got the 8Oz Irish Sirloin Steak With Rosemary Jus, Fries And Salad at €12.50. The meat was very good, very tender, perfect cooking. The salad, fresh and nice. The Fries... what was that? Frozen food obviously, quite disappointing. The service was ok but yet the waitress was kind of busy so... In overall the food is ok, the service is ok, the atmosphere. Could do better.

Milano (Grand Canal Harbour)
Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

I went there to try another Milano. Well, it's all the same :) I got the Calabrese pizza. Same presentation, same taste, still very enjoyable. As usual the service is efficient, not exceptional but still with a smile. The location at the Grand Canal Harbour is brilliant. You take the time to enjoy the place.

Milano (Temple Bar)
19 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I often go to the Milano (well I got some vouchers to use!). I wanted to try something new and got the Etna Pizza. Well... I won't advise it. There is no much on the pizza. The pizza is not bad but there is obviously something missing. I was of course disappointed and regreted my choice... Service was ok but not as good as usual. I only got a glass a water and the waitress was obviously to busy to fill my glass. That won't prevent me of trying new pizzas !

The Church Cafe Bar & Restaurant
Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I had a 2 for 1 main course voucher so went there with my wife to taste the food. First it has been difficult to find a place and don't look for help you won't get any. We eventually got a very small table on the side of a wall, not very confortable. Of course it was very noisy but I wasn't expecting less. I ordered the Duck Noodle Stir Fry (€12.95). The service was nice and once ordered we've been served very quick! Probably too quick...the presentation was bad, the meal just tepid, very basic stuff. I'm very happy we had a voucher for this prize we could have a lot better in another place. I really don't think I will go back or they will have to improve a lot the quality of their meals...

The Porterhouse (North )
Cross Guns Bridge, Glasnevin, Dublin

This place, I've come several times already. I love their pizzas and I believe they are among the best in the city. The location is great, there is a lot of space and you can have a drink and watch the matchs with your pals on the huge TVs. Usually the service is really correct. Really a good place to spend some time with your friends.

Vista
Shearwater, Pier Road, Kinsale, Cork

I went there for dinner and got the early bird at 19.50€ for 2 courses. The salmon dish was delicious. I didn't regret my choice even though I am not usually especially attracted by fish meal. It was served with mashed potatoes, fried vegetables and a tartare sauce. Really delicious. I then got the chocolate brownie. It was served tepid and was nice, but not the best I got. The decoration was nice and the waitress friendly. After a rainy day this was very nice to get a good meal in a nice environment with smiling people :)

Sabai
19 The Mall, Waterford City, Waterford

I went there for lunch during the easter week end. I got the lunch menu for 14,95€ for 2 courses. It was good, the people and decoration were nice. The place was not crowded so it was a relaxing moment.

Milano (Dawson Street)
38 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The place was full and very loud. The tables are very close to each others, which is a bit annoying... I tasted the Calabrese pizza and the pasta dish with mushroom and Truffles. Ok it was very good. Yet I was happy I had the 2 for 15€ voucher which was a good deal. I will probably go back. The service was ok, nothing special yet, they were too busy.

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I've been oriented to the bar room, which I believe was a good thing since I liked a lot the cosy place and the very confortable chairs. I got the early bird menu. The beetroot and blue cheese was very good for a starter; My main dish was the duck confit. It was good as was my chocolate brownie. The service was ok. The waitress was very nice but the waiter,hmm... can do better. Anway it was a very good meal, very nice place and good service. Obviously a very good value and I'll go back.
