We have been going here as a couple and bringing groups to Wicklow Heather for very many years. A friendly welcome is guaranteed into amazing sorroundiyngs where the busy staff are very professional and attentive. But what of the food? With a wide variety on the menu, there's something for everyone - something delishious, fresh, full of flavour.... and this has been consistent through the years in my experience. There's plenty of free parking, overnight accommodation and complementary drinks available but for me, it's all about the excellent food and service. Some people may say it is expensive but I believe it represents great value for money when compared to other restaurants in Wicklow so if you are one who appreciates a wide range of quality food served by friendly staff in a relaxing, charming atmosphere , be sure to try it! However........ as it is usually a busy place, reservations are recommended!

Three customers in the restaurant for lunch so I got a bad feeling when I went in. The food was poor in terms of quality, taste and presentation. The atmosphere was far from welcoming and the area needs a good dusting! Not cheap and I will be passing by in future!

TRAX Brasserie
Friary Road, Naas, Kildare

Very busy restaurant so booking is recommended. The atmosphere is most welcoming into a wonderful and interesting building but professional, friendly staff. The quality of the food is excellent as is the service and presentation. We were not rushed out the door after eating! The location may be tricky to find but it's well worth making the effort!!

Beckett's
Cooldrinagh House, Leixlip, Kildare

Came highly recommended so expectations were high on the night.... we were not disappointed from the initial welcome to the atmosphere to the wide variety of fantastic courses and to the thank you, please come again! There's no doubt but we will be back! Reservations recommended though.

Mulberry’s Restaurant
@ Arboretum Lifestyle and Garden Centre, Kilkenny Road, Leighlinbridge, Carlow

Found this restaurant by accident and as it's part of a famous garden centre I was not sure what to expect. That said, it's quite large and family friendly but was very busy with big servings of a good variety of tasty food in a clean environment, friendly staff and good value for money. Glad I found it and will go back again.

Bare Café
Vista Primary Care Centre, Ballymore Eustace Rd, Naas, Kildare

More like a canteen than a cafe but clean, cheap and plenty of free tables.

Weeping Thaiger (Naas)
Wolfetone Street, New Town Centre, Naas, Kildare

Large portions of average food but this was reflected in the price. Cheap and cheerful family food.
